Rebirth of the Godly Prodigal

Who would have thought that the beautiful lady he tried to hit on was an assassin? What was more amazing was, this assassin was snatched away by Hong Dali, and he would bring her on board the aircraft carrier the next day.

It was clear there was an 80% chance that this beautiful assassin was there for Hong Dali…

Lucifer took a deep breath. He was inviting a wolf to his house—of course, himself too. Wahahaha. There should be fun onboard the aircraft carrier tomorrow!

“Just that I don’t know what Christina and Levis’ profile is.” Lucifer touched his chin and thought for a while. “Well, according to their aliases, Diamond K and Heart Q, they should belong to the higher level in the assassins’ organization. Other than Joker, they should be one of the highest? I wonder if there’s a Heart Ace?”

Top class assassin duo, in addition to his hidden hacker house, in addition to the unfeeling prodigal, Hong Dali, in addition to Lin Chuyin, a technology geek without emotions…

“I like this…” Lucifer grinned. “I didn’t get busy for nothing today, haha.”

Now that he understood the people involved, what was left for Lucifer to do was pack his own luggage. Of course, there was nothing much to pack, just one or two sets of clothes. He checked his smartphone and the USB containing his various hacker programs. That was it.

…

Time flew past quickly. The next day, just after sunrise, a large group of people gathered at Chenhui Building.

The lineup was unprecedented. Hong Dali held his little tiger Quentin with his left hand and Samoyed Xiaoxiao with his right hand. Tang Muxin had Little Meow in her arms. Lin Chuyin held on to the mechanical arm Running Dog… Well, that could be considered a pet as well.

Li Nianwei held a small suitcase with her sunglasses on. Ling Xiaoyi led nine lackeys, along with big and small pieces of luggage on the ground.

Lucifer had Mu Yunyun with him, Christina with Levis, the Bureau Chief wore a trench coat, looking cool to the max.

Hong Dali’s classmates wore all sorts of clothing and carried all sorts of bags…

“Young Master Dali, this is my brother Levis. Can he come along?” Christina tugged on Levis’ sleeve as she spoke to Hong Dali. “He was a sailor two years ago, he will definitely not trouble everyone.”

“Ah, really?” Hong Dali’s eyes lit up. “That’s good! We don’t have a captain on the craft yet. He can be the captain, then. Hahaha! Whatever I need just comes along!”

Lucifer, who was watching Hong Dali from the side, mumbled, “You’re really dumb. Who said it was good not to be scheming…”

The Bureau Chief took a second look at Levis but did not find anything amiss. Just that this Levis was quite tall, about 1.95 meters.

Of course, it’s one thing to feel, another thing to take action. In any case, when they boarded the aircraft carrier, more precautions would be taken.

“Dali ah, see if everyone has arrived.” The Bureau Chief asked Hong Dali to verify again. “If we have to turn back after we set off it’d be troublesome.”

“En, let me see…” Hong Dali looked right and left, then smacked his head. “Aiya, I almost forgot something important!” He turned to Lin Chuyin and said, “Chuyin, did we not move our laboratory over?”

Lin Chuyin nodded. “Uh, not yet.”

Hong Dali: “Ah, get the laboratory into the aircraft carrier. That way, it’d be easy to research on anything!”

“Rascal!” The Bureau Chief was going crazy. “Forget about the laboratory. Just bring the equipment! Otherwise, it’ll take ages to get to the aircraft carrier!”

“That won’t do!” Hong Dali sniffled and said, “We need to continue our research even when we’re at sea. The laboratory isn’t very big, Uncle Chief, hehehehe…”

Alright, looking at the little rascal’s expression, he knew he must be up to something. The Bureau Chief touched the back of his head helplessly. “I’ll get someone to transport it over. Let’s go first. Get on the helicopter. It’ll take about one hour.”

Other than the laboratory, everyone was present. They prepared to set off.

Beijin port was located at the intersection of Jingjin City area and Bohai Economic Rim. It was the maritime portal to the capital, Tianjing. The second-largest foreign trade port of the Heavenly State, the important node connecting the two “Silk Roads” at sea and on land. And the link connecting Northeast Asia and Central and Western Asia. Beijin Port was the world’s highest artificial deepwater port. At present, the water depth of the main channel had reached -22.0 meters, and ships up to 300,000-ton could ride on the tide to enter and exit the port.

The two aircraft carriers that Hong Dali bought were docked here.

Looking down from the helicopter’s window, the two aircraft carriers could be seen docked at the deepwater area of Beijin port. Both aircraft carriers he bought were of the same model. They were docked about 200 meters apart by the shore.

On the helicopter, Hong Dali appeared pleased as he looked upon the two aircraft carriers. He laughed and asked, “Uncle Chief, these two aircraft carriers, if compared to Merika’s newest aircraft carriers, is the different big?”

Although there was no intention of fighting wars, he was curious. How different were these two aircraft carriers and Merika’s most advanced aircraft carriers? If the difference was not big, he could do some research to catch up to their technology…

En, he had a beautiful wish…

“The difference…” The Bureau Chief couldn’t bear to let Hong Dali’s confidence take a hit. “Just know that there is no weaponry on your aircraft carriers. The rest… don’t ask. The difference is rather huge…”

“It’s okay if there’s a big difference.” Hong Dali asked, “Tell me. Anyway, I’m not intending to go to war.”

“Alright.” As the Chief of the National Security Bureau, he naturally knew about the specifications of the Merika aircraft carriers. “The most advanced aircraft carrier of the Merika Navy is the Ford. The Ford-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier No. 1—it’s the second generation of Merika Navy. Its biggest feature is that it’s equipped with the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch. This aircraft carrier uses a variety of advanced technologies. For example, the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System, the new high-power Integrated Nuclear Reactor Strip Power Distribution System, the Active Phased Array Radar, the Carrier-Based Laser Defense System, the Information Rasterisation Aircraft Carrier, and other related carrier-use advanced technology. Together with the F-35 Carrier-Based Fighter, it’s the most powerful aircraft carrier to date.”

“Oh…” Hong Dali let out a long “oh.” He then asked, “How about my aircraft carriers?”

“Your aircraft carriers…” The Bureau Chief shrugged his shoulders. “The body, and the old nuclear power engine… are passable… The rest, nothing much.”

Why else would Merika sell it? Plainly said, these two aircraft carriers were empty steel shells…

“Well, that’s okay.” Hong Dali was not too surprised. This was good enough. He didn’t expect for Merika to sell him something good, anyway. He liked its shape—how beautiful it looks, much better than a yacht!

“Actually, the most important thing in an aircraft carrier is its equipment and system.” The Bureau Chief puckered his lips and said, “The shell isn’t worth much… Alright, we’re here. Let’s prepare to alight.”

Soon, the helicopter hovered over the top of one of the aircraft carriers. The aircraft carrier was indeed convenient, they could easily allow the descent of a helicopter or plane there…

After alighting the helicopter, the Bureau Chief smiled and said, “Dali ah, give this aircraft carrier a name. It’s yours, after all. It needs a striking name, right?”

“Big Fish!” Hong Dali blurted out the name. “That’s its name!”

“Big… Big Fish…” The Bureau Chief stared in bewilderment. “The other one…”

“Second Fish!” Hong Dali nodded, pleased with himself. “If it flies, we’ll call it Big Bird!”

Big Fish, Second Fish… the names were so unreliable! The Bureau Chief was going crazy. “That’s an aircraft carrier! Aircraft carrier! And you gave it such a name?!”

“Yes!” Hong Dali shamelessly admitted. “The names are simple and easy to remember!”

Forget it, I’m wasting my breath talking to him! The Bureau Chief turned his head decisively. “Little rascal, you are fooling around like that. Aircraft carrier ah, with such a name. Big Fish, Second Fish… Aye…”

At that moment, the others had also alighted the helicopter. Hong Dali’s classmates ran all over the deck, cheering as they ran. “Wahahahaha! It’s really an aircraft carrier! Big Bro Dali is amazing!” “I’m also someone who can be on board an aircraft carrier, wahahahaha!”

Tang Muxin excitedly rushed to Hong Dali’s side. She smiled and said, “Dali, this aircraft carrier is really not bad. How do you intend to transform it?”

This thing was empty. Just a big wide deck. Although planes could take off from it, when there were no planes, it looked bare. Hong Dali looked around and touched his chin. “Well, how to transform this. It’s a problem. Should I make it more green and environment-friendly, or more sci-fi style? What a headache…”

“Har?!” Hearing that, Tang Muxin was stunned. “Dali, this is an aircraft carrier! Green and environment-friendly?”

Have you heard of making an aircraft carrier green and environmentally friendly? The people present have never heard of it.

“I got it!” Hong Dali’s eyes lit up. “One green and environment-friendly, one sci-fi style. Wahahahaha! It was smart of me to buy two aircraft carriers at once!”

The Bureau Chief was speechless. “Rascal, I understand if you want to transform the aircraft carrier to look more sci-fi. But green and environment-friendly… are you going to grow a forest on it?!”

Growing a forest on the aircraft carrier, just thinking of it made one shudder.

“How could I grow trees? It doesn’t suit my status!” What was unthinkable was, Hong Dali decisively shook his head. “What I am thinking is to make this aircraft carrier like a small island. Grow a few coconut trees, dig a swimming pool, and make a beach. That’s more interesting.”

Everyone stared in bewilderment.

Transform an aircraft carrier into a man-made island?! Plant coconut trees, dig a swimming pool, and make a beach?!

They had heard of people squandering, but not to such an extent!
