”Should be around there, thatʼs where they told me they saw a lot of dangerous-looking people. And someone got killed there by them, apparently theyʼve been killing people from our organization, small members that patrol the area or sell our own products,” Uzuki said.

”Hah? Damn bastards, who do they think they are?!” Takamura said angrily. ”Maybe itʼs time for an all-out turf war! How about it, Sakamoto?”

”Hmm, stay calm Takamura, we have yet to completely know their intentions,” said Heisuke. ”And also, this is our fault too, weʼve been busy lately with various missions outside of the city, so weʼve left our territories unguarded… this is partially the faut of our own negligence, and you have to know, learn, and accept that weʼve not done well in protecting our place.”

”Tche, I know, I know dude,” Takamura rolled his eyes. ”Always talking like that… I guess youʼre the typical Japanese citizen, eh?”

”I merely am stating the facts, so the young lady can learn more,” he said with a gentle smile. ”Shall we go then? Perhaps walking wouldnʼt be good though, letʼs climb this building first.”

I stored the corpse again and then we climbed the building, I mostly flew using my wings though, by encompassing ourselves on an Illusion Phantom Veil that Uzuki conjured on the spot, we were undetected.

We stood above the building, admiring the beautiful city of Tokyo from the morning, the destruction done down below was minimal as it happened inside the Pseudo Domain, but it still left a bit of burn floor and cracked walls, so it was better to just run away.

Fixing it? Maybe it could have been done but we didnʼt really bother.

”Well, this is quite refreshing! Especially the nice, cold wind,” I said with a smile, glancing at the city. ”Donʼt you think?”

”Yes, itʼs quite beautiful,” said Heisuke. ”Young lady, this city… do you want it all for yourself?”

”Huh?” I looked at Heisuke, as he readjusted his glasses, his eyes glowing bright gold.

”Would you like to have it all for yourself?” he smiled, asking once more.

”I… well, it would be quite fun, right?” I giggled.

”Hmph,” he nodded. ”Truly, like your father…”

”Hey, I know you two are having a nice time but we better hurry,” Takamura said.

”Those people probably already know something happened to the one Sakamoto-san killed,” Uzuki said.

”Right, letʼs go then,” I nodded.

We stepped forward, rushing through the cityʼs skyscrapers, we passed right past the Tokyo Sky Tree, running down a less well-known place near the outskirts, in an abandoned construction site.

”There it is,” Takamura smiled. ”Yep, this is the place right Uzuki?”

”Infeed, Takamura-kun,” Uzuki nodded with a calm smile. ”Our Abilities really work well together.”

”Right? We make a great team you and me!” Takamura nodded. ”Ah right you havenʼt even seen what we can do in a fight yet, ojou-sama! Maybe itʼs time for us to show off, Sakamoto?”

”Sure thing, but first we must observe and then see if we can catch them off-guard,” Heisuke said, readjusting his glasses. ”Stay silent.”

We stayed silent, glancing from above the building at the interior of the abandoned construction site.

Inside, there were four people, three young men and a woman, they seemed to be talking about their earnings todays, while the woman noticed one of them wasnʼt around here yet.

”What happened? Whereʼs the that blonde idiot at?”

”No idea, he hasnʼt returned in a while.”

”Hmph, did he just go back home earlier?”

”Who cares?”

”I care.”

Suddenly, a fifth voice echoed through their surroundings, as a dark presence manifested out of nowhere, the same voice that spoke to that thug before transforming him.

Slowly, it took the shape of someone, although not completely visible, it seemed to resemble a young man with red hair…

And yellow eyes.

Wait…

”Red hair and yellow eyes!”

I looked back at Heisuke, as Takamura and Uzuki also realized this was the one that sold the drugs to that thug and probably did the same to them.

”He just appeared out of thin air? Is it some sort of teleportation spell?” Takamura asked.

”No, it feels much different, teleportation shifts space, I would have noticed,” said Heisuke. ”He simply appears and disappears… as if he turned into smoke.”

”Isnʼt that an ability Vampires usually have? They can turn into darkness, shadows, and mist…” Uzuki said.

”So heʼs really a Vampire then?” I wondered. ”Is he related with the Vampire Family then?”

”Weʼll have to see…” Heisuke said.

We continued listening to them.

”Y-You scared me…”

”Why did you just show up out of nowhere?”

”Youʼre really a vampire, huh?”

”Wow boss, did you bring us more drugs to sell?”

The vampire looked at them with disdain, as if glancing at mere walking and talking garbage.

In fact, it almost felt like he didnʼt even enjoy his job at dealing and talking with these puny humans.

Do Vampires from Tokyo even act like this? This guy is kind of weird…

He seems like someone that has never interacted or lived in a society mostly made of humans or was ever a human himself.

”I was going to do that yes, but thereʼs another issue! You idiots werenʼt careful enough, that bastard got caught.”

”What?!”

”He did?”

”B-By whom?”

”Who could…”

”Who else?! You didnʼt tell me this was Chaos Gateʼs territory! And just today they started patrolling!”

”They did?!”

”No way…”

”But I thought they abandoned the place…”

”Well not anymore it seems! And theyʼre probably already on their way here!”

As the vampire talked angrily, the four thugs… or more like junkies, started to panic.

”W-Wait, that canʼt be happening!”

”We have to get out of here…”

”Quickly, letʼs go!”

Heisuke glanced at us.

”This should be our chance, letʼs sneak behind that vampire and trap everyone inside a Domain, Iʼll create it myself,” he said. ”Hurry!”

We jumped at his commands, as we reached the construction site in a second, the vampireʼs eyes widened, as he saw the Domain rapidly form, twisting space.

”Dammit! Theyʼre already here?!”

As he panicked, his hand started glowing with a strange demonic stigma imprinted into it.

”If things have come to this, then you better be useful!”

As he said that, he pointed his hands at the drug dealers, rapidly releasing all the demonic power within them…

FLAAASH!
