Death Game: Starting as a Trickster, Pretending to Be a God

Successive violent explosions erupted beneath the elevated highway, causing the entire structure to violently shake and tremble several times before beginning to collapse and crumble with a thunderous roar!

Everyone suddenly understood why Fish had arrived late and had climbed up from below earlier.

She hadn’t actually been that late—she had just been busy planting explosives on the supporting structures beneath the elevated highway!

Everyone’s footing became unsteady, with Radish Grandpa completely losing his balance and tumbling to the ground.

Mosin-Nagant helped him up, sounding the [whistle] to summon several animals that positioned themselves in front of the two. Hawks and hunting dogs used their bodies to block the flying debris.

Radish Grandpa then activated the previously planted ”seeds,” causing massive plant vines to suddenly emerge, their broad leaves shielding both of them within their protective embrace.

Taking advantage of the chaos created by the explosions, Fish didn’t hesitate for even a moment—she leaped forward, firing two consecutive shots from her flintlock aimed directly at the group of Order Game Masters!

These two shots carried tremendous force. Though fired hastily and missing their targets, they struck the ground at the administrators’ feet, cracking the road surface and sending rubble flying everywhere, making the already unsteady Game Masters even more precarious!

Of course, Fish’s more important goal was... Content originally comes from novel{f}ire.net

Using the recoil to propel herself backward.

”Bet you didn’t see this coming! This is my escape route, bitches!”

Fish cheered triumphantly in mid-air.

She truly hadn’t planned to fight six Order Game Masters to the death!

But...

Neither Fish nor Phantom, who had quietly retreated into his hat and was being carried away by a pigeon, managed to escape!

They seemed to crash into some kind of invisible barrier, being violently thrown back.

”The match is in progress! Contestants may not cross boundaries!”

A solemn and dignified voice rang out as a bald man in a striped shirt raised a red flag in his hand.

Fluoxetine, who had remained standing steadily throughout the collapse, her hair and skirt billowing dramatically, burst into loud laughter.

”You two, the Tianjin Game Master across from us is quite a famous Referee. Thinking you could leave so easily is rather naive.”

The next moment...

Fluoxetine stepped forward, her hands emanating a floral fragrance with petals dancing between her fingers.

A gleaming hand axe appeared in her left hand while an M1911 materialized in her right!

And she instantly teleported right among the five Order members—behind the flag-raising Referee uncle.

”Code name ’Tianjin Tiger,’ profession ’Referee,’ rank ’Third Tier’... potential B+. Not bad, you two.”

”Though, it wouldn’t be a pity to kill you either.”

Fluoxetine’s casual words hung in the air as bloodlust flashed in her eyes.

”Watch out!”

Li Hua roared as he threw two chips, the dice above his head spinning and landing on 11!

”Success!”

With a series of clicking sounds, a pair of brass knuckles appeared on his hands, and he instantly lunged at Fluoxetine.

However, Fluoxetine seemed prepared, the muzzle of her M1911 continuously spitting fire with deafening reports!

Only then did Li Hua realize that gun was meant for him!

”Bang! Bang! Bang!”

Three shots rang out in rapid succession. At the critical moment, the dice above Li Hua’s head spun again, instantly showing numbers 6, 20, and 17!

”Failure!”

”Critical success!”

”Success!”

The first shot hit Li Hua’s shoulder, blood blossoming from the wound as he grunted but stubbornly held his ground.

The second shot completely missed, even ricocheting off a metal guardrail nearby, the bullet strangely changing direction and striking Phantom in the calf.

The third shot barely grazed past Li Hua’s ear.

”Li Hua, you bastard! Country bumpkin!”

Phantom’s curses echoed through the chaos.

He had just emerged from his hat!

Though these three shots didn’t eliminate Li Hua, they were enough to slow his movements.

And that brief moment was all that was needed.

The remaining four Game Masters, disoriented by the collapse, couldn’t react as quickly as Li Hua!

Fluoxetine’s axe was already swinging toward the back of the Referee who was trying to turn around!

”Thud!”

The hand axe bit into flesh, instantly opening a gruesome wound!

But before Fluoxetine could complete her swing, something resembling a bull from a Picasso painting—or rather, a strange creature composed entirely of lines that vaguely resembled a bull—charged over and sent Fluoxetine flying.

Fluoxetine tossed out two cotton candy-like white clouds mid-air to cushion her fall, finally landing steadily on the clouds before turning to look at the pale-faced Robin.

”Well now, little Robin, my dear treasure... I almost forgot about you!”

”But no matter, anyway the Referee is already... Hmm?”

During her backward movement, Fluoxetine again collided with the invisible barrier, being slightly rebounded.

She looked in surprise at the Referee named ”Tianjin Tiger” lying on the ground.

The man was pale, his forehead beaded with sweat, his back drenched in blood.

But with one hand embedded in the concrete road surface to stabilize himself during the collapse, his other hand firmly grasped the small red triangular flag.

”The match isn’t over yet.”

The Referee spoke weakly but with unwavering determination.

”Quite impressive, Order! This is too interesting!”

Fluoxetine snapped her fingers.

”Though... while it still prevents me from leaving, it shouldn’t be too difficult for people outside to come in now, right?”

As she spoke, she holstered her M1911 pistol and scattered a handful of petals from her bosom.

”Swish—”

The petals danced in the air before forming an archway.

On the other side of the archway, a frail-looking girl who appeared to have albinism—wearing bear-themed pajamas at home while holding a bowl of instant noodles and watching cartoons—suddenly turned her head, her gaze meeting Fluoxetine’s and the astonished Order Game Masters.

”Fluoxetine, what the hell are you messing around with now?!”

A standard young girl’s voice with a strong northeastern accent rang out in angry curses.

Fluoxetine put on a frightened and wronged expression: ”Help me, Dolantine! I’m about to be killed! It’s so scary!”

”Piss off! Don’t disgust me, I’m telling you! Can’t you just run away yourself?!”

”If you can’t win, can’t you at least run? What kind of idiot are you?! What—did Order secretly spit like two hundred sticky bubblegums on the ground to glue your shoes in place, or did you fall for some handsome guy scheme where ten hunks are doing exclusive pole dances that hooked your pure little soul, making you drool all over the place and your legs go weak so you can’t move?”

Despite her verbal abuse, the little girl still put down her noodle bowl, paused the cartoon, and stepped through the archway.

Then, she saw the Referee on the ground, Phantom clutching his thigh and howling in pain, and Fish in mid-air with her hover boosters exchanging ranged attacks with two Order Game Masters.

Plus the leaves enveloping Mosin-Nagant and Radish Grandpa, and Robin drawing in the corner.

”Holy fucking hell, this is like a painting of hell! You really outdid yourself, Fluoxetine! There aren’t many special specimens among Players, but today you’ve managed to gather them all! The last time I saw this much random crap was when I was six and my grandma took me to the reptile and insect houses at Fengcheng Zoo!”

As she spoke, she pulled out two futuristic-looking grenades, yanked the pins out with her teeth, and casually dropped them at her feet.

”Watch out for grenades!”

Li Hua shouted a warning, spinning his dice again.

But before the dice could show results, they were interrupted!

”Bzzz—!”

An intense blast of noise and blinding light erupted.

Everyone quickly realized.

”They’re flashbangs!”

But soon, they noticed something wrong...

Because these flashbangs kept flashing without end!

The intense light and buzzing continued to envelop the elevated highway, depriving everyone of their vision and hearing!

Even Lin Yu, who had been secretly observing from another section of the abandoned highway that hadn’t collapsed and had moved even further away to avoid being caught in the crossfire, suffered from the effects.

He dropped his binoculars, rubbing his right eye vigorously as tears streamed down like broken pearls.

Everything he looked at had afterimages!

”What kind of people are these Psychological Society members?”

”What kind of dirty tricks are these?”
