Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

Elysia and Himeko walked leisurely through the academy, with Elysia talking the whole way and Himeko listening.

Upon reaching the dormitory (speaking of which, Saint Freya’s treatment is quite good…

everyone lives in a suite), Himeko reached out and opened the door, then turned on the living room lights after stepping inside.

“Come in first, I’ll show you your room, but you won’t be staying in that room tonight,” Himeko said, leading Elysia upstairs and opening an empty room.

When the door opened, some dust stirred in the room.

Looking at the dust, Himeko smiled awkwardly, “Hardly anyone comes here, so I haven’t tidied up more rooms.

There used to be a guest room, and a few people moved in here before you, which came in handy.” “It’s fine, after all, Sister Himeko, you’ll definitely arrange a place for me to sleep tonight, won’t you ♬~” Elysia directly reached out and pulled the door shut, preventing the dust from drifting out.

“Of course, there’s definitely a place to sleep,” Himeko nodded.

Their movements and the sound of the door opening clearly caught the attention of some people.

The door of the adjacent room suddenly opened, and then a girl with long purple hair walked out.

“Himeko Sensei, you’re back.” She then saw Elysia standing next to Himeko.

“And this is?” “Mei, ah, did I disturb your rest?

This is someone who will also be living here from now on.

Her name is…” While Himeko was introducing her, Elysia had already walked over to Mei.

“Oh, so the cute child who’s going to live in the same house as me is this one!

Hello, I’m Elysia.

I’ll grant you special permission to just call me Elysia ♬~” Elysia directly took Mei’s hand and then introduced herself.

Mei was momentarily unaccustomed to such an enthusiastic person.

After all…

Mei somewhat awkwardly withdrew her hand and said nervously, “Hello, I’m Raiden Mei.” At this point, Mei was still a bit scared.

After seeing that Elysia had no special reaction, she continued, “You can just call me Mei.” “Cute children don’t need to be so nervous, Elysia isn’t a little monster that eats people ♬~” Seeing the nervous Mei, Elysia reached out and patted Mei’s head.

“You’re not allowed to steal my Mei!” The door to the room opposite Mei’s instantly burst open, and then a child who looked somewhat similar to Theresa, but appeared much older than Theresa, rushed out.

The newly emerged White-haired ball directly hugged Mei, looking at Elysia with alert.

“Kiana, let go quickly.” Mei’s previously somewhat suppressed emotions instantly melted away, and she became a bit shy.

Finally, the door to another room opened, and an expressionless little loli with twin pigtails walked out, holding a Homu doll that was very popular on the market.

(Oh, this sentence is really long.) The new little loli walked expressionlessly to Mei’s side, then reached out a hand and grabbed Mei’s clothes, looking at Elysia warily.

(The aura of a bad woman.) Himeko saw that everyone was out, then put her hand on her forehead and sighed, “I originally wanted to introduce you tomorrow, but since you’re all still awake, come to the living room.

I’ll introduce you to your new classmate.” After speaking, Himeko walked past them and went down the stairs.

When she reached the corner, she looked at Elysia and the trio who were still in a standoff.

“Why are you still standing there?

Come down.” Elysia, who had been poking Kiana’s face and teasing her, withdrew her hand after hearing this.

“Okay, coming down now.” She then jogged to catch up with Himeko.

Behind them, Kiana whispered into Mei’s ear, “Mei, Mei, you must be careful of this woman.

I feel like she’s definitely not a good person!” Because of Kiana’s actions, Mei’s face was now a bit red.

She then reached out and pushed Kiana’s head further away from her ear.

“Kiana, be polite.

Himeko Sensei just said she’s going to live here too.” Then she pulled Kiana and the little loli who was following her downstairs.

“What?

This bad woman is going to live here too?” Kiana’s voice couldn’t help but get a little louder.

Hearing Kiana’s voice, Elysia turned and glanced at Kiana, even showing a particularly gentle smile.

But in Kiana’s eyes, this bad woman was here to steal her Mei!

So she glared back fiercely.

Upon reaching the living room, the gentle Elysia sat next to Himeko, while the three little ones sat together (one shy, one expressionless, and one glaring fiercely at Elysia).

Seeing the two different attitudes, Himeko sighed helplessly.

“This is Elysia.

She will be your classmate from now on, and she will also live here.” Then, taking a deep breath, Himeko decided it was better to just say it directly, lest it cause unpleasantness if discovered later.

“And, she is also a survivor of Nagazora City.” Himeko still couldn’t completely reveal some identities, as she wasn’t sure of Elysia’s true personality, so it was better to hide Mei’s identity for now.

Upon hearing Himeko’s words, Mei’s pupils instantly contracted, and then her mood became somewhat low.

The other two looked at Elysia with some surprise (don’t ask me how I saw surprise on the emotionless face).

“(｡･∀･)ﾉﾞ Hi, hello everyone, I’m Elysia.

You can just call me Elysia, and cute children shouldn’t be so down all the time.

No matter what happens, life still has to go on, right?

So, be happier ♬~” After Himeko finished introducing her, Elysia introduced herself again.

She also noticed Mei’s lowered mood, so she stood up and gently patted Mei’s head.

Elysia knew very well that this identity might bring some pressure to Mei, but Elysia indeed came from Nagazora City, which was undeniable.

After confirming that Mei’s mood had improved somewhat, Elysia smiled and sat back on the sofa.

Himeko then introduced the three little ones to Elysia.

“The three of them, like you, are survivors of Nagazora City.

The smaller one on the left is Bronya, the one in the middle is Raiden Mei, and the one on the right who resembles Theresa is Kiana.” When Himeko finished her introduction, Mei stood up, pursed her lips, and said, “Hello, Miss Elysia, I am Raiden Mei.” Then, taking a deep breath, she continued, not knowing what decision she had made, “I am the third herrscher, and also…

the culprit who caused the disaster in Nagazora City.” After saying this, Mei closed her eyes.

“Mei!” Kiana and Himeko looked at Mei in surprise.

They didn’t expect Mei to reveal this identity directly.

Seeing Mei like this, Elysia knew that she must have taken all the responsibility for the deaths in Nagazora City onto herself.

Elysia didn’t want to see Mei like that.

So she stood up, walked around the coffee table, and hugged Mei in her arms, then gently stroked Mei’s head with one hand.

“Mm-hmm, I know, Mei, but this isn’t the time to be strong, you know.

How could such a big disaster in Nagazora City be caused by one person?

And, I believe a gentle and cute child like you would certainly not actively do such a thing, right?” Feeling the warmth on her head and listening to Elysia’s words, Mei instantly couldn’t help but cry.

Elysia slowly sat down in the spot Mei had just occupied, holding Mei in her arms and gently comforting her.

Kiana and Bronya on either side were unsure what to do at this moment, trying their best to comfort the emotionally distraught Mei.

Soon after, Mei, tired from crying, fell asleep on Elysia’s chest.

Elysia quietly spoke to Himeko and the others, then tried to slow her movements as much as possible, carrying Mei back to her room.

Kiana followed closely beside Elysia, afraid that something might happen to Mei.

After putting Mei back on the bed and covering her with the blanket, Elysia and Kiana quietly left the room and then went downstairs.

As they went downstairs, Kiana softly said “Thank you” to Elysia.

“No need to thank me, after all, Mei is such a cute child.” “No matter what, I have to thank you for comforting Mei.

Mei hasn’t been in a good mood lately.

All in all, thank you.” Saying this, Kiana turned her head to the side, showing none of her previous highly defensive demeanor.

Elysia chuckled softly, “Since you’re thanking me like this, I’ll gladly accept it.”
