Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

Elysia leaned against the wall, letting out a sigh of relief.

“Let’s rest here briefly, then continue in that direction,” Himeko said, pointing at the floating fortress.

After speaking, Himeko also took down her greatsword and placed it against the wall.

Looking at the nearby wall, “I didn’t expect Shenzhou to have such defensive architecture so early,” Himeko remarked.

“It’s a pity, it was still destroyed by Honkai Beasts,” Himeko said, reaching out to touch the wall in front of her.

The wall was clearly built from individual stones, but they were cut very neatly.

Fu Hua stood beside Elysia, “Are you alright?”

“I’m fine. Luckily, I have Yudas Chains; otherwise, I might not have made it to this platform,” Elysia said, looking at Yudas Chains wrapped around her hand.

“It is indeed a very good weapon,” Fu Hua nodded and said.

“After all, Yudas Chains is a Divine Key,” Elysia said, leaning directly against the wall and sitting on the ground.

Elysia looked up at the glowing ceiling; she seemed to see a shadow flash across the top.

By the time Elysia blinked, a golden steel claw was reaching down towards her and Fu Hua.

“Hua! Be careful!” Elysia reached out to grab Fu Hua, intending to pull her away, but Fu Hua pulled Elysia’s hand and dodged to the side.

The steel claw directly struck the wall, leaving a deep mark on it.

Himeko, now holding her greatsword, swung it towards the owner of the claw.

The owner of this claw was a special Honkai Zombie, a Claw Honkai Zombie.

However, Claw Honkai Zombie itself was very agile, easily dodging Himeko’s attack.

After dodging, the Claw Honkai Zombie’s body slowly became transparent, then disappeared before them.

Himeko stood beside Elysia and the others, holding her weapon.

“There are still Honkai Zombie here, and special ones at that,” Himeko said, looking around vigilantly.

“We were just careless, Sister Himeko. After all, in History, Qi You directly devoured Jiuyou, which means the people within Jiuyou were also devoured,” Elysia said. Yudas Chains appeared around her, encircling her and protecting her in the middle of the chains.

“That’s right. After devouring so many people, and with such a high Honkai Energy concentration here, it’s not surprising for Honkai Zombie to appear,” Himeko said, using her greatsword to block an attack.

As Himeko retreated to absorb the force, Fu Hua also moved past Himeko’s body and attacked the Claw Honkai Zombie.

After taking a punch from Fu Hua, the Honkai Zombie rolled several times on the ground.

But then the Honkai Zombie’s form instantly disappeared.

At the same time, another Claw Honkai Zombie launched a sneak attack on Elysia from the other side.

The claw struck Yudas Chains, sparking some fire.

Then it was entangled by Yudas Chains.

Before the chains could tighten, the Honkai Zombie’s form instantly vanished.

It was then that they realized there wasn’t just one Honkai Zombie here.

Currently, two Claw Honkai Zombie with special abilities had appeared on this platform.

“They’re really troublesome,” Himeko said, looking at the empty platform.

“Yudas Chains, I’m counting on you!” After Elysia spoke, Yudas Chains immediately spread out in all directions.

To avoid the chains’ attack, the Honkai Zombie had no choice but to reveal its form.

They were then beaten to death by Fu Hua and Himeko.

Besides the two Claw Honkai Zombie they discovered, they also found Archer Honkai Zombie with bows and arrows at the top of the wall behind them.

On this platform, although they didn’t find many Honkai Zombie, they were all very troublesome ones.

After dealing with the Honkai Zombie, Elysia and the others finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“Sister Himeko, it seems the Honkai Zombie here are all very troublesome ones,” Elysia said, looking at the other platforms.

However, she didn’t see any other Honkai Zombie.

“Yes, those two Claw Honkai Zombie just now, if we hadn’t noticed them, we would have suffered greatly,” Himeko said, looking at the scratches on her weapon.

“But considering this place has existed in Qi You’s belly for so long, it’s not surprising for anything to appear,” Elysia sighed and said.

“Mm, so let’s keep moving. If we stay in a place like this for too long, there’s no telling what might happen,” Himeko re-shouldered her greatsword and walked to the edge of the platform.

Seeing Himeko’s actions, Fu Hua and Elysia also followed.

Because Himeko was right, it was better to explore this kind of place quickly and then leave.

Thousands of years of History, what else could possibly be here was truly impossible to determine.

During the subsequent journey, after several battles, Elysia and the others also discovered that platforms with Honkai Zombie always had traces of buildings.

After deliberately avoiding several platforms and taking a detour, Elysia and the others quickly approached the building suspended in the very center.

“Let’s adjust here, then go straight to that place in one go,” Himeko sat directly on the ground, beginning to relax her body to adjust her state.

Elysia and Fu Hua also sat directly on the ground to rest.

However, they only rested for a short while before the three stood up.

Because the current situation was not suitable for long rest; a brief rest to adjust their state was enough.

At the very least, they still needed to maintain their current state of tension.

Soon, they landed in front of the castle in the center.

This castle was indeed a complete castle, including city walls and gates.

As soon as Elysia and the others landed, arrows were shot at them.

Fu Hua directly reached out and swatted the arrows away.

Elysia also took out her bow and directly shot down the Honkai Zombie firing the arrows.

But then, two black attacks arced towards them.

After Elysia and the others dodged, two Honkai Zombie appeared where the two black shadows struck.

“Undead Honkai Zombie?” Elysia mumbled.

“Don’t mind them; just find their summoner!” Himeko said, running towards the city wall.

The previous attack had flown down from the top of the city wall.

So the summoners of these two Honkai Zombie were also on the city wall.

Elysia and Fu Hua also followed Himeko.

It was then that they noticed many more figures with bows and arrows on the city wall.

After a twitch of her mouth, “Fu Hua, I’ll throw you over!” Himeko stopped abruptly, then reached her hand back.

Fu Hua directly grabbed Himeko’s hand, and Himeko then threw Fu Hua like a javelin.

At the same time, Elysia controlled Yudas Chains to deflect the arrows shot at them.

In mid-air, Elysia also saw several black coffins still flying towards them.
