Peninsula: Director of Public Prosecutions Starts with Daily Intelligence

Teacher Wen Dongen! (asking for monthly tickets)”Hello, Teacher Moon!”

”Good morning, Teacher.”

”Good morning, everyone~”

At the entrance of Sunflower Elementary School.

A short-haired, charming, and mature-looking teacher waved, standing at the entrance, greeting the children coming and going.

”Hello, Teacher Moon~”

Moon Dong-eun turned, hearing a familiar voice.

Park Yeri, carrying a little yellow duck backpack, sat on a little donkey, greeting her in a sweet, childish voice.

Moon Dong-eun was startled, looking at the boy riding the little donkey.

”Teacher Moon?” Park Yeri asked again, seeing Moon Dong-eun didn’t respond.

”Ah? Good morning, Ye-sol.” Moon Dong-eun realized her lapse and quickly composed herself.

”Ye-sol, why did you come on a little donkey today?” Moon Dong-eun watched Ye-sol get off the little donkey, stepping forward to steady her so she wouldn’t fall.

”Isn’t he handsome?”

”Eh?”

Park Yeri looked at the children around her, then said to Moon Dong-eun, ”Isn’t my daddy handsome?”

”Your daddy?” Moon Dong-eun asked in surprise.

”Yo!” Lee Se-hyun freed a hand and lightly patted her head: ”I’m your brother-in-law!”

”What nonsense are you spouting, you little brat?”

Seeing Moon Dong-eun’s puzzled expression, Lee Se-hyun explained, ”Hello, Teacher, I’m Park Yeri’s brother-in-law. She was busy today, so I’m bringing Park Yeri to school for her.”

Ye-sol, that little rascal, was talking nonsense. He almost became Park Yeonjin’s dad, happily gaining two grown-up daughters.

Only then did Moon Dong-eun understand that this handsome man in front of her was Park Yeri’s dad... no, Park Yeonjin’s husband?

”annyeonghaseyo!” Moon Dong-eun extended her hand and said, ”You’re Park Yeri’s brother-in-law?”

Moon Dong-eun looked at the duo in front of her with a strange expression. As far as she knew, Park Yeonjin’s husband was supposed to be a Prosecutor.

Why... so ordinary, riding a little donkey?

She knew that when Park Yeonjin usually dropped Ye-sol off at school, her Porsche was always the most dazzling focal point upon arrival.

It was as if Park Yeonjin wanted everyone to know she was rich.

”Teacher Moon, has Ye-sol been causing any trouble at school?”

”Let me tell you, if this child is disobedient, you should educate her, and don’t hold back if you need to hit her. Hit her hard. As parents, we 100% support you, Teacher.”

”Ah! Don’t hit Ye-sol, Ye-sol is very well-behaved at school~” Park Yeri pouted playfully.

”Whether you’re well-behaved isn’t up to you.” Lee Se-hyun stroked Ye-sol’s little head: ”It’s only truly well-behaved if the Teacher says you are.”

Moon Dong-eun was not only a teacher at this school but also Park Yeri’s homeroom teacher.

Moon Dong-eun smiled faintly and said, ”Ye-sol is very well-behaved at school; I couldn’t bear to hit her.”

She was startled by Lee Se-hyun’s ’truth’ from his country. Not only was she a friendly teacher who disliked traditional teaching methods that involved scolding or hitting,

but even if she truly steeled herself and hit Ye-sol, she probably wouldn’t be a teacher the next day!

Sunflower Elementary School was an aristocratic school, and its students were almost all rich or powerful. If a teacher dared to hit one, they’d be fired within a day.

Children of Chaebol, children of officials, and even this adorable child in front of her, were all hidden dragons and crouching tigers.

”Then I’ll leave her to you, Teacher Moon. Please pay more attention to our Ye-sol.”

”That’s my duty. I am a teacher, and I will take care of my students even without you telling me to.”

Lee Se-hyun nodded. Was this teacher’s surname Moon?

He felt that Teacher Moon’s gaze towards him earlier was a bit off. As for what was off, Lee Se-hyun couldn’t quite pinpoint it.

It just felt strange.

Lee Se-hyun watched Moon Dong-eun safely escort Park Yeri into the school, then turned to leave... ”Teacher Moon?”

”Ah?”

Ye-sol asked curiously, ”Teacher Moon, you’re so strange! You looked at my unnie with the same expression before.”

Moon Dong-eun turned around, absentmindedly replying, ”Really?”

”Yes!”

”Do you know my unnie and oppa (older brother/term of endearment used by females)?”

Children’s attentiveness is stronger than adults’, honestly!

Moon Dong-eun herself didn’t realize that whenever she met someone related to Park Yeonjin, she would subconsciously lose herself... ”Ye-sol, is your brother-in-law a Prosecutor?” Moon Dong-eun changed the subject.

”He’s a Great Prosecutor!”

”Great?”

”The very great kind!”

Moon Dong-eun chuckled, amused by Park Yeri, and asked curiously, ”Ye-sol, why do you say ’Great Prosecutor’?”

”My unnie told me!”

Park Yeri’s eyes lit up when she mentioned her older sister: ”I want to be a weather forecaster too when I grow up! And... a prosecutor’s wife!”

Park Yeonjin could be said to have given all her love to this little one. Let’s put it this way: Ye-sol, except for not knowing who her biological father was,

never lacked an ounce of family love and warmth.

Perhaps it was due to Park Yeonjin’s childhood experiences that she was exceptionally protective of Ye-sol.

Moon Dong-eun couldn’t help but smile wryly, looking at Ye-sol, who at such a young age wanted to be a prosecutor’s wife. In her mind, the image of Park Yeri growing up to become like Park Yeonjin gradually emerged.

Yeonjin? You’re still the same. Even across language, one can feel Park Yeonjin’s Little Gangster Girl aura.

Even becoming a prosecutor’s wife wouldn’t change her true nature!

A bad memory suddenly flashed through Moon Dong-eun’s mind, her face turning somewhat grim, and a hint of jealousy.

Park Yeonjin had been everyone’s darling since her student days, and even after entering society, she was lucky enough to become a prosecutor’s wife!

Becoming the object of everyone’s envy.

She, Moon Dong-eun, toiled tirelessly, cooped up in a rental room less than ten square meters, studying diligently, and after overcoming countless difficulties, finally became a teacher.

Moon Dong-eun truly resented why this world was so partial to a Little Gangster Girl!!!

...Just as Lee Se-hyun was about to leave, a Mercedes-Benz blocked his way. He was about to scold them when...

”Prosecutor Li Shixian, long time no see, hope you’ve been well!”

Lee Se-hyun’s expression turned a bit sour. The person in front of him was none other than Chairman Shi, that insidious old man!!!

Chairman Shi grinned sinisterly, ”It seems our Prosecutor of the Great Han Republic has forgotten something, hasn’t he?”

Lee Se-hyun adjusted his mindset and calmly said, ”Get to the point. I don’t have time for small talk with you.”

”Haha!” Chairman Shi scoffed, ”Calling you a Prosecutor, do you really think you’re a Prosecutor?”

”Let’s go somewhere else. This isn’t the place to talk.” Lee Se-hyun said, suppressing various emotions.

Chairman Shi had leverage over him. The evidence of him impersonating Prosecutor Brother when he first transmigrated was still in his hands.

Lee Se-hyun feigned a smile on the surface, but inwardly, he had already sentenced Chairman Shi and everyone else who knew about this matter to death.

”Get in the car!”

”No need! Lead the way!”

Chairman Shi sighed. He had heard a little about Lee Se-hyun’s recent actions and hadn’t expected the fellow to actually succeed in his impersonation.

The move he made was so brilliant that Chairman Shi couldn’t help but admire himself as a genius.

Gangnam District, Manxiang Restaurant, a private room.

”I want you, Prosecutor Li, to help me get rid of someone!”

”Who?”

”A Section Chief from the Criminal Investigation Section of the Eastern Police Precinct!”

”What?!!!”
