Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 808: Chapter 802 Making a Phone Call_1

“Qin Xue, actually, I think you make a lot of sense. A woman really should have her own career; otherwise, she’s too passive. Although my family treats me well, it’s because of this that I want to do something more. I used to look at you with envy, jealousy, and hatred. But now that you’re saying I can do it too, I want to accomplish something so that my future children can proudly proclaim that their mother is very capable and competent.” After returning to the Imperial Capital, An Hao decided to change her old lifestyle, resulting in her thinking about more things.

After listening to them, Qin Xue felt like she had a strange knack for prompting others to grow, an oddly peculiar feeling.

After meeting Fang Hong, she joined her in business. After meeting Yu Xiu and Fang Xiu, they also joined her in business. Now, after meeting An Hao and Chu Xiaoqiao, they also wanted to join her in business. This made Qin Xue feel like she was a “bad woman” who compelled everyone to strive for more when they were living their lives just fine.

“Okay then, it’s up to you. I’m merely making a suggestion. It’s up to you whether you want to do it or not.” Qin Xue was also afraid that if they failed to make money, they would blame her. Doing business wasn’t guaranteed to be profitable all the time. She had only thought about how easy it was to make money in the eighties, but she had overlooked people’s changeable mentalities. If they ended up not making money and blamed her, she would be at a loss for words.

“Qin Xue, now that I’m interested, you can’t back out.” Upon hearing Qin Xue’s words, An Hao was anxious. She saw Qin Xue doing so well and no longer wanted to rely on her family. She wanted to become a strong woman like Qin Xue.

“An Hao, it’s not that I want to back out. But let me tell you, this is a time when people are proud to be workers, and there are very few individual businesses. If you really want to do this, you have to be psychologically prepared. You might get criticized.” Qin Xue thought that national reforms hadn’t started yet, and individual businesses were rare.

...
“I’m not afraid. I want to do it.” An Hao straightened her back, speaking with resolute determination.

“Well then, let’s go back. I’ll arrange the next steps.” Seeing her determination, Qin Xue stopped persuading. After all, it was easy to earn money nowadays, and the question was how much you could earn.

“Okay.” An Hao and Chu Xiaoqiao had no objections. The three of them locked the door and returned to Qin Xue’s house. Qin Xue started drawing up renovation plans, while An Hao thought about how she would run her shop. Chu Xiaoqiao pondered about how she could help her sister-in-law do business.

Once school was over, Chu Molin thought of going to the principal’s office to make a call for a quota.

“Report.” Chu Molin walked into the principal’s office only to find that the principal was still there, which was to his liking, as he didn’t have to pick the lock to sneak in and make a call.

The principal would probably be stunned to discover that Chu Molin had initially planned to pick his lock.

“Come in.” The principal was busy with his documents, barely lifting his head to respond, and immediately invited the visitor in.

Seeing the busy principal, Chu Molin didn’t interrupt him and stood quietly, waiting.

“Oh, it’s you. What can I do for you?” The principal stopped writing, lifted his head, and recognized this outstanding student. After learning that Chu Molin was from the Chus, he had inquired about him, discovering that he had left home years ago. But besides that, he hadn’t managed to uncover anything else.

“Principal, I’d like to use your phone if I may,” Chu Molin said. Now that he was at the Institute, using their phone wouldn’t be too troublesome.
