Chapter 229: Chapter 227: Ah!!

”Ah!!” Feeling the chill on her back, Sofia finally realized the gravity of the situation.

If she continued to stay here, she might lose herself!

Xiao Tian was different from the men before. Those men were easily seduced by her, doing whatever she said. But Xiao Tian was completely unyielding to her manipulation, bringing an immense unease to her heart.

”Help...”

Sofia couldn’t care anymore, she shouted out loud. But before she could even scream, she felt a wad of paper stuffed into her mouth, silencing her completely.

It was at this moment Sofia realized that coming to find Xiao Tian was the stupidest thing she could have done!

She twisted her body, struggling desperately. However, in front of Xiao Tian, all these efforts were in vain. Soon, Xiao Tian relentlessly tore open Sofia’s pajamas, revealing her fair back.

Sofia felt a chill on her back, and her heart was filled with fear and despair.

At this moment, only God Himself could save her!

Xiao Tian grinned smugly, gently caressing Sofia’s smooth back, then pulled out a knife from his pocket.

Without hesitation, he picked up the knife and started to carve on Sofia’s smooth, white back.

”Mmm!!!”

Sofia felt a sharp pain in her back, gasping in shock. But the sound she made was so faint that only Xiao Tian could hear.

Giggling, Xiao Tian moved the knife back and forth on Sofia’s back, as if writing something.

Sofia was shocked, this man was carving words into her back!

But what surprised Sofia was that this person seemed extremely skilled with a knife. When the blade carved into her back, it brought only a slight sting.

Xiao Tian, like an artist painting, was very earnest. After a few minutes, Xiao Tian finally sighed with relief, clapping his hands in satisfaction.

Xiao Tian said, ”It’s done, I’ll take the paper out of your mouth now. But if you dare scream, I’ll carve ten more words!”

Sofia hurriedly nodded, her greatest wish now was to leave this devil’s room as soon as possible.

Xiao Tian nodded in satisfaction and removed the paper from Sofia’s mouth.

”Cursed Huaxia People, what did you carve on my back?” Sofia bit her lip, furious.

Xiao Tian chuckled wickedly, ”You’ll know when you get back to your room, or do you want me to carve some more?”

Not merely out of imagination, yesterday he encountered Ling Xiaobai, who turned out to be an M.

Hearing that Xiao Tian might carve more, Sofia instantly stood up in fright, quickly tidied her clothes, and fled in embarrassment. Watching Sofia’s retreating figure, Xiao Tian smiled faintly.

At this moment, Sofia had just run back to her room. She hurriedly turned on the lights, walked to the bathroom mirror, lifted her clothing, and looked at her back.

There, clearly carved, were several words.

”Xiao Tian is my daddy!”

During her university days, Sofia had studied Huaxia Language, and she had also operated in Huaxia for some time before, so she naturally recognized the characters on her back.

Standing in the bathroom, trembling with anger, her body shook in fury as tears surged uncontrollably.

-----

Late at night, outside the doors of the Japanese intelligence department building, a black car was quietly parked by the street. Zhanhong and his team, fully prepared and dressed in black, slowly approached the building.

The location had been thoroughly observed over this period, and they had already devised an operational plan.

Zhanhong and a few others slowly moved beside the wall, speaking in a hushed voice, ”In a while, I’ll go in with the first team from here and search for the data according to the initial plan!”

”Okay!” The group nodded in agreement.

Then Zhanhong turned to those who were staying outside and said, ”You’re in charge of guarding the outside. If anything happens, notify us immediately with the communicator! Once we’re done, jump out from the back door!”

Chen Bao, Zhanhong’s long-time subordinate who stayed outside, nodded gravely and patted Zhanhong on the shoulder:

”Team Leader, the chief said before we left, the lives of the brothers are the top priority. If anything goes wrong, your safety is the most important thing, and you can abandon the data if necessary! Be careful!”

”No problem!”

Agreeing, Zhanhong didn’t hesitate any longer and waved his hand decisively. ”Jump in!”

With that, a dozen people leapt, under the hazy moonlight, swiftly climbing the several-meter-high wall. Soon, silence enveloped the surroundings.

The night was hazy, and the street was extremely quiet. It was already one in the morning, and the temperature was a bit chilly.

Chen Bao sat in the car, his ear tightly pressed against the small communication device, fearing he might miss any news from his comrades inside.

Everyone grew tense, the atmosphere was incredibly oppressive. Inside the dark vehicle, all that could be heard was the heavy breathing of the team members.

At this moment, Zhanhong and the others were already twenty minutes overdue! Over twenty minutes, anything could happen.

”Bao, do you think the Team Leader and the rest will succeed?”

The driver beside him, uneasy, asked.

Chen Bao was furious upon hearing this, ready to scold the driver when suddenly, a voice came through the communicator.

”Hurry to the back door!” The voice was Zhanhong’s, but his tone was hurried and distressed.

Chen Bao sensed something wrong, immediately turning the car sharply toward the back door. From a nearby section of the wall by the back door, two or three bloodied individuals clumsily leaped out.

Among them, Zhanhong was covered in blood, evidently shot in the chest!

Zhanhong quickly got into the car, without a moment’s hesitation, exclaimed, ”Drive! We were ambushed, most of the brothers are gone! They seemed prepared, there was no data there at all, we were set up!”

”How could it be???” Chen Bao’s face froze, but knowing now wasn’t the time for words, he trembled slightly and drove away swiftly.

In the car, Zhanhong spoke almost chokingly, ”If it weren’t for a few brothers risking their lives to protect us three, we’d all be dead there in a few days!”

At this moment, Zhanhong, full of guilt, took out his phone and dialed a number.

”Hello? How did it go?” The call was instantly answered by Xiao Tian’s father, Zhong Aiguo!

Hearing Zhanhong’s labored breathing, saying nothing for a while, Zhong Aiguo instantly understood the situation, sighing without a trace of reproach in his tone, ”Are the people alright?”

”Five or six brothers were sacrificed... We were ambushed! Chief, I’m sorry!!”

”Don’t say that, I’ll send someone to pick you up. Right now, just focus on healing your wounds, I’ll send others over there.”

At dawn the next morning, Muto Ichiro finally rushed back to Fujino Dojo.

Immediately upon returning to the dojo, Muto Ichiro, without any hesitation, charged into the inner courtyard.

Muto Ichiro thought, since Xiao Tian recklessly came to Japan, this time he absolutely cannot let him escape!
