Chapter 580: Chapter 580 This head instructor is so awesome_1

”Reporting to the Commander, we are undergoing special training, and everything will be based on the completion of training. In order to prevent Long Ya from being disbanded, we can’t afford to care about anything else!” Shen Xiangtian responded loudly before turning his head and glaring fiercely at the nearby Long Ya squadron leader.

The Long Ya squadron leader in question was the commander of the Flying Eagle Special Combat Squadron, Long Jianfei. Sensing the hostility in Shen Xiangtian’s eyes, he managed a wry smile and shook his head: ”Squadron Leader Shen, about the disbandment of Long Ya...”

”Sorry, Squadron Leader Long, but as long as Long Ya still exists, its disbandment is not yet certain. Please don’t spread rumors!” Shen Xiangtian loudly interrupted Long Jianfei’s speech.

”Yes, Long Ya will not be disbanded!”

”Just wait and see, Flying Eagle is going to lose this time!”

”Long Ya will live forever!”

”Long Ya will live forever!”

Over two hundred warriors shouldered their guns and carried ammunition boxes, yelling out as they rushed out of the ammunition depot. They cast severe glances at Long Jianfei and continued their haste towards the training ground without pause.

”Reporting, Commander Zhang, I’m going to train now.” Shen Xiangtian shouted to Commander Zhang before turning to enter the weapon depot, lifted a box of Light Machine Gun Elixirs, and hurried to the training ground.

”See that? Ever since this kid heard about Long Ya’s potential disbandment, he treats me with disdain,” said Commander Zhang, visibly aggrieved, but a hint of pride colored his eyes.

”Commander Zhang, based on what Squadron Leader Shen just said, has the chief instructor arrived? Shall we go have a look?” Long Jianfei expressed with interest.

Commander Zhang regarded Long Jianfei with a wary expression: ”What? You want to reconnoiter the enemy’s situation?”

”Commander Zhang, I...” Long Jianfei looked at Commander Zhang, torn between laughter and tears.

”Haha, just joking. Let’s go have a look. I too want to see what this new chief instructor is like, the one who can drive these boys so mad.” Commander Zhang took steps toward the training ground.

...

On the training ground, as Shen Xiangtian and the others returned, Jiang Chen scanned the crowd and barked out his command: ”Ten squad leaders, pair off, five meters apart, form two columns!”

With a rustle, the ten squad leaders quickly spread out, facing each other.

”Everyone else, assemble behind me!” Jiang Chen commanded again.

The sound of quick footsteps followed as the rest of the warriors ran to line up behind Jiang Chen.

”The orders I am about to give are for you ten to listen carefully,” Jiang Chen spoke gravely: ”Shen Xiangtian, shoot at Chen Jiantao. The target is within five centimeters of Chen Jiantao’s body. If you have a grudge against him, then kill him; if you don’t want to kill him, then empty the bullets in your gun within five centimeters of his body!”

Everyone was taken aback, looking at Jiang Chen with faces full of shock.

”Shen Xiangtian, do you want Long Ya to be disbanded? Carry out the order!” Jiang Chen did not provide any explanation, calling out loudly.

”Chief instructor! This...”

”Chief instructor...”

Many started to speak, intending to ask Jiang Chen to rescind the order.

”Shut up!” Jiang Chen turned his head and yelled, then stared intently back at Shen Xiangtian: ”Shen Xiangtian, if even you won’t carry out the order, then I have no reason to remain here any longer!”

”I...” Hesitation filled Shen Xiangtian’s eyes. Standing before him was not just a fellow warrior but a brother-in-arms he had fought alongside, a brother they had both risen from pools of blood with!

”Squad leader, come on!” Chen Jiantao said with a smile, ”I believe in you! You must also believe in yourself!”

Whoosh!

Shen Xiangtian took a deep breath and suddenly shouted loudly, ”Ah!”

Rat-a-tat-tat!

The light machine gun spit out tongues of flame, the bullets flying towards the area around Chen Jiantao’s body.

”Ah!”

”Squad leader!”

The group behind Jiang Chen cried out in alarm one after another.

”Damn it! You son of a—how could you give no warning at all!” Jiang Chen cursed inwardly, hastily putting his hands together, a wave of invisible blood energy enveloping Chen Jiantao, his eyes narrowing as he focused all his efforts on trying to alter the bullets’ trajectories.

”Cease fire?!” A startled shout rang out, followed by Commander Zhang charging into the training field, bellowing, ”Shen Xiangtian, what are you doing? Cease fire this instant!”

”Continue! Don’t stop!” Noticing Shen Xiangtian showing signs of ceasing fire, Jiang Chen shouted out, then turned to glare at Commander Zhang, saying in a low voice, ”Old man, go play somewhere else, stop meddling here! Meddle again and I’ll thrash you, for real!”

Apart from Shen Xiangtian, who was still firing, and Chen Jiantao, who was anxiously awaiting the bullets, everyone else was dumbfounded, looking at Jiang Chen with admiring faces.

Holy cow!

The chief instructor is awesome!

Cursing at the commander like he’s scolding a grandkid! And even threatening to beat him up if he interferes, this...

A series of dark lines creased Commander Zhang’s forehead, as he glared at Jiang Chen and opened his mouth to shout again.

”Commander Zhang, wait a moment!” Long Jianfei spoke up, his face full of seriousness.

Commander Zhang yelled angrily, ”Wait for what? Is this training? This is outright nonsense, if this were to...”

”Nothing will go wrong!”

Long Jianfei interrupted Commander Zhang, muttering in disbelief with a shocked expression, ”I never would have thought! Never would have thought that Shen Xiangtian would actually find an Innate Grandmaster to become Long Ya’s chief instructor, this... And to think he’s such a young Innate Grandmaster, how is it possible? How can there be such a young Innate Grandmaster?!”

”Commander Long, the question is not who this chief instructor is... what? You’re saying...” Commander Zhang gaped at Long Jianfei.

Gulp!

Long Jianfei swallowed hard, his voice quivering as he explained, ”I’m on the verge of entering the realm of the Innate Grandmaster myself, and I can feel an invisible force around Chen Jiantao’s body. Any bullet that might harm him is deflected by this force, changing its course so that the bullet will only graze him and not truly injure him.

This is the release of Inner Qi that only an Innate Grandmaster can achieve!”

After hearing Long Jianfei’s words, Commander Zhang’s eyes widened, staring fixedly at Jiang Chen, ”This... this is simply fantastic!”

”Commander Zhang, it seems the outcome of the upcoming major competition is really unpredictable!” Long Jianfei looked intently at Jiang Chen, suppressing the excitement in his heart and speaking with a sense of awe.

Commander Zhang glanced around at everyone, pondered for a while, turned to look at Long Jianfei with complex eyes, and said softly, ”Commander Long, what do you think, can the Flying Eagle Special Combat Squadron be sent on a mission in three months, and then return after another two months?”

Long Jianfei was startled, catching on to Commander Zhang’s expression, and with a sudden realization, looked at Jiang Chen and Shen Xiangtian who were still training, nodding emphatically, ”Commander Zhang, I believe that by that time, Flying Eagle will be executing a mission.”

Commander Zhang gratefully nodded at Long Jianfei, then turned to look at Jiang Chen, sighing inwardly, ”Mr. Jiang, all I can fight for is this little bit of time, please help us create a miracle, help us Long Ya retain our unit designation!”
