I'm Not Afraid of My Wife Being 30 Years Old, I'm Afraid of Her Knowing Everything

18: you are so Beautiful!Xia He had just breathed a sigh of relief as Jiang Hao’s body moved backward.

But due to the force of inertia, Jiang Hao’s body was pushed back in again.

Caught off guard, Xia He’s legs went weak, and she leaned into Jiang Hao’s embrace.

Jiang Hao, who had inwardly cursed ”damn it,” didn’t expect Xia He to lean over. He subconsciously wrapped his arms around her and said apologetically:

”Are you okay? We’ll be there in two stops. Almost there, just a little longer...”

Held in Jiang Hao’s arms, Xia He felt an inexplicable sense of security and a sweet happiness in her heart.

It was a feeling she had never experienced before.

She found herself actually liking this feeling.

It made her temporarily forget all the troubles she had experienced with work and life back home.

”If only I could keep leaning on him like this, but... sigh!”

Xia He knew that this thought of hers was not realistic for the time being.

She wanted to pull away from Jiang Hao’s embrace.

But the subway was too crowded.

After trying to shift a few times without success, she only ended up making Jiang Hao feel like he was about to explode:

”Don’t move, just let me hold you properly. Don’t move, absolutely don’t move again!”

Xia He looked up at Jiang Hao’s flushed face. She seemed to understand something, and the blush on her pretty face became even more visible.

”This Little Rascal, he’s actually being so restless, hmph!”

Xia He wasn’t actually angry at Jiang Hao’s behavior at this moment.

She knew that her younger brother in front of her didn’t mean to do it, and she couldn’t blame him for this.

Xia He didn’t dare to look up and meet Jiang Hao’s eyes; she buried her head low, feeling extremely nervous inside.

She took a deep breath, knowing that if things continued like this, it would likely lead to trouble, so she quickly reminded Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, I won’t move around, and you shouldn’t move around or have random thoughts either. Let’s just hold each other like this; just endure it for a bit, we’ll be at the stop soon.”

Jiang Hao nodded quickly:

”I know, I know. I don’t want it to be like this either, but I... Sis, please don’t take it to heart. After we get off the subway, you can hit me or scold me all you want. I won’t resist at all. Please don’t be angry, okay?”

Xia He looked up at Jiang Hao’s somewhat remorseful expression and let out a chuckle:

”Alright, alright. I know you didn’t mean it. I’m not that petty, honestly!”

Xia He’s pretty face was already flushed, and with her glasses on, that soft chuckle made her look infinitely charming and captivating.

It made Jiang Hao’s heart tighten, and he blurted out:

”You are so beautiful!”

Feeling Jiang Hao’s burning gaze so close to her, Xia He felt shy and excited inside:

”What? You’ve only just discovered that your sister is beautiful? Did you think I was ugly before?”

Jiang Hao said with a straight face:

”Absolutely not. You have always been the most beautiful woman in my heart.”

Jiang Hao didn’t say the words ”one of,” and it was impossible for him to say them.

Looking at Jiang Hao’s serious expression, Xia He smiled softly:

”I haven’t seen you for two months, and you’ve become more glib. Honestly tell your sister, have you found a girlfriend here in these two months?”

A girlfriend, no.

A potential hookup, maybe one.

But this was definitely something Jiang Hao couldn’t tell Xia He, or rather, couldn’t tell her for the time being:

”No, no. If I were to find a girlfriend, I’d want a great beauty like you, Sis. I can’t look at other women.”

Hearing Jiang Hao’s flattering words, Xia He felt as if she had eaten honey; her heart was filled with sweetness.

[Your bullshit made Xia He happy inside; her favorability towards you has increased. Intimacy +3, current total intimacy is 33 points. You have received a cash reward of 90,000 yuan (can be withdrawn at any time).]

Looking at the system prompt, Jiang Hao was displeased.

”System, I don’t like what you’re saying. What do you mean by ’bullshit’? This Jiang is speaking the truth, alright? The kind that’s truer than real gold!”

Jiang Hao and Xia He leaned against each other, finding topics to chat about to ease the awkwardness between them.

Ten minutes later.

Jiang Hao and Xia He arrived at the Sichuan University subway station.

After exiting the subway, Jiang Hao and Xia He both stopped in their tracks and said simultaneously:

”Wait for me here, I’m going to the restroom.”

”Xiao Hao, wait a moment, I’m going to the restroom.”

As soon as they finished speaking, both of them were instantly frozen in awkwardness.

They both understood why the other needed to go to the restroom.

But this matter...

Neither of them could bring it up clearly.

Jiang Hao pointed to the restroom nearby:

”How about you go first? I’ll wait here for you!”

Xia He smiled awkwardly:

”Alright then, wait for me here for a moment!”

Xia He quickly turned around and ran towards the restroom nearby.

[You have let Xia He experience a unique feeling for the first time; she is happy and excited inside. Her favorability towards you has increased. Intimacy +4, current total intimacy is 37 points. You have received a cash reward of 160,000 yuan (can be withdrawn at any time).]

Huh?

Ah!!!!!

Σ(⊙▽⊙”a!

This works too?

Seeing the prompt.

Jiang Hao was shocked.

”A unique feeling... she wouldn’t have actually done that, would she? Is it that easy? Hiss, that is truly terrifying!”

A few minutes later, Xia He came out.

Her expression had returned to normal, and she told Jiang Hao with a smile:

”Xiao Hao, you go ahead, I’ll wait for you here.”

Jiang Hao nodded and then went into the restroom.

Xia He watched Jiang Hao’s retreating figure, and the scene on the subway surfaced in her mind, causing her heart to heat up involuntarily:

”This stinky younger brother is really restless. He actually dared to take advantage of me; he really deserves a beating. However, that feeling was really...”

Xia He was startled internally and quickly pulled herself together:

”Xia He, oh Xia He, what are you thinking? You can’t think such things; this is not right...”

A few minutes later, Jiang Hao returned.

Guided by Xia He, they exited the subway station and walked towards Sichuan University.

On the way there, both of them tacitly avoided mentioning the incident on the subway.

”How long do you plan to stay in Chengdu this time? Are you still going back to your hometown?”

Seeing Jiang Hao bring this up, Xia He’s mood dampened, and she shook her head:

”I’ve already quit my job back home, and I don’t want to go back to my hometown for the time being. The people and certain things back home make me very annoyed. This time, I came to Chengdu wanting to find a stable job, prepare for postgraduate and doctoral exams, and improve my academic qualifications. As for future matters, I’ll deal with them later; I can’t think that far ahead right now!”

Xia He’s family situation was very complicated.

Especially her stepfather, who was both a drunkard and a gambler; he was a complete scumbag.

Jiang Hao didn’t mention these things to avoid affecting Xia He’s mood.

”It’s good that you’re not going back. With your ability and academic qualifications, it won’t be difficult to find a stable and good job in Chengdu. What kind of work are you planning to find?”

Xia He thought for a moment and told Jiang Hao:

”A good roommate from my university works as a teacher at a training institution. The working hours and compensation are quite good. I’ve made plans to meet her for dinner later to get some information from her before making a decision.”

Jiang Hao nodded after hearing this:

”In recent years, off-campus training institutions have indeed been very popular! The demand for training teachers is high, and the income for training teachers is truly quite good. This is a decent path.”

After Jiang Hao finished speaking, he suddenly thought of an idea and asked Xia He:

”Have you ever thought about starting your own business?”
