Deep Space Scavenging, Hand Over Alien Warships at the Beginning

Chapter 70 Ghosts in the Deep Sea”Command Center, this is Lin Yuan. I have successfully arrived at the designated waters. The ”ghost” is in good condition and is resisting the deep-sea pressure. The target below, the deep sea 20000, has been locked on.”

Lin Yuan’s voice was clearly transmitted back to the Command Center on Earth.

”Received!” Academician Wang’s voice immediately responded, carrying a hint of nervousness and excitement. ”Lin Yuan, maintain the highest level of stealth! How is the effect of the Spatial Lens Force Field? Has it been affected by the high-pressure environment of the deep sea?”

”Report to Academician Wang, the force field is operating stably, and the stealth effect is perfect.” Lin Yuan replied.

He ”looked” at his own machine. Under the influence of the Spatial Lens Force Field, an absolute ”transparent” zone formed around the ”ghost”. All light, even the light from the submersible’s searchlights, would be perfectly distorted and bypassed when hitting this area, as if nothing existed there.

From the outside, there was only a patch of seawater that looked slightly blurry due to the slight spatial distortion caused by the force field.

For a place like the deep sea, which already has chaotic light and complex water currents, this degree of distortion would not attract any attention at all.

”Great!” In the Command Center, the experts from the Technology Department all breathed a sigh of relief.

What they were most worried about was the force field failing under high pressure. Now it seemed that the technology of the Eternal Flower civilization was indeed not just for show.

”The submersible below is currently performing operations and has not discovered our presence.” Lin Yuan continued to report the situation.

He silently manipulated the ”ghost”, slowly descending and approaching the silvery-white ”rice cooker”.

Distance, one hundred meters.

Eighty meters.

Fifty meters.

...

In the cockpit of the deep sea 20000.

The pilot, Yamamoto, was crossing his legs, drinking nutrient solution while admiring the ”masterpiece” he had created.

”Sato, zoom in the external camera a bit more! Yes, right on our flag! I want everyone in the world to see clearly how magnificent the Sun Flag of our Great Sun Empire is!”

”Hai!”

The technician named Sato, although still feeling a bit uneasy in his heart, followed the order and operated the joystick.

On the screen, the image of that flag was continuously enlarged, becoming clearer and clearer.

And none of them knew that less than thirty meters above their heads, a black ”ghost” from another dimension, like a god of death, was watching them with a cold, emotionless gaze.

Lin Yuan looked at the submersible close at hand, and felt a wave of emotion.

One had to admit that the industrial technology of Little Sun really had some skills. This submersible, with its smooth design and excellent workmanship, was clearly built with a lot of resources.

”It’s a pity, they chose the wrong tech tree.” Lin Yuan curled his lips in his heart. ”You are still playing with ’diving’, but your grandpa here has already started playing with ’teleportation’.”

He was not in a hurry to make a move.

He was waiting.

Waiting for the best opportunity.

Waiting for the moment when the eyes of the whole world were focused here.

...

Little Sun Country, Tokyo.

In the studio of the National TV Station, the atmosphere was heated to the extreme.

”Dear audience! Good evening, everyone! Right now, we are broadcasting live for you the first deep-sea flag-planting operation conducted by our country’s deep sea 20000 on the continental shelf of the East Sea!”

A female host with an exquisite hairstyle and wearing a gorgeous kimono was explaining with passion in an extremely excited tone toward the camera.

”Everyone can see! Under the control of our hero, Mr. Yamamoto, the flag of our Great Sun Empire has been steadily planted on this rich seabed! This is a historic moment! This marks that our Great Sun Empire has already walked at the forefront of the world in the field of deep-sea exploration!”

In the studio, the several so-called ”experts” invited were also echoing.

”That’s right! The significance of this operation is extremely important! It not only demonstrates our world-leading deep-sea technology, but more importantly, it declares our existence to certain countries that have been making unreasonable sovereignty claims in this sea area!”

”Well said! We are conducting peaceful scientific exploration! No country has any reason to interfere with this! The protest from Great Xia Country is unreasonable and ineffective!”

The entire studio was immersed in a kind of self-indulgent, pathological fanaticism.

And in front of the TV sets, countless citizens of Little Sun Country were also infected by this emotion, each of them watching with boiling blood, as if they had really become the masters of the world.

...

Eagle Sauce, The Pentagon.

”General, the coast guard ship of Great Xia Country has stopped ten nautical miles away from the ”Kuroshio”, and there is no further action.”

”Their Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strongly worded protest statement, but... that is all.”

The intelligence officer reported.

”Hmph, I knew it.” The four-star old general smiled contemptuously. ”A bunch of cowards who can only engage in lip service.”

He picked up his coffee and took a sip, feeling it was dull.

This ”game” tacitly approved by him seemed about to end blandly with a complete victory for Little Sun.

So boring.

He was even ready to change the channel to watch a football game.

Just at this moment!

An anomaly occurred.

In the cockpit of the deep sea 20000.

”Hmm? It’s here again!”

Sato, who was in charge of sonar, jumped up from his seat again!

This time, the expression on his face was no longer confusion, but horror!

”What’s wrong?! Making a fuss again!” Yamamoto roared impatiently.

”No! Mr. Yamamoto! This time it’s different!” Sato’s voice was trembling. ”All sensors! All of them! They are all alarming!”

”Look! Magnetometer! The reading is soaring abnormally!”

”Gravimeter! The needle is swinging wildly!”

”And... and the thermal imager! Directly above us... a... a huge, low-temperature... void has appeared!”

Upon hearing this, Yamamoto was also shocked.

He hurriedly switched the screen of the main display.

He saw that on the external environmental monitoring interface of the submersible, the readings representing various physical parameters were jumping and flashing in a completely incomprehensible way!

It was as if an invisible giant hand was randomly manipulating the most fundamental physical laws of this universe around them!

”This... what is going on?!” Yamamoto was also panicked. ”Is an undersea volcano about to erupt?!”

”No... none of that!” Sato stared fixedly at the screen, his face pale as paper. ”These... these data, they don’t look like natural phenomena at all! It’s more like... it’s more like...”

He wanted to say it was more like something was starting an engine with unimaginable power right next to them.

But he dared not say it.

Because it was too absurd.

And just when they were in a panic.

Lin Yuan made his move.

He looked at the flag that was particularly dazzling under the searchlights, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

”That’s about it, the audience from all over the world is here, right?”

”Then next, it’s time to witness a miracle.”

His mind moved.

The ”nanocluster plasticity tool arm” on the ”ghost” that was flashing with a metallic luster silently extended from under the fuselage.

It did not turn into a light sword, nor did it turn into a particle cannon.

Instead, it turned into a... incomparably flexible... mechanical hand with five fingers.

In the deep sea 20000, without the two pilots noticing at all.

This mechanical hand from another civilization reached out towards that flag which represented the so-called ”glory” of Little Sun Country...

The flag.
