Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 396: Gifting

As Wei Xing answered a question from the viewer, he successfully prevented some nefarious viewers who might want to cause drama to disrupt the streaming.

After all, some could be trying to question the appearance of Lin Feng in a dungeon raid held by the Silver Wind guild. If such matter spread from his streaming, then not to mention Gentle Wind, Lin Feng would be the first to butcher him alive.

ʼWhoever dares to cause trouble, Iʼll blacklist the heck out of them.ʼ Wei Xing vowed silently.

Gentle Wind assisted him greatly, and he was afraid yet admired Lin Feng. There was no way he would do anything that could harm these two reputation.

No, it was more precise to say that he was scared to even attempt anything.

Shortly after answering one of the viewers, Wei Xing spotted many bullet comments filled with questions.

Some were asking what was the reason behind the title, and some were asking if he had joined the Vanguard guild.

Their confusion wasnʼt unfound, given the fact that OneManMedia was unaffiliated with any guild or joined any— at least on the surface. Internally though, OneManMedia was already a member of the Vanguard guild.

It was just that there was no need for him to join yet. The time was not ripe yet.

Wei Xing cleared his throat and raised his hand, ”Please viewers, give me a few minutes to talk and stop the spamming of questions. Otherwise, we will never be able to proceed with the matter. Of course, donations are still allowed to be spam.”

Shortly after, viewers donating an Ice Cola were spammed, rendering Wei Xing speechless.

Ice Cola was the cheapest donation one could make, costing only 1 dollar.

Stay connected through empire

This was followed by Pizza, a Capsule, a Massage Chair, a Luxury Car, a Dragon, and then a Castle. From the lowest to expensive, the value of them were 5, 10, 50, 100, 200, and finally 500 dollars.

With his screen being nearly blasted by the numerous Ice Cola, Wei Xing became frustrated and decided to turn off the notification. Now only Dragon and Castle gifts could be notified on the screen.

At the same time, he turned on a 5-minute slow-mode timer, preventing those who wanted to spam in the comment section.

ʼHmph, want to send multiple comments? Just send those 200 or 500 dollars over.ʼ Wei Xing snickered inwardly. If there were still spammers this time, then Wei Xing would gladly welcome them with wide open arms.

Thankfully, the new arrangement worked, and the comment section visibly slowed down, except for the viewer count.

”Alright, letʼs get back to the topic.” Wei Xing clasped his hands and smiled, ”I donʼt know if you watched the news channel, but Iʼve appeared there today and recently discussed the Vanguard guildʼs announcement.”

[Yeah, we heard you loud and clear!]

[Are you going to discuss what the livestream will be about?]

[The update is going to be live soon anyway. I heard many other guilds are planning on livestreaming as well.]

Reading these comments, Wei Xing remained composed and asked, ”How many of you are from those other guilds? Or more specifically, how many are affiliated with other guilds who wish to collaborate with the Vanguard guild?”

With his sudden question, the comment section quickly went silent. Other than a few users sending emojis to mess around, the comment practically cooled down.

”You can stay silent, but hereʼs information that you can send back to your respective guild. The Vanguard guild is officially putting up 90 slots available for auction in their upcoming large-scale dungeon raid.” Wei Xin smirked and announced before making a heart sign with his fingers.

”In this clickable link is the website where you can sign up and join the auction. Rest assured, this link is completely safe and vetted.”

[Is this not a scam then?]

[Why should others bid for a slot in the raid when others can do it themselves?]

[Is the Vanguard guild short of funds and resort to doing this to scan?]

Soon, donations of Dragon were being gifted, along with the text-to-speech messages being spoken out in the stream.

Unfazed by the questioning as if he anticipated some being skeptical or confused by the meaning, Wei Xing proceeded to show a slide for the viewer.

The slide was filled with data, including the exponential growth of the Vanguard guild.

”As you can see from this data, no other guild could successfully call themselves an Overlord in any city except for the Vanguard guild. The Star Falls City resources and even the NPCs are legit listening to the Vanguard guild.” Wei Xingʼs expression turned solemn.

[The Vanguard guild became an Overlord only because they had the head start. But this major update is different. Everyoneʼs starting point is the same.]

”Heh, is the starting point really the same?” Wei Xing snickered at this new speech message. ”Tell me what do you know about Colossus?”

As Wei Xing asked this question, the comment sections were dumbfounded.

With the 5-minute slow-mode timer, a person could only send a message every 5 minutes, but the sender who used text-to-speech through donation earlier had already sent a message 2 minutes ago.

Otherwise, they wouldnʼt have spent 200 dollars to make that comment.

ʼHehe, Lin Feng will get most of the money from this stream, but as long as I scam them well enough, the profit I get will still be good.ʼ Wei Xing thought to himself.

One minute later, no one responded to him through donation. Wei Xing sighed softly and shook his head.

”I guess nobody wants to know about the Colossus. What a shame, and here I was preparing to reveal something.” He added, clearly ignoring the comment sections that were asking him.

Additionally, he had turned off the Dragon gifting text-to-speech messages as well, forcing those to gift him Castle worth 500 dollars only if they wanted him to talk.

ʼIʼm not greedy, but life circumstances force me to be a bit of a money-grubber. Mhmm, this is all from Lin Fengʼs dao and Iʼm just learning from the Guild Leader.ʼ Wei Xing inwardly exclaimed, feeling zero shame.
