Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1932: Chapter 1926: Fang Xiu Has Arrived

And it’s been so long since we’ve seen each other, there’s no other reason. If she hadn’t been in confinement after giving birth, she might not have let Jingtao come along with them.

Seeing her looking so rosy now, it seems she recovered well during the confinement period. Of course, she was well taken care of, and from what Nangong Beiying said, everything was well arranged. Even though Jingtao wasn’t there, Jing Xin was by her side, and when your mood is good, you have energy and motivation to do anything, right?

Looking at the child in her arms, so cute, with that chubby little face, you can tell he’ll grow up to be handsome.

Don’t ask how Qin Xue knows this; the parents are quite good-looking, so there’s no reason the child wouldn’t be, right? Of course, we won’t mention genetic mutations and such.

”We’re all doing fine, how about you? Is work going well? Thank you so much for taking care of Taotao these past months.” She really didn’t have time to take care of him herself, but she trusted Qin Xue and didn’t want her child away from her for months otherwise.

During her confinement, her husband told her some things. It turned out Qin Xue was really Jing Xin’s cousin, and Nangong Beiying was her husband’s sister, which put her more at ease. Having family like that take care, what is there to worry about? Her confinement was smooth and restful.

Except for her husband having to return to S Province, she was very relaxed and well-rested here.

”No need to be so formal among family, and Taotao is such a good boy, there’s no trouble at all, right Taotao?” Qin Xue placed the bowl of porridge on the table, smiling as she asked Jingtao.

”Yes, Mom, I’ve missed you and little brother.” Before leaving, Jingtao only glanced at his little brother, and now seeing him again, the child had grown a lot.

”I’ve missed you too. Did you have fun at Grandma’s with Auntie and the others?” Fang Xiu missed her son dearly too. He had never been away from her side before, and now it had been more than two months.𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

”It was great, Grandpa and Grandma were very nice.” Jingtao remembered his time in H Province; it was truly good, but it couldn’t stop him from missing his parents.

Fang Xiu didn’t change what she called them just because her relationship with Qin Xue was clarified. She let the child call them what he liked, as long as there was no confusion in seniority.

She knew it wouldn’t really matter anyway, and she and Qin Xue had built a sisterly relationship, so what did it matter if she changed it or not?

”Hmm.” Fang Xiu felt a bit regretful. Her own parents weren’t good, so she never brought her child back to see them. The child didn’t know what his real grandparents were like, so experiencing this at Qin Xue’s was a good thing.

In fact, Fang Xiu thought it was a good opportunity, at least it made up for some of the familial ties the child longed for. She thought it was quite nice.

”Xiu, you haven’t eaten, have you? Join us.” Qin Xue placed a bowl of porridge in front of Fang Xiu.

”Sure.” Fang Xiu didn’t hold back. She felt that this comfort had been missing for a while, even though it had only been over two months. It seems habits can truly be a scary thing.

It was so nice, just arriving and feeling this warmth right away. She believed this kind of feeling can be found among close friends; that’s what friendship is.
