Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

Mei and her group were among the first to come out.

Afterward, all the examinees gradually emerged from the Memory Battlefield.

However, some of them didn’t look too pleased.

Before long, only two people remained in the Memory Battlefield who had not yet taken their exam.

One was their very serious class monitor, Fu Hua, and the other was the gentle and adorable transfer student, Elysia.

Fu Hua was already an official Valkyrie, and although her rank wasn’t disclosed, she certainly wouldn’t be taking the exam with the students.

Elysia needed to undergo an assessment to become an official Valkyrie, so her assessment was also separate.

“Alright, it’s your two’s turn now.

Fu Hua, you go first and give Elysia a demonstration,” Himeko said with a smile, patting Fu Hua’s shoulder.

To be honest, she was very satisfied with Fu Hua as a student; she never had to worry about her, she learned quickly, and she could even help her teach.

“Understood, Teacher Himeko,” Fu Hua nodded, then walked toward the interior of the Memory Battlefield.

Because her specific rank was unknown, the data center assessed her based on the solo strength of a B-rank Valkyrie.

Originally, the assessment was planned for C-rank Valkyries, but Himeko changed the assessment target because, in her opinion, Fu Hua was already stronger than many B-rank Valkyries.

Facts proved that Himeko had still underestimated Fu Hua.

Inside the Memory Battlefield.

Fu Hua looked at the Honkai Zombie in front of her and walked straight past them with a poker face.

Upon reaching a certain distance, Fu Hua charged directly towards the Honkai Zombie’ position.

She casually parried the scythe that the Honkai Zombie swung down and used her other hand to fiercely strike the Honkai Zombie’ abdomen.

However, the Honkai Zombie were only pushed back and showed no other reaction; after all, Honkai Zombie are already dead and feel no pain.

Watching the Honkai Zombie charge again, Fu Hua slowly took a breath and struck a pose.

Facing the Honkai Zombie’ attacks, Fu Hua either dodged with the smallest movements or directly pushed the Honkai Zombie’ weapons aside with her hands.

At the same time, Fu Hua could attack various parts of the Honkai Zombie.

She appeared very capable and efficient.

The students outside, watching Fu Hua on the projection, couldn’t help but swallow.

In their eyes, the current Fu Hua was very handsome!

Yes, Fu Hua looked handsome, or rather, heroic.

Although she was usually very rigid and strict, seeing Fu Hua in combat now gave people a feeling of extreme reliability.

She was a suitable boyfriend, everyone thought.

Soon, the Honkai Zombie’ head fell to the ground after suffering multiple attacks.

Fu Hua raised her leg high and fiercely stomped down on the Honkai Zombie’ head.

Only after personally confirming that the Honkai Zombie’ body began to dissipate did Fu Hua turn and walk out of the arena.

And Fu Hua’s series of actions caused another wave of…

wailing?

among the students outside the arena.

When Fu Hua stepped out of the doorway, she saw a group of students staring at her outside, frowned, then looked down at herself.

Only after confirming that she hadn’t gotten any dirt on herself did she walk towards Himeko and the others.

And her actions once again drew the attention of many people.

Sure enough, the low marriage rate of Saint Freya graduates in the future also had a part to do with Fu Hua!

“You’re so handsome, Hua!

Look, all the classmates around you are watching you, and Elysia is attracted to you too ♬~” Elysia said with a smile.

Fu Hua nodded, “I wish you a smooth assessment.” Hearing Fu Hua’s baffling words, Elysia’s smile froze for a moment.

Sure enough, Hua is a blockhead!

Elysia whispered in her heart.

“Mm, then I’ll take your good wishes.

I hope Elysia can also resolve the target as handsomely as Hua ♬~” Elysia picked up the bow placed nearby.

“Teacher Himeko, then, it’s Elysia’s turn for the assessment now, right ♬~” Elysia walked to Himeko’s side and said.

“Mm, it’s your turn to take the official Valkyrie assessment now.

Be careful,” Himeko nodded.

“Then, Teacher Himeko, could you give Elysia a blessing ♬~” Elysia walked to Himeko’s side and said.

“A blessing?

Then I, your teacher, wish you a perfect passing of the assessment,” Himeko said seriously.

“Mm-hm, with that, Elysia is full of energy!” Then Elysia walked towards the assessment arena.

Upon entering the Memory Battlefield, Elysia immediately saw a Chariot-class Honkai Beast destroying the city in the distance, but with Elysia’s appearance, the Honkai Beast immediately changed direction and charged towards Elysia.

Elysia drew an arrow from her quiver, immediately drew her bowstring, and after predicting the data, shot directly towards the top of the Honkai Beast’s head.

Those outside, watching the direction of Elysia’s arrow, all thought she had made a mistake.

But then the Honkai Beast’s actions made them all gasp.

Because just as the arrow was about to reach the Honkai Beast, the Honkai Beast happened to jump up.

That arrow precisely struck the Honkai Beast’s skull.

However, the Honkai Beast’s forward leap was not interrupted by this arrow; its head merely shifted slightly due to the arrow’s impact.

Having already learned the Honkai Beast’s landing point through data, Elysia unhurriedly left the Honkai Beast’s landing area and detonated the arrow when the Honkai Beast was at its highest point.

From the projection outside, it looked as if the Honkai Beast was cooperating with Elysia’s performance.

Whether it was jumping up to catch the arrow, the high-altitude explosion, or the final landing.

It all seemed to be within Elysia’s expectations.

After the Honkai Beast landed, it kicked up a large cloud of dust, which surged towards Elysia.

Elysia unhurriedly notched another arrow, faced the direction in front of her, and released the bowstring without further aiming.

The wind carried by the arrow directly split the dust surging towards Elysia into two halves.

“Phew, that was close, Elysia almost turned into a dusty Elysia ♬~” Elysia patted her chest.

The students outside, watching Elysia’s maneuver, began to wonder, is Elysia really still human?

To be able to predict so perfectly.

Yes, Elysia’s arrow still hit the Honkai Beast precisely, but it only stuck into the Honkai Beast’s forelimb.

The explosion of the first arrow just now hadn’t weakened the Honkai Beast’s state much; only a part of its head was shattered, and its head was a bit blackened.

Elysia looked at the position of the second arrow and sighed in her heart.

The data of the Memory Battlefield had been interfered with; this Honkai Beast was now being taken over by another person.

Watching the Honkai Beast quickly adjust its body, Elysia drew a third arrow.

Now, she could no longer perfectly predict the Honkai Beast’s movements, because a Honkai Beast taken over and controlled by someone was a different situation from an AI-controlled Honkai Beast.

The Honkai Beast turned around on the spot and faced Elysia directly, then a strong wind appeared in front of the Honkai Beast.

This wind was pulling Elysia, trying to make her approach the Honkai Beast.

Elysia then detonated the second arrow, and the strong wind caused by the Honkai Beast instantly dissipated, but the dust caused by the explosion once again obscured the Honkai Beast.

Elysia immediately adjusted the function of the third arrow and shot it towards her side.

The arrow directly plunged into the wall of the ruins, and an energy rope appeared on the arrow, with the other end of the rope on the bow.

The rope quickly contracted, pulling Elysia rapidly away from her original position.

At this moment, an air cannon was also fired towards Elysia’s previous position.

The building hit by the air cannon slowly collapsed.

Looking at that building, Elysia breathed a sigh of relief, “That really scared me,” Elysia muttered softly.

However, this muttering was also transmitted outside the Memory Battlefield by the device on her.

Elysia looked in the direction of the Honkai Beast and shot another arrow, “Elysia is a little angry now, so please, exit the stage ♬~” The Honkai Beast, still reeling from the air cannon, could only wait in place for this arrow to hit.

After all, it was simulated by the Memory Battlefield; if it were reality, the Honkai Beast might still be able to dodge, as simulated Honkai Beasts are all fixed data.

With the explosion of this arrow, the Honkai Beast turned into dust and dissipated.

Elysia breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the Honkai Beast disappear.

She was really afraid that the person controlling the Honkai Beast would become enraged and directly modify the Honkai Beast’s data.

Fortunately, that person still had some martial ethics and didn’t cheat.

If they had been controlling it from the beginning, Elysia would have had a much harder time, but a Honkai Beast with low health, even if it was just a war of attrition, Elysia could wear it down to death.
