After that barbeque with the family, we moved back home with Hydros and everyone else. Triton was getting sleepier, so his parents went to leave him in his cradle, while they went to wash clothes and prepare for tomorrow, leaving me and Hydros with plenty of free time. I had offered my help on various things, but they usually wanted to do everything on their own… I guess this is how it feels to be treated as a grandma.

The sun was already setting, and the day was coming to an end, the horizon glowed beautifully orange in color as the sun settled, Hydros was by my side, admiring the beauty of the sunset with a calm smile.

”Well it sure was a chaotic day today… but Iʼm glad things ended without many issues,” Hydros said.

”Has this ever happened before?” I wondered.

”I would be lying if it hasnʼt, sometimes things… more powerful divine beasts sneak into this island,” said Hydros. ”The Titans… Lady Gaia and the rest, who make this island and the surrounding ocean, usually protect us from them… but I guess they canʼt detect everything.”

”Well, they mightʼve arrived here much weaker and grew stronger over time, there are probably some loopholes to getting past their watch, and well, theyʼre also mostly dormant right now, theyʼre only fragments of the Titanʼs former beings,” I explained. ”Letʼs give them a break at least.”

”I suppose… But well, this is still your Inner Realm, right? Weʼre safe here regardless,” Hydros smiled.

”The bigger it gets… the harder it is to just watch over everything though,” I said. ”I cannot help everyone, even less prevent bad things from happen too. The bigger it is, the more expansive and taxing it would be for me to take care of things. I wouldnʼt have any time to do anything I do outside, for example.”

”I-I see…” Hydros seemed slightly worried. ”Then-”

”But donʼt worry! Youʼre not wrong, this world is indeed safe,” I nodded. ”These things will just sometimes happen. I am fairly sure that even if I didnʼt come here, you would have been able to defeat those octopus either way. This still a beautiful tropical paradise, compared to other places Iʼve gone to, this is just a nice place, even with the divine beasts lingering here and there. Itʼs just nature and nothing else, thereʼs not some evil villain or something, I absolutely donʼt let that ever happen, it is an isolated paradise from outside.”

”Is that so, well, thatʼs relieving… nature is indeed beautiful,” Hydros nodded. ”Although I now feel dumb that I showed you that whole hermit crab speech and then that happened… at the end surprising things can always happen out there, but… somehow, despite the danger, it was fun.”

”Youʼre not dumb, Hydros, that speech was beautiful, and I get what you meant,” I nodded. ”Iʼm happy here… with my daughter, my grandson, and well, with you. If anything, as you said, those little things that might sometimes happen are just fun, a way to spice life so we donʼt get too conceited. And it helped them grow pretty strong too, right? You also grew.”

”Y-Yeah… I… I did, well, youʼve also helped a lot, Kireina… I can hardly think of ways to even repay you now, Iʼve given you clothes and everything…” Hydros sighed. ”But… Um… I suppose… if youʼre interested… I… Well… No, never mind.”

”Hm?” I wondered. ”What~?”

Hydros started growing redder in embarrassment, as she seemed to be shy about muttering her words, even though it felt like it was something she really wanted to say.

”Come on, say it, thereʼs nothing wrong with it,” I said, holding her hand.

”I could… repay you in other ways?” she muttered, looking at me with her beautiful eye. ”Like… for example… in bed? I know that you left me long ago and that it is hypocrite for me to even ask for-”

”Heheh, youʼre so shy out of nowhere, Hydros… I remember when you were so eager to do it with me back then,” I said, holding her hand. ”Now youʼve become a lot shier! Is it because youʼre living on this isolated island only with a small tribe you created? Though, somehow, that makes you cuter.”

”Have I really changed that much?” she was surprised. ”W-Well, I… I mightʼve been too pushy back then, perhaps that was what made you walk away from me… Iʼm sorry.”

”Thereʼs nothing to be sorry about, and Iʼm honestly… I kind of want to try something too,” I said. ”We could rekindle that little ember we left behind… it was small, but it still gave birth to a daughter of mine. And now that weʼve been living together like this, Iʼve begun to fall for you~”

”F-Fall for me?!” she muttered, realizing what I truly meant, as I walked to her side, she was a few centimeters taller than me, but that didnʼt stop me from grabbing her hips with my arms and then, sneakily squeezing her big cheeks. ”A-Ahh…! K-Kireina-sama…!”

”Talking and talking got boring really quickly,” I said. ”Honestly, I would prefer that our bodies do the talking… should we go back to our dorm?”

She quickly felt something poking at her thighs, something coming from beneath my dress, which her single eye was staring at intensively.

She gulped saliva, nodding. ”O-Okay… gladly.”

We walked back to our room in the large, wooden cabin we had in this paradise island, and as we got there, closed the door, and I set up a barrier for noise, we started making out in an instant.

Hydros attacked me with passionate, sloppy kisses, her tongue entering my mouth as I sucked it, passionately grabbing her buttocks and not letting go of this gorgeous goddess.

”Hmm~ Ahh, Kireina-sama…! Do you truly desire me as much as I do?”

”I do… I really want you all for myself… Iʼm really glad that you never found another man or woman, I bet you still loved me, right~?”

”Y-Yes…! Iʼve never stopped loving you, Kireina-sama…!”

”What a good girl~ Come here now.”
