Devouring Evolution: Devouring Nuclear Bombs at the Start

206: Chapter 206 The Fallen “True” God”I can become stronger here, and I want to become stronger.”

Eighteen said seriously.

Ever since the home planet was contaminated, a seed of wanting to become stronger had been planted in Eighteen’s heart.

Now that there was an opportunity to become stronger, Eighteen did not want to miss it.

Hearing Eighteen’s firm reply, Lin Sheng nodded and said nothing more.

Then, he looked toward Sky.

When Lin Sheng shifted his gaze to Sky, the Little Thing looked at a loss. Lin Sheng shook his head and spoke:

”Do you want to return to the Great Universe, or stay here like Eighteen?”

Lin Sheng’s voice calmed Sky down quite a bit. He looked at Eighteen, then at Lin Sheng, and then spoke hesitantly:

”I... I want to stay too.”

For Sky, there were no more of his clansmen in the Great Universe. Rather than returning there, it was better to stay in the Shanhai Realm with Eighteen; at least there was someone he knew here.

”Very well.”

”I will speak with the Creator here later and ask Him to look after you.”

Seeing that both Eighteen and Sky wanted to stay in the Shanhai Realm, Lin Sheng nodded, planning to find Nan Zhu later to ask for help with the arrangements.

...

After handling Eighteen’s matters, Lin Sheng did not linger in the Shanhai Realm for long. After all, his purpose for coming here had been achieved; next was to head to Yeros’s Evil God Universe.

After bidding farewell to Eighteen, Lin Sheng sought out Nan Zhu.

Upon hearing which universe Lin Sheng needed to visit, Nan Zhu closed his eyes in contemplation for a moment. When He opened them again, a flash of surprise crossed His eyes.

”Did Fellow Daoist see something?”

Lin Sheng keenly captured that flash of surprise in Nan Zhu’s eyes and asked curiously what He had seen.

However, to Lin Sheng’s inquiry, Nan Zhu only slightly shook his head, merely saying that there was an existence He was familiar with there. As for who that existence was, Nan Zhu did not say more.

Nan Zhu’s ambiguous answer did not dispel the doubts in Lin Sheng’s heart; instead, it made him increasingly curious.

But seeing that Nan Zhu had no intention of explaining further, Lin Sheng did not ask more.

”If Fellow Daoist wishes to go to that place, then let me send you off.”

Seeing Lin Sheng remain silent, Nan Zhu thought for a moment and spoke.

”If Fellow Daoist still has matters to resolve, you should go resolve them quickly.”

”Once those few friends of mine arrive, I will go find Fellow Daoist. I hope you can extract yourself in time then.”

Before Lin Sheng left, Nan Zhu did not forget to give a reminder.

In response, Lin Sheng nodded, indicating he had noted it.

...

Nan Zhu’s methods were far beyond what the Light Lord could compare to. One second Lin Sheng was chatting with Nan Zhu, and the next, his figure appeared on the periphery of a universe.

In Lin Sheng’s eyes, this universe was very strange. It possessed an inexplicable attraction to any living creature. Even for Lin Sheng, if he didn’t use his subjective consciousness to interfere, he might have stepped brainlessly into this universe.

Lin Sheng observed for a while at the edge of the cosmic membrane and then noticed that even the cosmic membrane of this universe showed signs of chaos.

The level of this chaos was very high; one would need to be at least at the level of a Level 6 civilization to barely resist it.

Lin Sheng’s expression was somewhat solemn, but after thinking for a moment, he still stepped into this universe.

Even if not for Yeros, he had to enter here to deal with those few members of the Creator.

Just as he stepped into this universe, Lin Sheng noticed that a figure suddenly appeared in his line of sight.

”You... have been resurrected?”

Looking at the figure in front of him, Lin Sheng asked in confusion.

”In a way.”

Yeros first nodded, but then shook her head:

”My power is slowly recovering, but the speed is a bit slow.”

”Next, I need to tell you about the situation here. You need to be prepared.”

Hearing Yeros’s words, Lin Sheng didn’t speak, gesturing for her to continue.

”This universe was originally ruled by six Titled Deities: ’Order’, ’Light’, ’Devour’, ’Space’, ’War’, and ’Life’. But at a certain moment, very suddenly, the universe changed.”

”’Devour’, ’Space’, ’War’, and ’Life’—these four Titled Deities were instantly contaminated. The entire Great Universe was left with only me and the God of Light struggling to hold on.”

”Now that I’ve been gone for so long, the God of Light probably can’t hold on much longer either.”

Feeling the contamination in the cosmic space that was dense to the extreme, Yeros sighed.

At this time, Lin Sheng asked curiously.

”Do you know what the source of contamination that contaminated the Titled Deities is?”

Hearing this, a flash of fear crossed Yeros’s face. She glanced toward the center of the universe before slowly speaking:

”That kind of existence is already beyond our imagination.”

”However, when I noticed Him, I defined Him as a ’True’ God—a fallen True God.”

”’True’ God?”

Lin Sheng voiced his confusion, but in the next moment, Yeros spoke again, answering the doubt in his heart.

”According to your understanding, this ’True’ is the ’True’ of ’Truth’.”

When Yeros put it that way, Lin Sheng understood.

To put it bluntly, a fallen Daluo had directly contaminated this Great Universe.

And what Lin Sheng needed to do now was to deal with those members of the Creator right under the nose of this fallen Daluo.

Although the risk was a bit high, Lin Sheng wasn’t too worried.

According to Yeros, that Daluo had never left the center of the universe since arriving here. He had always stayed there. If the contamination of this universe hadn’t become a reality, most existences in the universe certainly wouldn’t know there was such an existence.

”I will first recover my power here. You must be careful and never approach the central region of the universe.”

Before Lin Sheng left, Yeros warned him.

Then, as if thinking of something, Yeros spoke again:

”If you see the God of Light, could you...”

”No.”

...

Following the guidance of Omniscience, Lin Sheng quickly found those individuals from the Creator.

After seeing them, Lin Sheng was quite surprised by their current living conditions.

In the current situation, rather than saying the Creator had exiled them here, it was more like the Creator had sent them here for a vacation.

Lin Sheng never expected that the Blue Spirit God, whom he had mostly swallowed on Earth, would actually be a Main God in this Great Universe.

Relying on the prestige of a Main God and the help from the Creator’s headquarters, these few people from the Creator were doing quite well for themselves here.

However, all of this was broken after Lin Sheng’s arrival.
