Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

On the projection in front of them, every small team’s performance was commendable.

Not everyone is suited for combat.

Himeko silently noted down the people she observed who were not suitable for combat.

After all, combat is not an exercise; in an exercise, there will be injuries, but no fatalities.

On the battlefield, people really do die.

If one always maintains a playful attitude, Himeko truly does not recommend becoming a Valkyrie.

For these individuals, Himeko planned to assign them to logistics, as logistics is at least safer.

While Himeko and the others were watching the projection, within the Memory Battlefield, was Kiana’s team.

Kiana harassed the Chariot-class Honkai Beast with her dual pistols, rarely firing her guns, as bullets are limited; she mostly used the pistol grips to smash or her legs to attack.

(Here, low-level weapons still require self-supplied ammunition; powerful weapons will gather Honkai Energy to generate energy ammunition.) Mei moved around, and each time she approached, the katana in her hand would leave a wound on the enemy.

Bronya, on the other hand, was hidden in the shadows of a tall building, and from time to time, the robot behind her would emerge to launch an attack with its heavy cannon.

“Kiana, don’t try to tank the enemy’s attacks,” Mei said as she passed Kiana.

“Mm, I know, Mei,” Kiana said, then immediately charged directly at the Honkai Beast.

Facing the Honkai Beast’s attack, Kiana dodged with minimal movement, then aimed her gun at the Honkai Beast’s head.

However, the Honkai Beast’s front limb, which was still smashing down, swept horizontally, and Kiana only had time to raise her arm to block the attack.

Kiana was then directly smashed into the nearby ruins.

“Kiana!” Although Mei knew that this level of attack would not cause much harm to Kiana, she was still very worried.

“Cough cough, I’m fine, Mei,” Kiana crawled out of the ruins.

“I told you to be careful,” Mei said while restraining the Honkai Beast, preventing it from moving towards Kiana.

Boom~~ On the side of the Honkai Beast, an explosion suddenly occurred.

It was Bronya providing support from a distance.

Bronya’s cannon shot perfectly helped Mei dodge a Honkai Beast attack.

“Thank you, Bronya.” “You’re welcome, Sister Mei,” Bronya’s voice came through the communication system.

“Damn it, the Honkai Beast of this type we encountered before wasn’t this hard to fight!” Kiana charged forward to fight alongside Mei.

“Idiot Kiana, in reality, there won’t be just one Chariot-class Honkai Beast,” Bronya said while looking for the next firing angle.

“Since it’s a single Honkai Beast, shouldn’t it be weaker?!” After another shot failed to cause effective damage.

“Kiana, don’t be impatient, it’s just one Honkai Beast,” Mei said softly.

Yes, it was just one Honkai Beast.

They had come out of Nagazora City; had they encountered few Honkai Beasts?

“I know it’s just one Honkai Beast, but this guy is too tough!

I could even shatter parts of the ones I encountered before with a baseball bat!” She looked at the Honkai Beast in front of her, which, despite having various sized wounds, could still move normally.

Logically speaking, a Honkai Beast injured to this extent would have its movements affected, but it was different in the Memory Battlefield; this Honkai Beast was always in its best state.

“Stop complaining, Kiana,” Mei first comforted Kiana, then said on the communication system, “Bronya, Kiana and I will attract the Honkai Beast’s attention; try to make its head face your direction.” “Okay, Sister Mei.” Bronya, in the distance, looked at the aiming situation projected by the robot behind her.

She needed to find an angle where the explosion would not endanger Mei and the others.

So, how did Sister Elysia manage to control the explosion range?

Bronya thought about Elysia’s previous combat method.

Is the explosion range really easy to control?

Bronya tried to calculate the explosion range and finally found that there were too many influencing factors to accurately calculate it.

As the two in front used the Honkai Beast’s power to move away from it, Bronya also took the opportunity to fire a shell.

The shell exploded directly on the Honkai Beast’s head, but Kiana and Mei were also affected by the residual blast.

Fortunately, the Honkai Beast was defeated.

“Bronya!

Are you trying to kill us?!” Kiana shouted into the communication system after standing up.

“Bronya was already trying her best to control it,” Bronya said softly.

Although her tone was devoid of emotion, Kiana and Mei still felt Bronya’s disappointment.

“We’re fine, Bronya, that was a beautiful shot,” Mei said, looking at the dissipating Honkai Beast corpse.

After the three reunited.

“Bronya should have chosen a safer plan.

It’s Bronya’s fault.” After reuniting, Bronya walked up to Kiana and said.

Kiana, used to bickering with Bronya, was somewhat at a loss for words, “Bronya, no, Bronya, I wasn’t blaming you.

We’re wearing armor, that little bit of residual blast is no problem at all.” “It’s okay, Bronya.

Making mistakes at a time like this will make you more vigilant in actual combat, won’t it?” Mei walked over and patted Bronya’s head.

“Bronya just wanted to try Sister Elysia’s attack method,” Bronya explained softly.

“Sister Elysia’s attack method?” Mei was a little confused.

How was it related to Sister Elysia?

The three walked together towards the exit.

Bronya played Elysia and their combat footage, pointing out the controlled explosion range during Elysia’s attacks.

So, Bronya was indeed trying a new combat method.

It’s just that the combat methods of the three people in the video were simply not something they could imitate now.

Although she didn’t know Sister Elysia’s true strength, she could precisely snipe in the gaps between the attacks of two A-rank Valkyries.

And Rita, upon discovering the arrow, decisively dodged to the side.

Then came the arrow that Elysia detonated.

Even though these three were cooperating for the first time, they could achieve such an effect.

Is this what an A-rank Valkyrie is like?

Mei and Kiana thought this.

Especially Kiana, if every A-rank Valkyrie had to reach this level, then she would have to work even harder, after all, only by becoming an A-rank Valkyrie could she get news of her father from Aunt Theresa.

On the other side of the doorway, Elysia, who saw that Kiana and the others had already defeated the Honkai Beast, was already waiting for them.

“Hi~ How does it feel ♬~” Elysia waved her hand.

“It doesn’t feel like anything, this young lady easily defeated that Honkai Beast!” The strong Kiana said, putting her hands on her hips.

Mei next to her covered her face.

Kiana’s personality, sigh, there’s nothing to be done, after all, she’s the person she likes.

Mei sighed and looked at Kiana.

Bronya didn’t refute Kiana this time; she just stared straight at Elysia.

Seeing Bronya staring at her, Elysia walked up to Bronya and squatted down.

“Staring at me like that will make me shy, you know.

But, from your look, you want to ask something, right?

What do you want to ask, Bronya ♬~” Elysia said with a smile.

“Bronya wants to know how Sister Elysia perfectly controls the explosion range,” Bronya said directly.

“Explosion range?” A question mark appeared above Elysia’s head.

“Yes.” Bronya played the video again, pointing at the explosion scene on it.

“Oh, you mean that, little cute.

But the situation is completely different, you know.” Elysia pulled an arrow from her quiver and handed it to Bronya.

“The shape and size of the arrow are fixed, and the amount of explosive charge is limited to that much.

You just need to always use the maximum charge each time.” Elysia pointed at the explosive part of the arrow.

“Of course, this kind of explosion range can be understood in advance through some data, and also, Rita and the others are very skilled.

With them, I can attack.” Elysia pointed at Rita standing outside the explosion range in the video.

“I understand,” Bronya said, looking at the arrow in her hand.

Even so, Sister Elysia is still very amazing.

Bronya said to herself.

“Alright, let’s discuss the combat summary later ♬~” Elysia stood up and led them to the rest area.

“For now, let’s rest first.

Only after resting well can we do a combat summary ♬~” Elysia went to the side and got each of them a bottle of water, then handed it to them.
