Rebirth of the Godly Prodigal

Door to Heaven, top level, large conference room.

Right at that moment, in the most luxurious large conference room in Door to Heaven which was more than 600 square meters in size, sat five people.

Sun Yuanzhou was surprisingly among the five. He, however, was only sitting at the bottom-most position. The identity of the other four people would soon be revealed.

The five magnates, each with immeasurable power and wealth and the ability to control almost everything in the Heavenly State, were all present!

There was a special name for such meetings—The Magnates’ Meeting.

“Yuanzhou, how is the matter getting along now?” One of them was a middle-aged man in his fifties. He looked very ordinary in an over-sized white singlet and shorts that could be commonly bought at roadside stalls. Wearing a pair of chunky plastic slippers, with one foot on the conference table, he said, “This time we are making a big move, no one should make any mistakes.”

The person who spoke was Wen Jianan, CEO of Jianan Real Estate, a giant consortium in China. He seemed to be an ordinary citizen, but only those really in the upper echelon knew that this seemingly common-looking man was the richest person in the country with total assets of 160 billion!

“Everything is going well at the moment.” Sun Yuanzhou said with a smile in response to Wen Jianan. “The members of the inner circle were very easy to fool. When they heard that three of us were supporting Qian Guangzhao, they all promised to impeach Hong Weiguo when the time comes.”

“Yes, the impeachment of Hong Weiguo is the most important step in our plan.” Wen Jianan nodded and said, “This is the beginning of everything. This step must be done right. Nothing must go wrong. Impeach Hong Weiguo and completely encircle and suppress the Hong, Liu, and Mu Families. Everything that comes after will be easy. By the way, does Hong Weiguo know about our plan?”

“Not yet.” Sun Yuanzhou shook his head. “It’s best if only the five of us know about this matter. At the most, the only other person who knows is the Bureau Chief, Wu Di. No one else knows about this matter.”

“Yes, top-secret matters should not be known to a third person.” Wen Jianan laughed. “There are already five people here. Any more than this and even I can’t guarantee that there will be no leaks.”

Right then, another magnate asked, “Old Wen, once the encirclement starts, it cannot be stopped. I’m just afraid that the traitor Qian Guangzhao might go overboard and get someone to assassinate Hong Weiguo. If any news of this leaks out, there will be trouble. If the act becomes reality, even with our power and position, we might not be able to come out unscathed.”

“We have to take note of that.” Wen Jianan frowned and thought about it. Then, he said in agreement, “What you said makes sense. If the big traitor gets impatient and acts on his own accord, if anything goes wrong, we will be in trouble. So,” Wen Jianan said to another magnate, “Old Yang, you are indicating a neutral position now, right?”

The magnate named Old Yang nodded and said, “Yes. According to the plan, I am supposed to be the neutral party, unbiased to either side.”

“Good.” Wen Jianan shook his leg as he said, “Find a chance to remind Hong Weiguo to pay attention to safety. It’s best if we can arrange some people to be on his side. He’s the center of our entire plan. Right, his wife, Lan Ruoxi, as well as the Mu and Liu Families. Remind those at the Door to Heaven. Those not here, arrange for some people to protect them. If anything happens to them, with Hong Dali’s protective nature, things are bound to happen.”

“No problem.” Old Yang nodded his head in agreement.

“Old Wen,” Sun Yuanzhou spread his hands and asked curiously, “I always feel that our plan is a little fantastical, will it really work?”

Hearing that, the others were curious as well. Within this plan, nothing seemed connected to reality. Once the impeachment of Hong Weiguo began, the rest of the plan did not seem to require their involvement. All they had to do after that was to let nature take its course.

Could that really work? They were all at the helm of giant consortia. They had always believed in materialism and the most they did was to worship Lord Guan. This time, things had exceeded their imagination. In fact, it was completely out of their realm of understanding.

Was this world really that amazing?

“To be honest, I don’t have much confidence.” Wen Jianan smiled. He lit a cigarette and took a puff. “We may not be able to pull this off, but Hong Dali that super prodigal will definitely be able to! Hehe. To be honest, whenever Hong Dali is mentioned, it amuses me.”

“Haha, that’s true.” Sun Yuanzhou and the others laughed. He said, “This little prodigal is really too amazing.”

“Now, what we need to do is to wait for Hong Dali to move further ahead.” Wen Jianan said with a smile. “At that time, this Chamber of Commerce meeting will get very exciting. I heard that previously when the brat Hong Dali proved everyone wrong during his family meeting, it was rather exciting too. I have no idea what will happen this time. To be honest, I’m quite looking forward to it!”

“Hahaha, that’s true. I’ve heard others talking about it.” The other four people also laughed. “When the time comes, things are going to be much more exciting when coupled with our plan.””Yes, yes. I just wonder how much of an impact this will make.””I guess it will not just affect our Heavenly State. It should cause some ripples in the rest of the world, too.””Is this the saying: ‘A prodigal tortures the earth’?”

Everyone laughed about it for a while before Wen Jianan tapped the table. “Okay, let’s prepare for it now. Remember that anything could go wrong. Only those by Hong Dali’s side are safe, everyone else must make sure they stay safe. The brat is very protective of those around him. When Yuanzhou provoked Hong Weiguo previously, Spiritual Sword was destroyed in just a few days. This time we are not just provoking them, we are dancing on the tip of the blade. If anything goes wrong, it would not be just a small matter of losing a few billion yuan.”

“Yes!””Understood!””Yes, we must be careful.”

…

Merika, Hexagon Building.

“Minister Salon, according to the latest news, Hong Dali has already taken the aircraft carrier out to sea. He’s currently in the Yellow Sea.” In Salon’s office, the new female secretary was reporting the latest news.

After the strange incident that happened before, Salon still felt an unusual taste in his mouth. That’s why lemon juice was now his favorite. “Alright, you may leave. We will study it first.”

After the secretary left, Minister of National Defense Itra leaned back on the sofa and hugged himself, saying, “Hong Dali is still living a good life at the moment. The bastard gets some unexpected gains every time he does something. I really wish I could kill him now. The problem is that they have not left the Heavenly State’s waters yet, so it’s difficult for me to act.”

“That doesn’t matter.” Salon took another sip of lemon juice. He said, “Sooner or later, he will leave their waters. This brat was never calculating or manipulative and will simply go wherever he thinks is fun. He’s definitely not just planning to cruise around the Heavenly State, I think it won’t be long before he leaves the Heavenly State’s waters. Out in the sea, even if his Mechanical Holy Garment is powerful, it won’t matter. He can’t fly, after all.”

“Yes, that’s right.” Itra thought for a moment and suddenly asked, “Oh right, have our people managed to contact the mercenaries?”

“Contacted.” Salon slowly said, “We have provided nearly 200 million worth of armaments and promised that as long as they kill Hong Dali, they can have the aircraft carriers that Hong Dali bought. Anyway, it’s no concern of ours how they end up. Once Hong Dali dies, it won’t matter how much the Heavenly State favors him. By then, re-establishing a good relationship with us will be their primary concern. It will be okay to let them rage for a while. Right,” Salon suddenly asked, “In the middle of September, the leader of Heavenly State will be visiting us. How are your preparations getting along?”

“They are all the latest weapons.” Itra suddenly laughed when he mentioned this. “Hong Dali might have created a robotic suit of armor, but our army won’t lose out. We have many shockingly powerful new concept weapons. It’s not an exaggeration to say that, with the exception of nuclear weapons, Merika remains the country with the most powerful armaments in the world. That’s an indisputable fact.”

“That’s good.” Salon laughed. “Even if the Heavenly State has Hong Dali, we won’t necessarily lose to them. Right, when Hong Dali leaves Heavenly State’s waters, we shall hold a joint military field exercise with Jaban. That will put pressure on Heavenly State. We will distract them before secretly sending troops disguised as mercenaries. Everything will be easy then.”

“Of course, that’s what we will do.”

…

The world, Indonesian archipelago.

Countless mercenaries were hidden in the thousands of islands. These mercenaries were willing to do anything as long as they were given money. Smuggling, drug trafficking, murder, and even attacking the governments of small countries. There was nothing in the world they didn’t dare to do.

At that moment, on one of the islands in the Indonesian archipelago, a mysterious Merikan was talking to one of the mercenary leaders. They were in a small, secret meeting room. There were four people: one Merikan, one mercenary leader, and two bodyguards with submachine guns—they were from the mercenary side.

“Hey man, you Merikans have always been unreliable.” The mercenary leader crossed his legs and fiddled with the pistol in his hand. With a toothpick in his mouth, he smiled and said, “We can risk our lives for you, but we first need to see what benefits we are getting. I will not enter into a contract where we are on the losing end. You should know that very well. If you dare to lie to me, I will not hesitate to throw you into the sea to feed the sharks!”
