Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

By the next morning, as Elysia was helping Mei cook, the three people upstairs slowly woke up and came downstairs.

After Elysia and Mei finished cooking and brought the food to the table, Elysia looked at Himeko strangely, while Mei looked at Kiana strangely.

They stared until both of them awkwardly turned their heads away.

Elysia let out a giggle, then covered her mouth.

“So, Sister Himeko can also be shy, huh?

♪~” Himeko coughed, not saying anything, but the blush on her face indicated her current mood.

Mei, on her side, went to touch Kiana’s forehead, then touched her own, and only sat down after confirming Kiana wasn’t sick.

Then Himeko and Kiana ate the strangest breakfast, because Elysia and Mei kept glancing at them.

After eating, before everyone left for school, Himeko called out to them.

“Mei, for these two weeks, inspection personnel from the Headquarters of Schicksal have been sent,” Himeko said directly.

“Okay, I understand,” Mei replied seriously after hearing her.

“I’m telling you this so you’re mentally prepared; don’t feel too much pressure.

If they dare to do anything excessive, I think I can still wield my greatsword,” Himeko said, patting Mei’s shoulder.

“Elysia, Kiana, Bronya, you should all be careful of strangers approaching you recently, especially you, Kiana.

Don’t cause trouble for Mei and Elysia, understand?” “Sister Himeko!

You don’t trust me!

I’ll protect Mei!” Kiana said angrily, feeling untrusted.

“Kiana, it’s not that I don’t trust you, but this matter is very important,” Himeko said seriously.

“Bronya, follow Kiana these next few days.

Make sure to keep an eye on her.” “Okay, Teacher Himeko,” Bronya nodded slightly.

“Alright, now, go to class,” Himeko said, opening the door and walking out first, with Elysia and the others quickly following her.

The morning classes passed normally.

In the afternoon training, Himeko walked onto the sports field with a brown-haired girl in a maid uniform.

Seeing Himeko’s arrival, the students on the field all ran to Himeko and gathered.

Once everyone had gathered, Himeko walked to the front of them.

“Next, let me introduce you to this person beside me.

She is Rita, the Vice-Captain of the Immortal Blades squad.

For a period of time, she will be teaching you physical combat with me.” At this moment, Rita took a step forward, first looking at them from left to right, then bowed to the students, including Elysia.

Rita smiled and said, “Hello everyone, I am Rita.

For the next period, I hope we get along well.” After speaking, she specifically looked at Mei and Elysia.

One was the third herrscher, and the other was a suspicious person.

Both were individuals the Bishop had asked her to observe closely.

“Tch,” Himeko muttered her dissatisfaction.

“Alright, today, our training is relatively simple: free grouping, two-person combat.

Remember, stop at the appropriate point!” Although it was called two-person combat, it was actually just free activity.

Everyone was a classmate, so it was basically like playing around.

“Is this how your academy trains Valkyries?

In such a play-house mode,” Rita stood beside Himeko, looking at the students on the field.

“How we teach shouldn’t need to be reported to your Headquarters, should it?” Himeko frowned and said.

She disliked this Valkyrie named Rita.

If they weren’t colleagues, she might have already been unable to resist punching her.

“Yes, Headquarters has no right to evaluate how your academy teaches.

After all, this is an area recognized by the Bishop and solely managed by Theresa,” Rita said with a smile.

“Tsk,” Himeko could only express her dissatisfaction this way, listening to Rita’s words.

Their conversation ended like that.

All afternoon, no matter where Himeko went to instruct students, Rita followed behind her.

However, Himeko had no choice but to let Rita follow her like that.

Even after class ended, when Himeko intended to leave the academy, Rita still followed Himeko closely.

“Miss Rita, it’s after work hours now.

You don’t need to follow me anymore,” Himeko turned to the maid following her and said.

“Senior Himeko doesn’t need to be so wary of me.

My mission this time is to take care of Theresa,” Rita still said with a smile.

Looking at Rita’s expression, Himeko always felt like she was punching cotton.

This woman didn’t have any of the feelings a Valkyrie should have, Himeko thought.

“Did Theresa not arrange accommodation for you?” “Theresa didn’t arrange accommodation for me, but as far as I know, Theresa lives with Senior Himeko, so I only need to follow Senior Himeko to find Theresa’s residence.” Himeko led Rita around outside, but then she really had no choice and could only take Rita back to where she lived.

After all, this annoying maid must have already known their residence, and even if she sped up to shake her off, she would eventually arrive at their residence.

Upon reaching the residence, Himeko directly opened the door.

“I’m home.” “Sister Himeko, you’re back,” Elysia poked her head out from the kitchen and looked.

“Oh?

Is Miss Rita here as a guest?” “Good evening, Miss Elysia,” Rita greeted Elysia, then followed Himeko into the living room.

Inside the living room, Kiana and Bronya were competing on a game.

The two looked back, then quickly stood up, intending to put away their game consoles.

“You two continue playing, it’s fine,” Himeko said, glancing at Rita.

But the two still quickly put away their game consoles and ran upstairs, after all, playing normally and playing in front of adults were still different.

After going upstairs, the two directly entered Bronya’s room.

Bronya’s room also had a large display screen, and the two continued playing their game.

In the living room.

“Are the Valkyries trained by your academy usually so lax?” Rita said with a smile.

“After all, our academy’s philosophy is to cultivate Valkyries who can protect themselves and have emotions, not to cultivate cold machines,” Himeko said, sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed, looking at Rita.

“Yes, Rita has heard Theresa’s educational philosophy, but can this really cultivate excellent Valkyries?” Rita asked with a smile.

“What we want to cultivate are excellent people, who are first human, then Valkyrie,” Theresa walked down from upstairs.

“Good evening, Theresa,” Rita stood up and bowed to Theresa.

“Why are you here?” Theresa said, somewhat displeased.

“It’s the Bishop’s arrangement.

The Bishop asked Rita to personally take care of Theresa during this period,” Rita used the same excuse.

“Is it Grandpa’s arrangement?

But there are no extra clean rooms here now,” Theresa directly stated the excuse she had already thought of.

Theresa disliked being with Rita.

She didn’t know why, but every time she was alone with Rita, she always felt like Rita was thinking something bad, which sent chills down her spine.

“That doesn’t require Theresa to worry about.

Rita has her own methods.

May I use the empty room upstairs, Theresa?” Rita said with a smile.

“I’d like to see what methods you have.

You can use the empty room upstairs however you like!” Theresa said directly, after all, she knew just how dirty the empty room truly was.

“Then I apologize, please forgive Rita’s temporary departure, Theresa,” Rita smiled and left the living room, directly walking up the stairs to the second floor.

Watching Rita go upstairs, Himeko asked Theresa, “Theresa, why did you let her stay?” Theresa also sighed at this moment and said, “It was Grandpa’s request.” “The Bishop’s request, huh?” Hearing this, Himeko could only force a bitter smile.

“My Grandpa said that if I didn’t let Rita stay here, he would reduce the academy’s funding.” (Actually, he wouldn’t; Otto still loved Theresa very much.) “Is that so?” Himeko let out a long sigh.

“It’s okay, Himeko.

We can just pretend she’s not here.

Anyway, with our normal teaching life, I don’t believe she can find anything,” Theresa said.

“Hmm, now we can only take it one step at a time,” Himeko also had no other choice, after all, Rita was sent by the Bishop.

Elysia and Mei in the kitchen had already started preparing the extra portion for the additional person once they confirmed someone else would be joining them.

Elysia walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, but didn’t see Rita.

“Sister Himeko, where’s Miss Rita?” “Do you need her for something?” “Mei and I are cooking, and I wanted to ask if Miss Rita has any dietary restrictions,” Elysia explained, holding a spoon.

“Rita is currently tidying up the room upstairs,” Himeko pointed upstairs.

“Okay, Sister Himeko, I’ll go up and ask,” Elysia said, walking back to the kitchen, putting the spoon down, and then heading straight upstairs.

Upstairs, there was only one room with an open door at the moment, and Elysia walked directly towards it.

Elysia remembered that that room, like her previous room, was not cleaned.

Elysia quickened her steps and walked over.

Upon reaching the doorway, Elysia saw that the room inside was already… clean?

Rita heard the footsteps and turned around, looking at Elysia in the doorway.

“Miss Elysia, is there something you need?” “I just wanted to ask if Rita has any dietary restrictions, since Rita is a guest ♪~ And, after hearing Teacher Himeko and them say you were tidying up the room upstairs, Elysia hurried up very quickly, to see if Rita needed any help ♪~” Elysia also said with a smile, “But I didn’t expect Rita to have already finished tidying up.

After all, Elysia and Mei took a whole morning to clean one room before ♪~” “As for dietary restrictions, Rita doesn’t have any foods she doesn’t eat.

As for tidying up the room, Rita is a maid after all, so tidying rooms is very professional,” Rita observed Elysia in front of her carefully.

She was exactly like the photo in the file, only the real person was even more beautiful and gentler than the photo.

“Since there’s nothing to help with, Elysia will go back downstairs to continue cooking.

Rita can come down to eat in a bit,” Elysia said, then turned and left the second floor.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, Mei asked Elysia, “Does Miss Rita have any dietary restrictions?” “No, Mei, and Miss Rita doesn’t seem like she’s difficult to talk to either.” The two continued cooking.

Since Rita had no dietary restrictions, it was much simpler; they just needed to make more dishes.

There were more people, and making porridge would still be too slow.

“Oh, Mei, Miss Rita is really amazing!

The room upstairs, when I went up, she had already tidied up a room ♪~” Elysia shared what she had just seen with Mei.

“Miss Rita tidied up a room upstairs?

Such a big room, it must be very hard for one person to clean.” “It should be very hard.

After all, the two of us spent a whole morning cleaning before.

I was just about to go help, but when I went up, I saw it was already clean ♪~” Elysia said, cutting the vegetables in her hand.

The two chatted like this, and soon finished cooking dinner.
