Pioneer Lord: Starting From Daily Intelligence

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The Future Champion Knight

The long-standing pressure from KPI assessments disappeared, and Su Li finally relaxed today, celebrating several rounds with his maid Avril until the late night, finally falling asleep contentedly with a sense of conquest as Avril begged for mercy.

This allowed him to comfortably lounge until after nine in the morning the next day, stretching lazily as the sun warmed his back before opening his eyes.

[Since you are in a lounging state, the Prophet’s information updates today.]

Su Li immediately rubbed his eyes hard. What did he see!

Champion Knight!

What defines a Champion Knight, a knight reigning supreme, fearless in all directions, earning the title of champion. Such knights are above elite-level knights.

Su Li has been traversing this world for six months, yet he has never seen a Champion Knight. No, he hasn’t even heard of one within Bauhinia Castle.

Rumor has it that the Knight Commander of the Bauhinia Clan’s most elite Red Night Knight Order is a Champion Knight.

But no one has been able to confirm this news.

And now there is a seed of a Champion Knight within the Longtooth Trading Company?

The Longtooth Trading Company, whom Su Li has had dealings with, is a company that doubles as a slave trader and smuggler, sometimes moonlighting as bandits and raiders in the wild. Rumor says their Slave Capture Team raids remote villages, selling beautiful women and strong men as slaves.

However, the Longtooth Trading Company firmly denies this, claiming it’s slander, insisting that all their slaves come from legitimate sources, captured in areas with privateering permits.

Slave Gladiators have low status, most likely slaves sold by the Longtooth Company.

Just buy her, then have Bauhinia Clan knights rigorously train her, teaching her the Knight’s Breathing Technique, and she will soon grow, becoming one of Su Li’s greatest assets for lounging!

Knight is a synonym for extraordinary power in this world, and the Knight’s Breathing Technique is a method of cultivation. Through the breathing technique, one strengthens their bloodline ability, which is the main way knights grow stronger.

Of course, there are other methods, such as consuming precious fruits or potions to enhance bloodline power.

But fundamentally, it all boils down to enhancing the bloodline to wield greater combat power.

It’s like a Dragon Slayer enhances their bloodline to slay dragons in this world; the only advantage is continuously strengthening your bloodline through training.

Now, with a Champion Knight in sight, Su Li decisively gets out of bed to ensure a more leisurely and prolonged lounging future. Without bothering to eat breakfast, he gets dressed and heads out.

His Guardian Knight Schwartz sees him, respectfully greeting him again, then asks, ”Young Master Su Li, although you have been promoted to Apprentice Knight, training is still essential. Shall we begin training now?”

Schwartz is now Su Li’s martial strength driving to the Border Prince’s Territory; he can’t be disregarded like before. Su Li immediately replied, ”My Chief Knight, you know we are about to set off for the Border Prince’s Territory. The military preparation these three days before departure is more important than training. I intend to pause training for three days; come with me to the Slave Trading Company to buy some slaves; what do you think?”

Schwartz had already learned of being forced to follow Su Li to the Border Prince’s Domain. Honestly, hearing this news initially, he was restless for a long time last night. In his eyes, Su Li is not a suitable noble candidate—idle, lazy, lustful, lacking ambition and content with mediocrity.

It’s hard to imagine such a person would abandon the safety of Bauhinia Castle, choosing to go to the Border Prince’s Territory.

Schwartz even suspected if Su Li was scared off by the harsh training in the military camp.

But now, seeing Su Li seriously preparing the army, Schwartz wonders if he had misjudged Young Master Su Li all along?

So, after a brief thought, he replied, ”You have a point, so I’ll accompany you to the slave market for a look. But I advise you not to have too high expectations; most slaves in the market are weak and small, hardly qualified as soldiers.”

As for training slaves into knights, Schwartz never even considered such a thing! How could these weak slaves possibly have enough vitality to awaken their bloodline?

Su Li was full of confidence, riding a warhorse sent by an attendant with Schwartz, heading straight for Bauhinia Town at the foot of the mountain.

The Longtooth Trading Company’s caravan is stationed on the outskirts of Bauhinia Town. Upon seeing Su Li and Schwartz riding tall horses directly toward the caravan station, the steward at the entrance immediately knew a big transaction was coming.

He warmly approached them. Seeing the Bauhinia Clan Emblem on Su Li’s chest, he smiled and said, ”You must be the recently-renowned Young Master Su Li, right? I’m Alek Harvey, the steward of the Longtooth Trading Company. Please let me warmly welcome your arrival.”

Su Li jumped off the horse, looked at him and asked, ”How does everyone talk about me?”

”Uh...” Alek hesitated, unable to tell the truth. He immediately forced a laugh, saying, ”Everyone says you are an ambitious noble. Please, come inside. You definitely need a batch of slaves, right? I happen to have some gladiators that will surely meet your needs.”

”Are there female gladiators?”

Alek laughed heartily and said, ”Yes! Of course! I just happen to have two female gladiators, guaranteed to satisfy you!”

”Bring someone over, quickly bring the female gladiators here for Young Master Su Li to see.”

Soon, two female gladiators in ragged linen clothes were brought over, one of whom was even topless, her dark body exposed to the air, the only aesthetic being a certain firmness.

Alek, however, introduced them as a treasure to Su Li, saying, ”These two are gladiators who participated in the Marle Castle duel selection; the dressed one is named Becki, skilled in using sword and shield. The one without clothes is a rare gem named Silla, skilled in charging with balls, very enchanting, guaranteed satisfaction.”

I don’t care what they’re called! Why isn’t Hilude Konsonia here!

Su Li’s face darkened entirely; this is a Champion Knight! He wouldn’t mind turning Longtooth Trading Company upside down if he couldn’t find her.

”Alek! I treated you as a friend, and you deceive me with such inferior goods?”

Alek, misunderstanding, sneered internally while maintaining a laugh externally, saying, ”Ah, Young Master Su Li is looking for that kind of gladiator! Yes, yes! Quickly bring that buxom girl up for Young Master Su Li to see.”

Following his instructions, two slave traders brought up a struggling young girl.

Alek chuckled wickedly, saying, ”This is a newly acquired slave, untouched by anyone, truly a wild colt, incredibly built and bosomy!”

Su Li promptly surveyed the broad-chested girl. Her eyes were bright, with short golden hair, somewhat ambiguous in temperament. Yet in stark contrast, her waist was slender while her chest was abundantly endowed, enough to bury Su Li’s entire face.

The beauty’s figure wasn’t Su Li’s current focus; just one thing mattered: ”What is your name?”

”Hilude! Hilude Konsonia.” She met Su Li’s gaze without any retreat.
