Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1030: Too Engrossed

A few minutes after Natasha resumed her second fight. This time, she lasted longer than the first fight, but only for a small margin of duration.

She fell to the ground, her face listless from being overwhelmed and suppressed by the illusory figure.

To make things worse, a new system analysis appeared—this time even more ruthless and coldhearted. It mentioned how despite being informed of her flaws, she failed to fix any of them and continued to commit the same mistake.

The last remark was what hit the final nail in her coffin: A stubborn and hopeless woman who overestimated herself!

Defeated and unable to refute a single word, Natasha clenched her fist. She took in a deep breath and exhaled softly.

”Please tell me the fixes I need to do. I’ll pay attention to it this time.” She sighed and submitted to the system analysis.

Reality had already proven her otherwise that her method was futile against the illusory figure.

What made it even more infuriating was the mere fact that she felt the illusory figure had shadows of Nathan—the precise healer who had stumped her.

Maybe the data taken in the arena stage was already implemented and thus caused her to suffer repeated losses.

As the system received the command, it began to generate the solution methods for her to contemplate.

—

1. Predictable Movement Pattern

”Teleport to Flight = standard. You got read like a book.”

Fixes:

Incorporate Feints: Use a short-cast skill or half-cast spell before teleporting to fake intent.

Break Pattern: Mix horizontal movement (e.g., Shadow Step, Blink) before going vertical.

Set Trap Zones: Lay traps or glyphs where she expects to be chased, turning predictability into bait.

—

2. Poor Combat Awareness

”You moved before observing. You died before reacting.”

Fixes:

Use Scouting Spells: Spells like Mana Pulse or Arcane Echo to track incoming cast signatures.

Train Peripheral Focus: Practice fights in mirrored HUD mode to get used to split attention.

Active Observation Window: Always take 0.5 seconds to assess the enemy’s cast type before reacting.

—

3. Overconfidence Bias

”Dismissed the enemy too early. Paid the price instantly.”

Fixes:

Adopt Tactical Restraint: Don’t act until one layer of information is confirmed.

Use Delay Initiatives: Start fights with zoning, not nuking.

Mental Reset Protocol: Treat each opponent as potentially superior until proven otherwise.

—

4. Cooldown Mismanagement

”Burned all escapes in a panic. Left yourself open.”

Fixes:

Escape Layering Drill: Train to stagger escape tools over 6–8 seconds, not all at once.

Internal Cooldown Tracker: Assign cooldown-based key bind visuals to gauge timing instinctively.

Replace Flight Opener: Use Phase Dash or Arcane Flicker instead for faster vertical spacing.

—

5. Reaction vs. Intention Conflict

”You teleported with no plan. Just fear and panic.”

Fixes:

Intent Training (Silent Sparring): Practice reacting to surprise casts without activating any movement skills until 1s delay.

Mark Safe Zones: Create a habit of always having a mental safe zone on the map.

Prep Secondary Action: Don’t teleport unless there’s a follow-up skill pre-decided (e.g., shield, counter).

—

6. Multicast Misapplication

”You fire everything at once. You run dry. You get mauled.”

Fixes:

Stagger Casts for Control: Learn to chain spells 1.5s apart instead of firing together—maintain pressure.

Mana Management Simulation: Train in half-mana conditions to prioritize key spells.

Introduce Interrupt Layer: Use a control spell (e.g., Arcane Bind) between damaging multicast to reset opponent movement.

—

7. Emotional Impulse Casting

”You’re not fighting the enemy. You’re fighting your pride.”

Fixes:

Mental Anchor Routine: Take one deep breath and clench your staff every time rage builds mid-fight.

Combat Journaling: Review one failed battle a day and write down emotional spikes.

Delay Spell Input by 0.25s: Use rhythm-based spell inputs instead of pure reflex to reinforce deliberate casting.

—

The system listed out a total of 7 points with 3 possible fixes to enlighten Natasha. Despite each quote from the 7 points being extremely critical and harsh, Natasha closed her eyes and accepted them.

’The system is right. My multicasting has enabled me to destroy enemies in a matter of seconds. They were never able to deflect or defend against it, so I became complacent as of late.’ She came to a realization that her temperament began to change since she succeeded in multicasting 3 spells together.

When she first started, she always made sure to pay attention to everything and utilized her spells efficiently. But now, all she did was multicast her powerful offensive spells to decimate her enemy in one shot.

As of this moment, Natasha had long forgotten her original goal and focused solely on improving her flaws and weaknesses. The desire was like burning hot in her heart and she refused to let anyone or anything stop her.

Anyone who dared to impede her training was destined to face her wrath!

”Hmph, this lady shall defeat that damn illusory figure and fight Nathan again.” She snorted and was just about to begin the third fight.

However, nothing occurred.

”Where’s the illusory figure?” Having seen no generation of the illusory figure, Natasha’s eyes flared up and shouted furiously.

She was about to call Kailey to demand an explanation when a new system prompt appeared.

System: You have used up 30 minutes already! Please recharge the fee or request a supervisor to attend to your situation!

”...”

Instantly, Natasha’s expression darkened and she nearly crashed out.

What the hell do you mean 30 minutes passed already?

She barely felt like she was in the chamber for less than 10 minutes.

Was the Vanguard Guild scamming by speeding the time?

”Kailey, what is the meaning of this?” Furious, Natasha dashed out of the chamber and questioned, ”When did 30 minutes pass by already? You can’t just stoop that low to earn some silver coins!”

She was so hot-headed at the moment to notice her surroundings.

”30 minutes have already passed.” From behind her, Xu Feng suddenly said, startling her on the spot.

”Fuck!” Natasha jumped up as if her tail had been stepped on by someone. ”When did you get here?”

”A few minutes earlier than you.” Xu Feng rolled his eyes and opened the Divine World clock for Natasha to see. ”I know you’re poor and stingy. But I didn’t know you would stoop that low to accuse the Vanguard Guild of cheating your time when you spent it all already.”
