All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 15 Blood Gem”And the bridge that communicates with the racial Origin and assists us in comprehending the racial Law is your Awakening—totem spirit!”

The Sheep God’s voice rose, ”A totem is not just a manifestation of power; it is the condensation of a race’s Bloodline, history, and spirit! Comprehending the totem is the shortcut to understanding our own racial Law!”

As soon as these words were spoken, a ripple of enlightened whispers echoed through the plane. The importance of the totem was once again elevated to a height concerning the very foundation of a deity!

”However, comprehending the totem and excavating the hidden power and Law mysteries within the depths of its Bloodline is no easy task.”

The Sheep God changed the subject, ”The Royal Court has accumulated auxiliary methods over ten thousand years. This object is called—Blood Gem!”

He spread his palm, and above it floated a crystal the size of a pigeon egg. It was a deep, dark red color, and inside, it looked as if viscous blood was slowly flowing.

A thick essence of blood Qi and faint Law fluctuations emanated from it, causing many deities to subconsciously take a deep breath, as if that aura could trigger a resonance within their own Bloodline.

The Sheep God explained, ”Consuming Blood Gems can help you ’nourish’ your totem, accelerating the excavation and understanding of its Bloodline abilities.”

”For every totem Bloodline ability you master, your comprehension of your own racial Law deepens by one step. When you have mastered all the Bloodline abilities contained within your totem, that will be the day your comprehension of Level 0 racial Law reaches Perfection!”

To put it simply, Blood Gems were used to ’add points and level up’ the totem! If the point allocation was successful and a new ability was mastered, the Law comprehension progress bar would increase!

To help everyone understand how to ’produce’ this key resource, the Sheep God’s Divine Thought rippled out, transmitting a mysterious and ancient piece of information into the consciousness of every deity.

”This is the [Orc Basic Blood Qi Condensation Method], which can be passed down to your followers to Cultivate.”

”This method can guide follower warriors to condense ’Blood Patterns’ on their body surfaces during battle or daily Cultivation, greatly enhancing their physique and combat instincts.”

”The excess blood Qi essence dissipated by practicing this method will be automatically absorbed and condensed by your totem spirits, eventually forming these Blood Gems!”

”The stronger the followers, the harder they Cultivate, and the more condensed their Blood Patterns are, the higher the speed and quality of the condensed gems!”

As the information flowed through him, Zhou Zheng understood instantly. The essence of Blood Gems was highly condensed blood Qi essence that contained racial imprints!

This belonged to a different source of power compared to his spices, which enhanced mental activity and spellcasting talent.

One leaned towards the Physical Body’s blood Qi and combat instincts (more in line with the mainstream Orc path), while the other leaned towards mental activity and Spell potential (relatively niche).

”No wonder the Hunting Gods have little interest in spices...” Zhou Zheng thought to himself. ”They have a more direct way of obtaining Blood Gems that fits their predatory nature—squeezing the output of the Farming Gods, or directly plundering weaker deities!”

His gaze swept over those powerful Hunting Gods and then over the Farming God projections on the periphery, who appeared withered and numb-eyed.

Most of the Blood Gems they worked so hard to condense would likely be forcibly collected by the Hunting Gods under the guise of ’tribute’ or ’protection fees.’

Using the flesh and potential of their own followers to nourish the power of their oppressors...

Zhou Zheng sighed inwardly. He was no saint and could not change the deeply rooted jungle Law of the Orc God System. He himself was a Hunting God, one of the beneficiaries of this system.

Though he felt some sympathy, at the moment, he had no intention of shaking this behemoth. Survival and development were his only goals.

After the Sheep God finished teaching the Blood Qi Condensation Method and the mysteries of the Blood Gems, his figure slowly faded like smoke and vanished. The light on the stone platform went out once more.

It was a familiar process. The Fox God’s projection did not appear; instead, countless gray cloaks condensed from the power of rules automatically fell onto the projection of every deity.
