Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

214: Chapter 215 Western Giants Set a Trap!By the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, the ”Crystal Center,” the main venue for the International Tech Summit, was bathed in a silvery glow by the morning sun. This crystal-shaped building, nestled against the mountains and overlooking the water, exuded an invisible sharpness in every corner—CEOs of the world’s top tech giants, heads of national technology departments, and top industry experts were gathered here. On the surface, they were discussing ”The Future of Technology and Supply Chain Security,” but undercurrents were surging; a ”Hongmen Banquet” aimed at Singularity Technology had been quietly prepared.

Outside the venue, long lines of black luxury cars formed, security personnel were armed with live ammunition, and media reporters held their ”long guns and short cannons,” their eyes locked tightly on the entrance. When Zhang Fan led Song Zhiwei, Zhou Yurou, Gu Jingshen, and others out of their private car, camera flashes instantly lit up like a tide, accompanied by the reporters’ hurried questions:

”Mr. Zhang, has Singularity Technology’s supply chain issue been resolved?”

”There are rumors that your Photon Chip is a plagiarism of Aivda’s. What is your response to this?”

”Mark Anderson said that without Western technical support, Singularity wouldn’t last three months. Do you agree?”

Zhang Fan smiled and didn’t stop, merely raising his hand to signal the reporters: ”I will answer all questions one by one at the summit. Today, we have brought technology capable of changing the global tech landscape. Please look forward to it.”

Stepping into the venue, an invisible pressure rushed toward them. The CEOs of Western tech giants gathered in small groups, their gazes filled with scrutiny and arrogance. When they saw Zhang Fan, they only gave a token nod, showing no desire for communication. Aivda CEO Mark Anderson deliberately held a wine glass, standing in the center of the crowd, and said in a voice neither too loud nor too soft: ”Some companies that started by imitating others’ technology actually dare to attend such a top-tier summit. It’s truly laughable.”

Song Zhiwei’s expression darkened, and she was about to step forward to retort when Zhang Fan gently held her back. ”There’s no need,” he whispered. ”The real show is yet to come. Once we reveal our trump card, they will naturally shut up.”

Returning to the lounge, Zhang Fan immediately called an impromptu meeting. He sat on the sofa, his fingers lightly tapping the table. The system in his mind had already activated [Future Deduction], and the pale blue deduction images were clearly presented in his consciousness:

[Deduction Result 1: During the core forum session of the summit, Mark Anderson will be the first to launch an attack, presenting a ’Technical Comparison Report’ and accusing the Singularity Photon Chip of plagiarizing Aivda patents, inviting three ’industry experts’ to testify;]

[Deduction Result 2: The bribed former technical supervisor of an overseas branch (already under official control) originally planned to hand over forged ’Singularity technical blueprints’ to a reporter arranged by Tianming during the tea break. This has been intercepted, but Tianming has a backup plan—arranging another spy lurking in the media to ’expose’ the fake blueprints after Mark launches his attack;]

[Deduction Result 3: Tianming will release fake data at the summit claiming ’Singularity AI Medical System caused multiple medical accidents,’ attempting to trigger a secondary wave of public outcry, which, combined with the technical doubts, will completely ruin Singularity’s reputation.]

”Tianming’s methods are consistent with our predictions.” Zhang Fan opened his eyes, his tone steady. ”Old Gu, have the people you arranged controlled the spy lurking in the media?”

”He’s been controlled.” Gu Jingshen nodded and showed a photo on his phone. ”He’s a reporter from a certain American tech media outlet. We found forged ’technical blueprints’ and ’medical accident data’ in his camera. We’ve already taken him away secretly, and the evidence has been backed up.”

”Very good.” Zhang Fan nodded with satisfaction. ”Zhou Yurou, are the technical demonstration devices ready? We must ensure everything is foolproof. The performance test of the Photon Chip must let everyone see the gap.”

”Don’t worry, Mr. Zhang.” Zhou Yurou took out a tablet and showed the debugging records for the demonstration equipment. ”We brought three core demonstration units, all of which have undergone repeated testing. The performance data is authentic and verifiable. We’ve also prepared a live teardown session so everyone can see for themselves that our chip architecture is fundamentally different from Aivda’s.”

”Song Zhiwei, how is the communication with the media?” Zhang Fan turned to Song Zhiwei.

”We’ve contacted ten international neutral media outlets, including Reuters and AFP. They will provide full live coverage of the summit, and we will give them priority for questions during our technical demonstration session.” Song Zhiwei added, ”Additionally, domestic media like CCTV and Science and Technology Daily will also sync the live broadcast, ensuring our voice is heard globally.”

”Lawyer Wang, is the patent evidence ready?”

Wang Jingdong pushed up his glasses and took out a thick file: ”It’s ready. This includes the complete R&D logs of our Photon Chip, international patent registration certificates, third-party technical appraisal reports, and a vulnerability analysis of Aivda’s so-called ’plagiarized patents,’ which is enough to prove our technical originality. Once Mark launches his attack, we can immediately submit this evidence and file a countersuit.”

Zhang Fan stood up, his gaze sweeping over everyone: ”Now, everyone to your positions. Zhou Yurou, stay in the lounge and do a final check on the demonstration equipment; Song Zhiwei, go to the media area to ensure the live broadcast goes smoothly; Gu Jingshen, take charge of venue security to prevent Tianming from making any extreme moves; Lawyer Wang, attend the core forum with me. Remember, no matter what happens on-site, stay calm and act according to the plan.”

”Understood!” everyone responded in unison and immediately set off.

At this time, in the main forum area of the venue, Mark Anderson was having a secret call with a representative from Tianming Group. ”Lord Bishop, everything is ready. The three experts are in place, the ’Technical Comparison Report’ has been printed, and the media has been arranged. As soon as I launch the attack, I can make Zhang Fan lose his reputation.”

”Very good.” The Bishop’s voice on the other end of the phone was cold. ”Remember, you must pull them up by the roots. Not only must their technology be questioned, but their company must also lose all opportunities for cooperation. After the summit, I will have Western governments increase sanctions against Singularity, completely blockading their overseas markets.”

”Don’t worry, Lord Bishop.” Mark Anderson hung up the phone, a smug smile playing at the corners of his mouth. He glanced at the forum entrance where Zhang Fan and Wang Jingdong were walking in side-by-side. His eyes were full of disdain. ”Zhang Fan, today is your doomsday.”

At ten in the morning, the core forum officially began. After a brief opening by the host, according to the agenda, Mark Anderson, as the representative of the Western tech giants, was the first to take the stage to speak. Holding the ”Technical Comparison Report,” he stood on the podium, his gaze directed at Zhang Fan, his tone provocative:

”Today, I want to discuss a serious issue with everyone—technological innovation and the protection of intellectual property. Some companies have risen rapidly by copying others’ core technologies, without any regard for the bottom line of intellectual property. For example, Singularity Technology; their so-called ’independently developed Photon Chip’ is actually a plagiarism of Aivda’s core patents. We have ample evidence to prove this!”

He gestured to his assistant to project the ”Technical Comparison Report” onto the large screen. Pointing at several similar technical nodes, he said loudly: ”Look, everyone, these are the patents we at Aivda applied for in 2027, and these are the technical parameters of Singularity Technology’s so-called ’independent chip.’ The similarity between the two is as high as 85%! If this isn’t plagiarism, what is?”

A murmur immediately broke out in the audience. The ”experts” arranged by Tianming raised their hands one after another to speak, echoing Mark’s claims: ”Indeed. We conducted an in-depth analysis of both chips and found that Singularity’s chip completely imitates Aivda in its core architecture, with only some superficial modifications.”

Mark looked at the chaos below, a smug smile on his face. He looked at Zhang Fan as if to say, ”You’re finished.”

Meanwhile, Zhang Fan sat in the audience, always smiling, without the slightest hint of panic. He knew the show had only just begun. When Mark’s speech ended and the host invited him on stage to respond, Zhang Fan straightened his suit and stepped steadily onto the podium. His gaze swept across the room, and his voice was clear and powerful:

”I can only describe Mr. Mark Anderson’s accusations as ’absurd.’ Next, I will use facts and technology to let everyone see the truth.”

He gestured to Zhou Yurou, and the large screen instantly switched. A world-shaking technical counterattack officially began.
