Daily Intelligence: Forced to Save the Beautiful President at the Beginning

208: Chapter 209 Live Broadcast Recreates the Treatment ProcessOn the second day of the rumors’ fermentation, a new smear campaign titled ”Photon Chip Radiation Exceeds Standards” added fuel to the fire—an overseas ”tech evaluation agency” released an ”experimental report” claiming that the radiation value of Singularity’s Photon Chip ”exceeded international safety standards by 3 times.” It alleged that long-term contact would lead to ”genetic mutations and decreased immunity,” accompanied by a blurry photo of a radiation detector where the data column had been deliberately altered.

Many domestic parent groups began forwarding messages to ”Beware of Singularity AI equipment,” and some schools even suspended the ”AI Smart Classroom” projects partnered with Singularity.

Singularity Technology’s PR department was stretched to its limit. Song Zhiwei and her team had pulled two consecutive all-nighters, yet they could only perform basic ”rumor-refuting statement” work—without solid evidence, any defense seemed pale and powerless.

With dark circles under her eyes, she rushed into Zhang Fan’s office, her voice slightly raspy: ”Zhang Fan, if this continues, the ’brave peace and health’ overseas aid project will be suspended. Three countries in Europe have already sent inquiry letters demanding we provide radiation testing reports and medical safety certifications!”

Zhang Fan was looking at the latest intelligence sent by Gu Jingshen. On the screen were internal chat logs from an offshore branch of Ogilvy PR, clearly stating: ”The ’Radiation Over-limit’ report needs to blur the data sources” and ”The ’Influencer Doctor’ script has been sent, publish according to the workflow.”

He looked up at Song Zhiwei, his tone steady: ”Don’t worry, the evidence has been found. Notify the PR department to start a global live stream today at 3:00 PM with the theme ’The Truth: Singularity Technology’s Tech and Safety.’ Have Zhou Yurou bring the technical team to prepare the demonstration equipment, Lawyer Wang prepare the legal accountability materials, and Old Gu, you’re responsible for coordinating with officials to organize the solid evidence against Ogilvy PR to be released at the end of the stream.”

”A global live stream?” Song Zhiwei was stunned for a moment before reacting—this was the most direct and effective way to fight back, using openness and transparency to shatter all rumors.

At 2:50 PM, Singularity Technology’s official accounts simultaneously started live streams on twelve global platforms including TikTok, Kuaishou, and YouTube. The title was direct and sharp: ”Facing Rumors Head-on: AI Diagnosis + Medicine + Chips, Three Truths Explained at Once!”

Within five minutes of the broadcast, the number of viewers surpassed 5 million. Half of the comments were voices of doubt, while the other half were inquiries eagerly awaiting the truth.

The background of the live stream room was the Singularity AI Medical Lab. Zhou Yurou was dressed in a white lab coat, standing next to three special guests—Professor Zhang, a medical expert from the National Health Commission; Director Li from the Oncology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; and a white-haired elderly man, who was none other than the ”deceased” himself from the rumors of ”misdiagnosis leading to death,” Mr. Chen Jianguo.

”First, to respond to the rumor of ’AI medical misdiagnosis leading to death.’” Zhou Yurou’s voice was clear and powerful as she gestured for her assistant to play the screen. ”This is the actual medical record of Mr. Chen Jianguo, the so-called ’deceased patient’ in the rumors. In October 2023, Mr. Chen sought medical attention for a cough and phlegm. The local hospital’s preliminary diagnosis was ’pneumonia,’ but the ’Singularity Doctor’ system, during auxiliary diagnosis, discovered ’malignant features of ground-glass nodules’ in his lung CT and recommended a follow-up pathological biopsy.”

The screen simultaneously displayed the complete diagnostic process: the Singularity AI diagnostic report, pathological biopsy results (early-stage lung cancer), surgical records, and post-operative review reports. Zhou Yurou continued: ”Mr. Chen subsequently underwent minimally invasive surgery and has now recovered, with no recurrence at the one-year post-op checkup. As for the ’death certificate’ in the rumors, we have verified it is a forgery—the hospital seal on it belongs to a private hospital that was deregistered long ago, and the diagnosis date differs from Mr. Chen’s actual visit by half a year.”

The camera turned to Mr. Chen Jianguo, who held up his own checkup report and said in a resonant voice: ”I’m alive and well! I don’t know who’s spreading rumors saying I’m dead! Thanks to Singularity AI for catching the problem in time, otherwise, if this disease had dragged on to the late stage, I’d be beyond saving! Don’t those people spreading rumors have a conscience?”

The live stream room instantly erupted. The voices of doubt in the comments were halved: ”Holy crap! The deceased is actually alive? This rumor is way too ridiculous!” ”Mr. Chen looks quite sturdy; the people faking this are truly wicked!” ”Singularity AI saved someone, yet they were smeared for it?”

Immediately after, Professor Zhang brought out a third-party testing report: ”As a medical ai evaluation agency certified by the National Health Commission, we have conducted a three-year tracking evaluation of the ’Singularity Doctor’ system. Its tumor diagnosis accuracy rate reaches 99.72%, with a misdiagnosis rate of only 0.28%, far lower than the average level of human doctors. The so-called ’misdiagnosis leading to death’ is complete nonsense.”

”Next is the rumor of ’brave peace and health medicine causing death.’” Zhou Yurou switched the screen to show the World Health Organization’s drug evaluation report and global adverse reaction monitoring data. ”’brave peace and health’ has been on the market for five years, with over 15 million cumulative patients worldwide. The incidence of serious adverse reactions is only 0.03%, far lower than similar Western anti-cancer drugs (0.5%). Regarding the ’liver failure death’ mentioned in the rumors, upon verification, that patient had concurrently taken three contraindicated drugs, which had nothing to do with ’brave peace and health.’ Their family has privately reached a settlement with us and admitted to being ’misled’ into posting negative comments.”

Finally, addressing the rumor of ”Photon Chip radiation exceeding standards,” Director Li displayed a testing report from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC): ”The Singularity Photon Chip utilizes ’low-power photon transmission technology,’ with a radiation value of only 0.002μT, far below the international safety standard (0.1μT), and even lower than the radiation of a mobile phone. The report claiming it ’exceeds the standard by 3 times’ tampered with the test data—the original data shows the radiation values are fully compliant.”

To convince the audience, Zhou Yurou also performed a live radiation test: placing a professional radiation detector close to a running Photon Chip. The screen displayed ”0.002μT,” consistent with the report data. ”As everyone can see, the radiation of the Photon Chip is almost negligible, smaller even than the radiation from the desk lamps we use daily.”

As the live stream reached its end, Song Zhiwei stepped before the camera and brought out the solid evidence compiled by Gu Jingshen: ”We have identified that the source of all these rumors is the offshore branch of Ogilvy PR, controlled by the Tianming Group.

These are their internal chat logs and fund transfer records, clearly showing they hired ’influencer doctors,’ forged reports, and bribed marketing accounts to deliberately smear Singularity Technology.”

The screen popped up with chat logs between Ogilvy PR and the ”influencer doctors” (including script content), bank statements of Tianming Group’s transfers to Omey, and the original files of the forged reports from the ”tech evaluation agency.”

Song Zhiwei’s tone was firm: ”Regarding this libelous rumor-mongering, we have already filed lawsuits in domestic and international courts, demanding a public apology from Ogilvy PR and the relevant rumor-mongers, as well as 1 billion yuan in economic damages. At the same time, we will hold the Tianming Group accountable for being the mastermind behind the scenes, without any leniency!”

By the end of the live stream, the global viewership surpassed 20 million. Topics like #SingularityLiveSlapsRumors and #TianmingGroupMaliciousSmear instantly topped global trending lists, with related topic views exceeding 5 billion.

The three domestic Grade-A hospitals that had suspended cooperation immediately issued statements, resuming the use of the ”Singularity Doctor” system;

European health departments also withdrew their inquiry letters, and the ”brave peace and health” aid project proceeded normally. The ”influencer doctor” who spread the rumors posted an apology video, admitting to ”taking money to speak according to a script,” and the account was permanently banned.

After the Ogilvy PR scandal was exposed, several international companies announced the termination of their cooperation with them. Its parent company’s stock price plummeted by 15%, forcing the closure of the offshore branch. Black Rock Capital’s previous short positions suffered losses again due to the reversal in public opinion, forcing them to close their positions early, further expanding their losses.

Singularity Technology’s stock price shot up vertically after the live stream ended, closing with a 12% increase to return to 130 yuan, with its market value recovering to 720 billion. In the employee cafeteria, everyone spontaneously held a small victory celebration again. This time, the smiles held a bit more relief and confidence.

Zhang Fan stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the sunset glow outside. He received a message from Li Yong’s nephew, Li Jianjun: ”President Zhang, if my uncle saw today’s live stream, he would definitely be very happy. You’ve protected his life’s work and upheld justice.”

Zhang Fan replied with ”It’s what we should do,” but in his heart, he knew that the victory in this public opinion war was only another temporary peace. After consecutive losses in the patent war, financial war, and public opinion war, the Tianming Group would inevitably bring out an even more ruthless trump card—he had already predicted through the system that the next crisis would be a supply chain blockade striking at Singularity’s lifeblood.

He turned and walked into the conference room, saying to the core team: ”Notify all core suppliers to sign ’long-term strategic cooperation agreements’ and prepay 30% of the payment to lock in production capacity. At the same time, accelerate the construction of a domestic independent supply chain, especially for key components like chips and sensors. We must achieve 100% independent control within three months. Tianming’s next move is coming.”

The afterglow of the sunset spilled onto the screen in the conference room, which displayed the ”Independent Supply Chain Construction Progress Chart,” with the red progress bar advancing rapidly. An even tougher battle was already imminent.
