Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

After jumping into the sea, Elysia let go of Fu Hua’s hand.

After all, the coordinates indicated a location very deep below the surface of the sea.

The two waited for Himeko for a moment, and once Himeko arrived, the three of them used auxiliary swimming devices to begin their descent.

The surrounding environment grew darker and darker.

Then, the three opened the searchlights they had brought down, and as the searchlights turned on, the surrounding environment instantly brightened somewhat.

Looking at the surrounding reefs, the three confirmed that the communication channel was still usable, then split up to explore in different directions.

According to Xiao Xuan, Qi You’s body, Jiuyou, was swallowed whole by Qi You.

This also indicated that Qi You’s body must be incredibly large.

They might currently be on Qi You’s body.

But they needed to find Qi You’s mouth, or perhaps its nose.

In short, they needed to find a passage that could lead into Qi You’s body.

After all, Qi You had not truly died; if it had, it wouldn’t be this troublesome.

They could just bore a hole directly into the ground.

Soon, Elysia found a strange place.

There were many evenly distributed reefs here, rising upwards like something growing on a body.

After speaking into the communication device and sending her location, Elysia began to swim in the direction the reefs extended.

If these reefs were Qi You’s spine, then by following the spine, they would eventually find Qi You’s head or tail.

Fortunately, Elysia’s luck was still good; she didn’t swim in the wrong direction.

Looking at the giant, upward-curving reef below.

Reefs of this shape would not appear in the sea.

Soon, Elysia saw a cave entrance.

After using a detector to scan the entrance and confirming the Honkai Energy reaction, Elysia determined that this entrance was passable.

After sending the coordinates to Fu Hua and Himeko, Elysia waited there for a while.

Looking at the surrounding scenery.

Elysia hadn’t expected that this entrance wasn’t that far from the surface of the sea.

At the very least, sunlight could penetrate the sea and reach this place.

There were also some fish swimming around.

Elysia extended her hand, and a fish swam to her hand.

Elysia poked it a few times, and the fish wasn’t afraid.

Just as Elysia was letting her guard down, the fish suddenly opened its mouth and bit towards Elysia’s hand.

Then, a golden chain directly pierced through the fish, and after struggling a few times on the chain, the fish stopped moving.

Elysia stared blankly at the fish in front of her; only then did she see that beneath the fish’s scales was a grayish-white texture.

This was a characteristic only Honkai Beasts possessed.

With the death of this fish, the surrounding school of fish also became agitated.

Fish after fish rushed towards Elysia, and among them were some squids and octopuses with barbs on their tentacles.

However, the squids and octopuses no longer had any semblance of disguise; one glance was enough to know they were Honkai Beasts.

As they swam, the disguise on the fish’s bodies slowly disappeared.

The Judah, which Elysia had always kept wrapped around her hand, also emitted light.

Chains extended from unknown places.

They methodically cleared out the surrounding Honkai Beasts one by one.

Elysia didn’t need to actively control it at all; Judah could identify surrounding enemy units on its own.

Himeko and Fu Hua, who were rushing towards Elysia, also found that some fish around them began to attack them when the Honkai Beasts near Elysia dropped their disguises.

Fortunately, by this time, they were not far from Elysia.

Soon, they arrived next to Elysia.

The three did not want to get entangled with these Honkai Beasts in such an open area, so they directly entered the cave entrance Elysia had found.

After entering the cave entrance, the Honkai Beasts behind them slowly dispersed.

They dared not enter the cave entrance at all.

The three also breathed a sigh of relief at this point, as they went deeper.

The three saw a thin membrane appear before them.

After passing the detector through the membrane and finding no issues, the three then passed through the membrane.

On the other side of the membrane, there was no seawater at all.

This place looked like a normal cave.

But such a location in the sea was inherently abnormal, so, had they already entered Qi You’s body?

After using the detector to measure the composition of the air, the three took off their masks, hanging them around their necks, ready to put them on at any time.

“It looks like this is inside Qi You’s body,” Elysia said, touching the wall beside her.

“Yes, I didn’t expect there to be no seawater here,” Himeko tried to contact Theresa, “The signal here is also very poor.”

Himeko finally managed to contact Theresa with great difficulty.

“Theresa, we have successfully entered Qi You’s body,” Himeko said, looking at the projection in front of her.

“Is… just… interrupted… nothing… right?” Looking at the intermittent projection, Himeko sighed; the signal was too poor.

Theresa’s side also discovered the problem, and as the signal enhancement device on the battleship was activated, the projection Elysia saw also became somewhat normal.

“There are no problems now, right?” Theresa on the projection said, propping her hands on the table.

“No problems, Theresa. We should have already entered Qi You’s body,” Himeko nodded, then turned the communicator around to let Theresa see their surroundings.

“It seems Qi You’s body blocks most of the signal,” Theresa nodded and said.

“Yes, according to the communication status, that’s the case, especially since we haven’t gone very deep yet,” Himeko said, looking at the seemingly very deep cave entrance in front of them.

“Then it seems it might be difficult to contact you easily later,” Theresa said with a frown.

“As of now, that’s the situation.”

Then, Himeko explained the Honkai Beasts they encountered at the entrance.

“Honkai Beasts under the sea? And they’re fish-type Honkai Beasts that haven’t been discovered before?” Theresa said in surprise.

“Yes, we never thought Honkai Beasts would have this type. It seems the Honkai Beast compendium will need to be updated,” Himeko said with a wry smile about the situation.

After all, the more types of Honkai Beasts there were, the harder they would be to deal with. Previously, they had always thought there were no Honkai Beasts under the sea, but now, alternative Honkai Beasts had directly appeared before them.

“So, that means Honkai Beasts might appear under the sea at any time. Do you want to come back right now?” Theresa said worriedly.

“What are you talking about, Theresa? We finally managed to get in. If we go back empty-handed now, wouldn’t that be a shame?” Himeko waved her hand and said.

“Besides, there’s no difference between us leaving now and leaving after exploring; we’ll both need external support,” Himeko looked at Elysia and Fu Hua.

Elysia walked directly to Himeko’s side, “Alright, Theresa, don’t worry. After all, Judah is in my hand, isn’t it? Don’t worry, once we’re done exploring, we’ll figure out how to get out then ♬~”

“Then you all be careful. Hyperion will keep the signal enhancement on to detect your signals,” Theresa said seriously.

“Okay, so if the communication can’t connect later, don’t worry too much. With Judah, the three of us can protect ourselves without any problem,” Elysia nodded and said.
