Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

After boarding the aircraft, Kiana finally gave up struggling.

“Squad Leader, what kind of mission is this that requires you to bring me along?” Kiana asked somewhat dejectedly, because going on a mission meant she couldn’t eat the delicious food Mei made for her.

“It’s an intelligence gathering mission, and bringing you along is to attract the attention of others,” Fu Hua said, giving the reason provided in the mission brief.

“But if it’s about attracting attention, Elysia can do it too, right? Elysia is much prettier than me!” Kiana said, pointing at Elysia.

“Oh, I love hearing that!” Elysia directly changed seats, sat next to Kiana, and then pulled Kiana into her embrace.

“Elysia and I, we two will collect intelligence; you just need to have a good time at the mission location.”

“Squad Leader would be so kind?” Kiana lifted her head from Elysia’s embrace.

“No way, Squad Leader, you must have other plans, you’re not going to sell me, are you?!” Kiana said in horror.

“How could we possibly sell such a cute Kiana?” Elysia gently tapped Kiana’s overthinking little head.

“When we get there, you just need to act normally and have fun; the rest you can leave to Hua and me.”

“Then you two aren’t allowed to lose me,” Kiana pouted.

“We won’t lose you, don’t worry, Kiana, don’t you trust your Elysia anymore?”

Saying this, Elysia even reached out her hand, pretending to wipe away tears, “This is truly too heartbreaking for Elysia.”

“No, it’s just that it’s too suspicious that you insist on bringing me on your mission!” Kiana quickly said.

While Kiana was comforting Elysia, she didn’t see the corner of Elysia’s mouth curl up.

Elysia’s hand behind Kiana’s back secretly made an ‘ok’ gesture.

Fu Hua, in response, merely sighed slightly; Kiana had completely fallen into Elysia’s psychological grasp.

They arrived at the mission location, the Queen Hotel in Singapore.

All three of them had changed into cheongsams.

Now, the three of them were tourists visiting Singapore.

They checked into the Queen Hotel.

When they arrived at the Queen Hotel, the sky had only just begun to darken, and the moon had just appeared in the sky.

As soon as they entered the hotel, the three of them headed straight for the dinner area.

Looking at the various delicacies on the table, Kiana ran directly to the table, picked up an empty plate, and started piling up tempting food.

“This looks delicious, and this too!” Kiana said, filling her plate and eating at the same time.

Elysia and Fu Hua looked at Kiana like this, exchanged glances, and both showed a slight smile.

Both of them held a cup in their hands, though the drinks in the cups were different.

They silently followed behind Kiana, like older sisters watching over their younger sister to make sure she didn’t get lost.

“Squad Leader, Elysia, aren’t you eating?” Kiana asked, holding up a chicken leg.

“We just finished eating before coming here; if we eat more, Elysia will get fat,” Elysia took a sip of the juice in her cup. “So Kiana can just eat by herself, no need to worry about the two of us.”

“Yes, for this mission, you just need to have fun; you can leave the mission to the two of us,” Fu Hua said, picking up a pastry from the table and handing it to Kiana.

“Really? Thank you, Squad Leader, for bringing me here; there’s so much good food!” Kiana directly ate the pastry Fu Hua gave her in one bite, then continued her battle with the delicacies.

But Kiana didn’t notice that Elysia and Fu Hua had disappeared from behind her at some point.

“Hua, someone is monitoring this area over there,” Elysia quietly said to Fu Hua, standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the scenery outside.

“Hmm, it should be Anti-Entropy’s arrangement,” Fu Hua took a sip of the red wine in her cup.

After a while, Fu Hua directly finished the red wine in one gulp and then handed the cup to Elysia.

A blush also appeared on Fu Hua’s face.

Then Fu Hua walked towards the bald man standing by the elevator, monitoring them.

“Um, I don’t know what I ate in the restaurant, but my stomach suddenly hurts so much; could you help me to the restroom?” Fu Hua said, clutching her stomach and pretending to be weak to the bald bodyguard.

“Okay, okay, no problem,” The bald bodyguard then supported Fu Hua by the arm and walked towards the restroom.

Elysia saw this scene out of the corner of her eye and didn’t know what to say; she hadn’t expected Fu Hua to actually pretend to be weak.

Although she was somewhat shocked to see Fu Hua like this, Elysia still infiltrated all the communication and surveillance equipment within the entire hotel.

Leaning on the railing, Elysia watched Fu Hua, who had changed clothes, through the surveillance and said through the communication, “Hua, you should know which floor the target is on, right?”

“Yes, the target is on the 36th floor,” Fu Hua stood in front of the elevator, waiting for it to arrive at their floor.

“The security on the 36th floor is still very strict, Hua, be careful; there are some robots on the 36th floor,” Elysia said, sensing the unusual things she had infiltrated.

“Robots? It seems Anti-Entropy has really invested a lot.”

“Yes, but they are self-destructing robots; the 36th floor might be a trap,” Elysia looked at an old man approaching Kiana.

From this old man, she had found something very interesting: a Honkai Energy antibody potion, and according to experimental records, it could weaken Emperor-Class Honkai Beasts and even suppress people on the verge of transforming into Honkai Zombie.

Truly a powerful invention; so, he is the target of this mission.

“Hua, the mission target seems to have appeared next to Kiana.”

“Is that so, Elysia? You two be careful over there; I’m going to the 36th floor to see what kind of trap Anti-Entropy has set for us,” Fu Hua said, walking into the elevator and pressing the button for the 36th floor.

She looked at a blank surveillance spot on the 36th floor, and the self-destructing robots she had infiltrated within that surveillance range.

“Okay, then you be careful too, Hua.”

“Mm.”

As the elevator ascended, it quickly reached the 36th floor.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, the bodyguards standing by the elevator looked over.

“Wait! Who are you! Stand still!” A bodyguard immediately pulled out a pistol and pointed it at Fu Hua.

But then they seemed to receive some information, “Yes, received.”

“Apologies, we didn’t recognize the special agent; we were too nervous,” The bodyguard holding the gun put it away and then bowed to Fu Hua.

Fu Hua looked at him and went along with it, saying, “It’s alright, being vigilant is correct, after all, we need to protect the target, continue with your mission.”

“Yes!” x2 The two bodyguards returned to their positions on either side of the elevator.

After walking a little further, Elysia’s voice finally came through the communication, “Hua, it seems these bodyguards are also very professional.”

“Yes, very professional. Did you just infiltrate their internal communication?” Fu Hua asked as she walked.

“Yes, after all, Hua, you chose me to accompany you on the mission, so of course I have to play a role!”

“Thank you.”

“Oh, what’s there to thank? The target is right next to you now.”

Fu Hua looked at the door in front of her and knocked on it.
