Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 947: Swamp Alligator

From the intense growling that clearly resembled a monster, everyoneʼs faces turned pale except for one.

As for who it was.

It was none other than the culprit, Xu Feng.

Upon hearing the growling roar, he knew his scent finally attracted its appearance.

Without hesitation, Xu Feng retrieved his Ragged Scroll and noticed Husan was actually distracted by the sudden growling.

He flashed a cruel smile and decided to use this chance to knock Husan toward Robinʼs side while he used his movement technique to flee.

Everyone was too distracted for a moment, so when they suddenly saw Husan flying straight into the dead center, both sides regained their composure.

No matter what the threat from behind was, the only thing they needed to worry about now was the threat in front of them.

”Good chance!” Robin was the first to snap out of it and stared at Husan like some prey.

An Assassin who had been exposed and entered a lethal zone was essentially over.

Under the swift movement of Robin, his swords easily sliced and diced Husan. There were streaks of light in the afterimage from the speediness of his attack.

This was the lethality of a Swordsman class once they got close to a weak defense class.

Even though Husan did react and attempted to escape, it was impossible to do so once caught in such a terrible position.

Both were experts in their own league, so just one mistake was fatal enough.

”RECKONIZER!”

At this moment, ViciouSorc screamed in rage as he turned around to search for Xu Feng. He would be a foolish man if he didnʼt know who the culprit was.

Who else but him caused Husan to meet his end like this?

Unfortunately, ViciouSorcʼs rage was short-ended when he noticed the latter had already slipped away while they were distracted.

”Where did he go?” ViciouSorc turned to Mentos and questioned.

Mentos flashed a bitter smile in response. He didnʼt say a word, but the silence was enough for an answer. It was clear that they didnʼt know where Xu Feng had slipped off to.

Moreover, they didnʼt even have the leisure time to search for Xu Feng when Robin already capitalized on this chance to rush toward them.

”Go die, people of Driftcore!” Robinʼs eyes were cold as he received multiple buffs from his companion.

Now his movement speed and attack speed had increased twofold. Additionally, their numbers were high and without a healer on ViciouSorcʼs side, it was obvious who would win.

There was no way Robin would waste his time in arguments when there was danger coming from behind.

In the blink of an eye, Robin already closed the distance between him and ViciouSorc.

”Hmph, how dare you underestimate me?” ViciouSorc snorted coldly and activated his barrier. He then unleashed a chain of spells that sought to bombard Robin.

Robin was a Swordsman Class, so his defenses were also relatively weak.

However, Robin didnʼt need to worry much as opposed to ViciouSorc who didnʼt have any buffs on.

As both sidesʼ health points continuously dropped, ViciouSorcʼs health was about to drop to the remaining 30% whereas Robin still had over 50%.

The difference was high, but contrary to Robinʼs laughter, his pupils suddenly constricted.

”What the fuck?” He cursed aloud when he saw ViciouSorcʼs health points recovering.

From the initial 30%, his health bar was now rising to 35%.

40%... 45%... 50%...

In the end, ViciouSorcʼs health bar was nearly identical to his.

”That pesky healer didnʼt escape?”

Not to mention Robin, even ViciouSorc was dumbfounded when he received healing from the very person who got his teammate killed.

”Whatʼs going on?” ViciouSorc was baffled and utterly stunned by the abnormality. ”Why would he heal me when I have already turned my back against him?”

Luckily, their confusion wouldnʼt become a cold case, granted the long-awaited Swamp Alligator had arrived.

With its unique ability, the Swamp Alligator had been swimming underground all along.

Upon its emergence, the first lucky winner was the person whom Robin had slapped earlier. Without making any resistance, the person was swallowed whole by the Swamp Alligatorʼs large and wide mouth.

At the same time, the player count on top of the sky also decreased by another number.

Robinʼs face turned ugly.

”Damn it all. Retreat!” He sounded the retreat as he had no intention of fighting a monster capable of swallowing them whole in an instant.

Besides Robin, even ViciouSorc was telling Mentos to retreat.

Unfortunately, they couldnʼt get far when they were suddenly blasted by some explosives. The smoke and knockback impact forcefully propel them to return to their original position.

It was only now they realized they had been trapped in a certain radius.

”Curses, it must have been Reckonizer!” ViciouSorc wasnʼt foolish to not understand that the explosives must have been placed by him.

Nodding, Robin also realized he had been played like a fiddle. ”What great teammate you managed to be with. He could set up such a devious trap to eliminate us all.”

”Shut up!” ViciouSorc snapped. ”Had it not been for your greedy ambush. Would we have been trapped here?”

Although they had some escape utilities, both sides already attempted to activate them. It was just a shame that the escape utilities seemed to be temporarily disabled.

They believed Xu Feng had a hand in this as well.

But what they didnʼt know was that Xu Feng didnʼt have such power nor would he waste that many precious tools to kill them.

ʼThe Swamp Alligator unique passive disables all escape utilities tools aside from skills.ʼ Xu Feng sneered inwardly. This was the reason why he targeted Husan only because as an Assassin, his escape skills were too abundant.

As for ViciouSorc, it was a little too late for him to use Teleport to escape.

After all, Robin wasnʼt foolish enough to allow him to escape while they stayed stuck in the lethal field of the Swamp Alligator.

Amidst their horror, the Swamp Alligatorʼs tail revealed itself from underground and did a whiplash attack.
