Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

“Since you’re willing to tell, then of course I want to hear it,” Durandal sat directly beside Su.

Subsequently, Su told Durandal the story of a girl from the Previous Era.

The Daughter of God.

After finishing the story, Su looked up at the sky of this World Bubble.

“Just as I couldn’t see through her thoughts back then, even now, I still can’t,” Su said with a nostalgic tone.

“So, in our era, has the Daughter of God you spoke of also appeared?” Durandal said with some surprise.

“Yes, she has joined this era in a way different from our own, from our epoch.”

“Although she’s a bit different from her original self, this is the first time I’ve seen her appear in all these years of observation.”

“I believe with your help and the help of her companions, you will completely eradicate Honkai.”

After he finished speaking, a fallen leaf slowly landed on Su’s hand.

Handing the fallen leaf to Durandal, Su stood up.

“Alright, my story is finished; the rest of the story is for you to walk yourselves.”

“I will help you control the power of the World Bubble within you; this is your reward for participating in the trial.”

The fallen leaf slowly merged into Durandal’s body, and the armor on Durandal’s body also transformed into a different appearance.

A Valkyrie wearing a white laurel wreath and golden armor.

“Now, you can use the power of the World Bubble within you to leave this place,” Su said to Durandal.

“What about you? Aren’t you leaving here?” Durandal looked at Su.

“Me? My mission is already complete; the Hengsha Project has finally found its final answer, so I should also leave.”

“To be able to find someone to entrust the Second Divine Key to before leaving is the greatest fortune.”

“Oh, and this too.”

Su reached out and caught another fallen leaf, and then this leaf was enveloped by green energy.

“Give this to your Lord Bishop, and tell him that it contains the information he desires and will be of some help to your future battles against Honkai.”

After Durandal took the fallen leaf, she said very solemnly, “Okay, I understand.”

Subsequently, Durandal activated the power of the World Bubble within her and left the place.

Returning to the real world, Rita immediately rushed up and hugged Durandal, “Lady Durandal!”

Durandal reached out and patted Rita’s back, “I’m fine, Rita.”

“Durandal, what happened during the time you disappeared?” Durandal looked at Otto, who was speaking.

Next to Otto, there were several virtual screens, and he was analyzing the World Bubble.

“I just witnessed the story of a pioneer,” Durandal looked up at the location of the World Bubble.

The World Bubble that occupied the starry sky was slowly sinking as Durandal looked up.

After this World Bubble disappeared, countless stars representing World Bubbles appeared again.

“Oh, Lord Bishop, that pioneer asked me to give this to you.”

Durandal handed the fallen leaf to Otto.

“A… leaf?” Otto reached out and took the leaf.

The moment he touched the leaf, he heard the message Su had left for him, “As the God you met said, the answer you seek is on the other side of the tree, and to reach it, you must first pass the trial of Honkai.”

Otto stared at the fallen leaf in his hand, stunned frozen in place.

In the World Bubble, Su leaned against a withered tree.

“My dear friend, this is the last time I’ll see you,” Su suddenly covered his mouth and coughed, a bright red mark appearing at the corner of his lips.

“It seems I won’t be able to hold on until I see you,” Su said with a bitter smile, looking at the crimson in his palm.

Then Su caught a fallen leaf, and within it, he left his memories and his answer.

“This leaf, I hope it can reach your hands.”

“Farewell, my dear friend.”

“I’m going to the afterlife to seek answers now.”

Subsequently, Su’s figure slowly disappeared along with the World Bubble.

Someone in the sea, as if sensing something, suddenly looked up; there should have been no concept of up or down here, but he still looked in that direction.

He saw a fallen leaf, and this fallen leaf was incredibly conspicuous in this space.

After reaching out and catching the fallen leaf.

“Is this your answer?”

“I received it.”

Then he carefully placed the fallen leaf into the pocket on his chest.
