Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1517: End of Colossuses Part 10

Just like a deflated balloon, Edgar’s expression became less and less prominent. He was so exhausted and fatigued by the situation that he couldn’t even care about his appearance.

His so-called meticulous plan, which was very successful, became a major setback.

Now, his guild even risked disbandment because they were accused of the highest taboo in the Divine World.

And so far, only one guild, which was the Vegan Life Guild, managed to earn the honor of being the first to be permanently banned in the Divine World.

Edgar did not want to be a second guild to receive such treatment.

It was the kind that would stain his name forever and ruin his reputation.

They would no longer care what he did anymore, except for the fact that he led his guild to being banned all across the game.

’H-how did things become like this?’ Edgar was demotivated and wished to redo his action.

Alas, this wasn’t some video game that allowed undos.

”Viscount Lin Feng... What do I need to do to prove my innocence?” He suppressed his anger and asked in a hoarse tone.

”You’re asking me how?” Xu Feng appeared to be shocked by the question.

”Shouldn’t that be something you thought of before coming in here? But instead of that, you were disrespectful, rude, and honestly... condescending.”

”I-I was wrong, Viscount.”

”No, you don’t know you’re wrong. You only know that your life in the Divine World is about to be over.”

”...”

Silent, Edgar couldn’t refute the statement at all.

He was wrong???

The only wrong he made was recruiting a bastard in his guild who destroyed the Teleport Platform.

Had it not been for that bastard, then how could Xu Feng have easily gotten a hold of him and forced him into such a state?

”Anyway, do you know who that person was? The person who destroyed the Teleport Platform?” Xu Feng inquired.

”Yes, they are called HKBomi!” Edgar replied right away.

”HKBomi?” Xu Feng narrowed his eyes. He didn’t recognize who this Bomi was, but he certainly recognized the HK initial.

HK, which stood for Hell Knight, was basically the initial for players who accepted the Hell Legacy in exchange for power.

Although they wouldn’t turn into some kind of disgusting mess of form like most fantasy novels, they were certainly the notorious group.

From the moment they accepted the Hell Legacy, they no longer operated within the Divine World System but the Hell World System.

The functions were basically the same, with the difference being item usage and how they couldn’t use some native items of the Divine World.

”You want redemption? I’ll give you 3 days to capture this HKBomi and bring it over to the Aether Empire. Otherwise, the punishment for your crimes would increase.” He said solemnly.

Edgar’s eyes lit up.

He thought Xu Feng must have been restricted in some way. ’Indeed, there’s no way he can ban a super guild like that.’

That earlier statement must have been said to garner traffic from the livestream. Or at least some sort of reaction from the audience about how bossy he was.

’That is probably what Edgar is thinking...’ Xu Feng smirked when he was sure he had manipulated Edgar enough to believe he had no authority to actually ban a super guild.

Given their current relationship rapport, these so-called super guilds had yet to thoroughly establish themselves as a vital aspect of the Divine World.

Therefore, while the real world perceived them as significant and deadly, it really wasn’t that much in the Divine World.

In contrast, Xu Feng managed to hug the thighs of Olivia and got an audience with the emperor.

And by offering the solutions to end the colossuses, his guild was already on the trajectory to rise to an influential organization.

The attitude and behavior of these imperial soldiers were evidence of that change.

Would they really behave so politely to a Viscount?

No, what they really respected was his current status with the emperor and his recent meritorious deed of defending humanity fiercely.

’The task was to find the culprit. Since I have a fool willing to do the work for me, why not use them well?’ Xu Feng smirked. It was just right that both Cute Joy and Little Honey would stick by Edgar’s side to stream his journey of searching for the culprit.

Moreover, this was a good time for him to expose to the public that there was now a lunatic group that goes by HK who wish to do harm to the Divine World.

The initial HK was permanent until they lost the Hell Legacy and were unable to change.

All players could do was try their best to hide their username with a special item, but they needed a certain achievement to purchase them through their Hell Shop.

’Hell Legacy... the time for Colossuses to end is coming.’ He sighed inwardly. The players who didn’t pay much attention might not be aware. But the third major update was coming.

What was this update?

It would be The Legacy Era!

With the majority close to reaching Tier 2 or long-achieved Tier 2 and working their way to Tier 3, it was soon going to be time for them to choose a Legacy.

Even if one didn’t want to become a Legacy Holder, that was a Legacy in itself, called the Independence Legacy.

While Xu Feng was pondering the eras, a soldier suddenly entered the trial room and approached him.

”His Majesty wishes to summon you.” The soldier whispered.

Xu Feng nodded his head.

’It should be that Olivia completed her test, and the emperor finished verifying some of the events in Red Forest City.’ He thought to himself and stood up.

”Alright, Mister Edgar of Razor Nightmare is permitted to leave with a few members of his to search for HKBomi. Within 3 days, regardless of whether the assignment is completed or not, he is to return to the empire without delay. Otherwise, everyone in the Razor Nightmare would be branded the traitor symbol.”
