Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 920: DataSeer’s analysis

OneManMedia was panicking on the inside when he noticed Xu Feng was displeased with his post.

He had pondered over and over about his post and news-spreading method, but couldnʼt spot any wrong.

Looking confused, Xu Feng created a group chat and invited both DataSeer and OneManMedia. He then typed a few things in the group chat and sent it to make sure OneManMedia would learn his lesson.

Lin Feng: DataSeer, inform OneManMedia why his post is lacking and isnʼt reaching the desired effect.

A few seconds after the message was sent, DataSeer attached numerous graphs and screenshots.

DataSeer: The townʼs grand opening would be exposing its geographical location. Since we want to attract more players and earn a major profit through entrance fees, we need to emphasize the strategic location to entice others.

OneManMedia: But wouldnʼt the others start to make their way to the townʼs location and potentially cause trouble? I didnʼt reveal it because I planned on waiting for the last second to give the troublemakers zero time to prepare.

DataSeer: Your thought process isnʼt wrong, but the Guild Leader had repeatedly expressed his discontent with the troublemakers. We can see from Guild Captain Vortex Viperʼs monopolization at Garak Forest as a sign that the Vanguard Guild is done being shoveled around.

After reading the message, OneManMedia became silent. He began to retrace his steps and assistance to Veronica in the past few days.

Sure enough, his face turned somewhat pale for not having been able to detect the signs that the Guild Leader was done playing nice.

ʼRight… With the townʼs grand opening, it would be the perfect time to sweep the troublemakers in one go.ʼ OneManMedia was enlightened and realized the flaw of his post and news spreading.

It was exciting and intriguing, but it lacked the spice and necessary fuse that would go out with a bang. Xu Feng intended to show his might and prove to everyone that the town was safe even if troublemakers intended to cause chaos or commit PK around the area.

Therefore, by announcing the location of the town early and letting those troublemakers make ample preparation for 3 days.

Xu Feng was effectively daring them to come and see what would await them.

However, OneManMedia nearly sabotaged his Guild Leaderʼs plan by concealing the townʼs location which was equivalent to sending a message that they were afraid and wanted to keep a low profile.

”Iʼm sorry, Guild Leader.” OneManMedia suddenly bowed his head and apologized. He realized his shortcomings and that his eyes were only focused on a short range of time and not the long range of time.

The short range of time would be trying to prevent troublemakers whereas the long range of time would be daring them to come and eliminate them when the time arrived.

The former was naturally a passive response, but the latter was an aggressive response and one that would ensure maximum fear to those who still harbored malicious intent.

”No need to apologize.” Xu Feng raised his hand. ”Just keep in mind to work closely with DataSeer from now on. Heʼs also a valuable asset and could help you greatly if you want to earn more clout.”

Nodding, OneManMedia understood he was too narrow-minded. Since he left in a rage and wished to establish a one-man media industry, he came to realize how naive it was.

The world was painted in a gray color. It was hard to differentiate between bad and good. Each perspective had different views on certain events.

By now, his frustration in the past was just the embodiment of someone who had never witnessed much.

Although OneManMedia accepted that media were always going to be manipulated and released to change tides or alter peopleʼs opinions, he still despised his superiors who did so for unscrupulous purposes.

”Alright, return to the guild residence and meet up with DataSeer. Make sure the news is spread correctly this time and make it very grand. Donʼt hold anything back.” Xu Feng emphasized the last sentence.

”Yes, Guild Leader,” OneManMedia replied.

Soon, he exited the tavern and the atmosphere turned quite awkward.

With no one speaking up, given that there were no more common topics, Carmen decided to break the ice.

”Guild Leader, what do you think the Colossus is going to be up to next?” She asked curiously.

At the current stage, cities that were conquered by Colossus still loomed over players. Many hunting grounds or neutral maps that were close to the conquered cities could no longer be accessed.

To be more precise, it wasnʼt that it could not be accessed, but the danger posed there was significantly high. Without even reaching level 70, one would only be seeking death if they were to step foot in the previous hunting or neutral maps.

After all, the Colossuses had managed to dominate the nearby monsters and set up defenses around the perimeter.

Previous quest rewards from the Adventure Association regarding those specific maps had risen tremendously.

However, the bountiful rewards couldnʼt be claimed by many players, and the lack of resources was starting to appear.

This was also the main reason why many sought the Qualification Profession to completely bypass the beginner experience which required the resources found only in those dangerous maps.

As Carmen raised the question, both Flame Bird and Gentle Wind also perked up their ears. They naturally wished to listen to the insight and response that Xu Feng had over the current situation.

If anything or anyone who might have a clue or some information about the situation, it was definitely him.

”Hmm, I do have some information.” Xu Feng said, and took a long pause, creating some suspense.

As everyone started to wait for his response, he suddenly laughed aloud.

”But I donʼt reckon I am required to reveal the answer to you all, right? This can be considered pricey information.”

Flame Bird: …

Gentle Wind: …

Veronica: …

Carmen rolled her eyes and wondered why she even expected to receive a free answer from him. ”You are too prone to trolling, Guild Leader.”
