Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1945: Chapter 1939 Making Pills

After getting the children’s approval, Qin Xue took them to wash up and rest, fearing they wouldn’t wake up early tomorrow. She needed to enter the space later to manage her herbs, so it was better to get the children ready for bed earlier.

”Fang Xiu, stop doing that and go rest. You can wash it tomorrow,” Qin Xue said, seeing Fang Xiu preparing to wash the children’s clothes, and stopped her.

”Alright then, you go rest too. I won’t wash them.” Originally, Fang Xiu thought of completing one task, but after hearing Qin Xue, she set the clothes aside, figuring she’d wash them the next day since she had nothing urgent to do.

”Okay, you also rest early, goodnight.” Qin Xue said to Fang Xiu, then entered her room. Her herbs in the space were ready for harvest, so she had to manage them properly.

Upon entering the space, Qin Xue looked around with disbelief. She was indeed quite wealthy now, but many things couldn’t be shown to others, making her feel like a beggar with a golden bowl.

No one would believe it if they heard. It’s disheartening that a modern woman like her lives so restrainingly.

If Chu Molin found out about Qin Xue’s thoughts, he’d be speechless. His wife had become one of the wealthiest people in the Imperial Capital, yet still wasn’t satisfied, leaving him, an ordinary person, at a loss.

Even if Chu Molin knew, he’d still prioritize his wife. Thus, a doting husband is the least reliable, as his heart places his wife first. Who could compete with the number one in his heart?

Sigh, better to obediently research new medicine. Qin Xue looked at some new species in the space; she’d collected them wherever she found any. She would plant any medicinal herb she could, making it convenient for her when she needed them.

Now, Qin Xue was working on a medicine for cold hands and feet, a common issue for women due to cold uterus and blood deficiency.

Qin Xue thought for a moment before gathering herbs: Atractylodes macrocephala, Aristolochia, Coix seed, Gentiana, Motherwort, Phellodendron among others, a total of fifteen to make a traditional Chinese medicine concoction. Then, she began simmering them to make pills for easy consumption. This concoction not only aids cold hands and feet but also irregular periods, so it’s marketable, but Qin Xue wasn’t ready to sell it yet.

She’s merely experimenting to see the effectiveness of the pills. Once perfected, she’d sell them in a pharmacy.

As she worked, Qin Xue contemplated opening a pharmacy when the time was right. She could then diagnose patients herself, granting her more freedom.

At present, Qin Xue hadn’t considered how being the attending physician would prevent her from handling a scalpel. Her mind was focused on business, leaving her no choice but to think this way.

She was so focused on one matter that she couldn’t spare a thought for anything else. Otherwise, she’d never want to part with her scalpel.

Asking a surgery-loving doctor to give up the scalpel is as painful as asking a mother to abandon her child. Qin Xue hadn’t realized this yet.

Qin Xue busied herself in the space until her neck ached. Only then did she stop to stretch. With Chu Molin not home, she’d lost track of time; if he knew, she wondered if he’d be upset.
