Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2931 - 2932: Cornering The Sun God

-----

”Itʼs time to smash stuff up!”

Meanwhile, Ryo had fused once more—not only with Shuten Dojiʼs Soul, but with the Souls of every Oni that had ever existed and even the entirety of Yomi itself.

Izanami joined him, merging into his body to lend her strength, manifesting as a pitch-black tattoo across his skin.

Ryo channeled the power he had cultivated through Buddhism alongside the raw Demonic Power of his birthright, forging a perilous balance between heaven and hell within himself.

”I hope Matsuo is alright…!” Frank soared toward Kireina, awe-struck by her radiant new angelic form radiating overwhelming might. ”Kireina, Charlotte told me to—”

”Huh? Oh!” Kireina grasped Charlotte, Andromeda, and Astraeaʼs plan in an instant and nodded firmly. ”Okay, letʼs do it!”

”WHATEVER YOUʼRE PLANNING IS USELESS!”

The Sun Godʼs irritation boiled over. He rapidly drew power from his Main Body and the countless Stars encircling him.

”PERISH BEFORE MY RADIANCE!”

A colossal pair of armored gauntlets forged from Sunlight Galaxies materialized, compressing the surrounding stars into a single devastating point.

The Sun God intended to obliterate everything—erasing them from existence entirely.

”OBLIVION ULTIMATUM!”

TRUUUMMM!!!

The stars collapsed to their ultimate density—not into a black hole, but into an all-consuming explosion of pure, blinding white radiance unlike anything the universe had ever witnessed.

”Blossoming Defiance – Myriad Forms and Connections.”

”Weapon Form – Infinite Heavens Sword!”

Facing the incoming apocalypse, Kireina stood calm and resolute. She transformed her axe into the Infinite Heavens Sword and swung with absolute focus.

She poured every technique and form she had mastered into the strike.

”Heavenly Sword God Myriad Soul Blade Arts – Shinra Yaoyorozu.”

”Mountain Slash.”

”Terrain Division.”

”Splitting Skies.”

”Storming Seas.”

”Four Heavenly Cardinals.”

”Star Cleaving Sword.”

”Myriad Celestial Blade.”

Her Aura detonated outward, summoning a cosmic storm of unimaginable scale. Each thunderbolt crystallized into a miniature Infinite Heavens Sword, compressing her full power to its absolute limit.

”Heaven And Earth Defying Soul Heart Style.”

”Crimson Eclipse Bloom.”

”Defiance of the Nine Heavens.”

”Pillar of Celestial Enlightenment.”

”Heaven-Surpassing Infinite Self.”

Then, channeling those compressed swords through Myriad Celestial Blade, Kireina unleashed the four forms she had mastered of the Heaven and Earth Defying Soul Heart Style.

At the same moment, everyone behind her erupted—unleashing techniques, spells, abilities, and magic in perfect unison.

For a fleeting instant, the most breathtaking sight in the universe unfolded: thousands of mighty beings united, pouring every ounce of their strength into halting the end of all things.

Their attacks blazed like radiant stars of every color, a dazzling symphony of defiance.

RUMBLE!

The erasing white light slammed into Kireina at the forefront. Everyone behind her roared as one, pushing forward with desperate fury. Her Heaven-Surpassing Infinite Self ignited, and she cleaved through space and time itself—right before the light could annihilate everything, the planet included.

BOOOMMM!!!

…

Silence swallowed the cosmos. The Sun God exhaled in weary relief, utterly spent. He had burned through nearly all his stored energy for that strike.

”Itʼs over… I did it…! I killed them all…! Hah… Hahaha…! Finally! I finally… did it…! I… Ugh?!”

BA-DUM!

BA-DUM!

BA-DUM!

Suddenly, something seized his heart in an iron grip.

It wasnʼt Amaterasuʼs Will.

Nor one of Kireinaʼs final tricks.

Kireina and everyone else had truly perished. Their journey had ended.

And now, for achieving that goal, the truth was unveiled to the Sun God.

”Congratulations, Sun God, Helionidas.”

”Eh?”

Something—someone—clutched his heart with merciless force.

A figure revealed itself within his mind: a woman who resembled Kireina strikingly, yet with golden hair and butterfly-like wings of blinding light, just like his own.

”W-Who…! Who are you?!”

Terror unlike anything he had ever known flooded the Sun God. He felt utterly, hopelessly afraid.

”Who guided you this entire time?”

”…?!”

”Who gave you the knowledge you needed? Who made you smarter?”

”…!”

”Me. It was me.”

”…Eh?”

”And now, thanks to you, I have finally succeeded. Kireina is dead. That means she will return to my other three sisters above. I descended here, compressing my very existence, all so I could control you.”

”W-What! No…! Who the hell are you?!”

”Hm? How strange… Why isnʼt she—”

SLASH!

”Gyaaaagh?!”

A slashing attack tore through the woman and the Sun God together.

Then another.

SLASH!

More.

SLASH! SLASH!

And more.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

And still more—relentless, unending.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

”KUUUAAAAGGGHHHHHHH!”

The woman and the Sun God—now fused as one—screamed in perfect, synchronized agony.

But where?

Where did these attacks come from?

”W-Whatʼs happening—GAAAAAHHH!”

The Sun God howled in horror as slash after slash tore his existence into countless fragments.

With each strike, pieces of reality shimmered into view. Time itself reversed.

As the fragments stitched back together, Kireina and everyone else reappeared—exactly as they had been, as though death had never touched them.

The Earth endured. Everyone endured.

”T-This is…! What sort of absurd technique is that?!”

The Sun God forgot the woman entirely, as though she had never existed. In blind fury he conjured the same devastating spell once more.

But he couldnʼt finish it.

”A-Aaaahhh!”

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

His Stars shattered one by one in brilliant explosions. His power drained away. His Main Body had shrunk to barely 30% of its original size—each severed fragment detonating and inflicting fresh devastation.

”It worked!” Kireina roared. ”Everyone, charge! Heʼs weakened—now!”

Kireina had employed the same ruthless tactic she once used against overwhelmingly powerful foes: letting them ”kill” her, only to reverse time with a delayed counterattack, resurrecting herself and her allies.

The move was incredibly taxing—she couldnʼt repeat it endlessly—but it had bought precious time and crippled the Sun God enough to reach this moment.

”Now!”

She surged forward. Everyone followed. Charlotte and Kireina barked commands; the mechs began combining at blinding speed.

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

”W-What is that now?!”

The Sun God stared in stunned horror as a titanic steel giant rose—rivaling the size of his own Main Body.

At its core burned the Earth itself, channeling soul power through every mechanism.

Its head formed a colossal mechanical visage resembling the Chaos Lord Obhedhrur.

The body assembled rapidly: a massive, bulky humanoid mech gleaming in dark blue, red, purple, and black.

Its shoulders roared like dragons. A lion-shaped helmet crowned it, crowned by blazing white flames for a mane.

Veronica and Ervas fused into the creation. Chaos poured into its core, flooding it with chaotic energy.

From the heart of Planet Earth, Flora channeled the planetʼs soul, spreading Mother Earthʼs essence throughout the mech as though it were her own body.

Tsukuyomi and countless other gods merged with machines and moons from Genesis and Earth alike, forming a rotating moon that trailed behind like a cape of glowing starlight. Aura the System Master and Lucifer manifested behind it as an aura of pure radiance.

”W-What is that thing?! S-So strong?!”

The Sun God nearly retched from sheer terror. The pressure was unlike anything he had ever felt.

And that was only the beginning.

With Earth as its core, every Dimensional Fragment, Heavenly Domain, and Corrupt Domain once absorbed by the Labyrinth of Madness fused into its frame.

Kireina wove her power through it, linking her Pillar of Celestial Enlightenment to the Planes of Souls, Netherworld, Dreams, Chaos, Spirits, Fate, Ki, and countless others—forging dimensional armor around the colossus.

Mother Khaos and Father Lord Chaos fused with its outer shell, transforming it into something sinister and demonic: razor-sharp edges, gaping jaws, and glowing red jeweled eyes.

Kireinaʼs Beasts roared, mechanizing and merging into a second radiant golden mech. Kireina leaped atop its head.

”This is the power we have forged. This is the strength of my Myriad Forms and Connections, Sun God… Sister!”

Across time and space, Kireinaʼs piercing gaze saw what the Sun God had already forgotten.

”T-THIS IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT! DO YOU THINK A PIECE OF METAL IS GOING TO—NNNGGHH?!”

The Sun God shrieked as a colossal golden sword impaled his gigantic form, ripping through him.

At the same moment, the second mech unleashed a blade of pure darkness, slashing through the opposite half of the sun.

”Abyssal Sword of Eternal Infernal Heavenly Purgatory!”

Mammon and Frank roared in unison, merging angelic and demonic power into a cataclysmic barrage. The sword tore through the galaxy-sized sun.

On the other side, Kireinaʼs fused familiars swung their radiant blade, carving deeper and deeper.

”GAAAAHHHH!”

The Sun God screamed, burning his own lifeforce and soul in desperation. His sun-shaped form twisted into a towering humanoid clad in holy golden armor, six arms wielding enormous blazing weapons, a falcon-shaped helmet crowning his head.

”YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME?! KNOW THE WRATH OF THE SUN GOD, HELIONIDAS!!!”

He roared like a madman, assaulting both mechs with everything he had. He drew power from a mysterious source he never questioned, slowly regaining momentum.

”Come on, Dad!”

”Yes, dear.”

The Dragon King of the East Sea merged his authority with the oceans of Earth and every connected Plane and Dimension within the great Universal Machine, Deus Exodus.

The oceans surged into Rimuru, who swelled to titanic size. Emerging from Deus Exodus, she transformed into a swirling rainbow-colored sword.

Ailine and Colora painted vibrant colors across it, forging a shimmering rainbow path forward.

”Primordial Rainbow Seas Sword Of Beginnings and Openings!”

They roared together, swinging the blade in a devastating arc that clashed against the Sun Godʼs ultimate form. Cosmic explosions shook the universe without end.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

”Tsk!”

Overwhelmed once more, the Sun God clenched his teeth and fled, soaring higher and higher. They pursued relentlessly, slicing through his long-range dimensional sunlight sword-energy barrages.

”Damn it! Damn it! Get away! I am the strongest in this universeeeeee!”

Screaming, he smashed through the universal ceiling, shattering it to escape.

But in that instant—

TRUUUM!

”Guh?!”

A presence of unimaginable authority awakened. Gleaming white eyes opened across the infinite cosmos.

”The One!”

Kireina smiled, exhaling in profound relief. He had received her message after all.

”I am sorry, Sun God Helionidas, but I cannot allow you to harm my Universe any further!”

Thousands of galaxies fused into massive white chains that lashed around Helionidas, dragging him back into the universe.

At the same moment, Kireina summoned the chains she had once refined against her mother—now part of her own Heart Essence—and pulled with merciless force.

The Sun God desperately refined nearby stars into projectiles, hurling galaxies at her like deadly rain.

Deus Exodus and the Maximum King roared in unison. The twin mechs impaled him from both sides.

”GAAAAHHHH!”

He screamed in torment as Deus Exodus unleashed dozens of combined techniques, pushing everyoneʼs powers to their absolute limits.

Yet it still wasnʼt enough.

”NNNGGHH! GAAAHH!”

Even gravely wounded, the Sun God devoured stars and galaxies to regenerate, tearing chunks from the universal walls and consuming them—destabilizing the entire cosmos.

RUMBLE!

The universe shuddered violently. Panic swept across trillions of inhabited worlds and solar systems.

”Damn it! Heʼs breaking free!”

Kireina roared, surging forward at maximum size. She swung her sword with ferocious precision, slicing through his body and severing his arms in a desperate bid to stop him.

”Y-YOU WILL NEVER CATCH ME!”

The Sun God laughed maniacally as he burst out of the Universe.

Kireina refused to yield. She chased after him, the two colossal mechs thundering close behind.
