Chapter 2658 - 2659: The Next Morning

The next morning arrived without any issues, due to the time dilation in my inner realm, I can spend various days here in a night outside, so it was really nice.

The sun slowly rose from the window, as I found my cute Hydros sleeping soundly with an adorable smile on her face, her hair was all messy, and she was sweating all over due to the heat…

But god, she was gorgeous.

”Aahh… Uhh? Kireina? Good morning…”

She woke up almost at the same time as I did, smiling cutely as she sat down over the bed to greet me.

”Good morning dear.”

I kissed her lips, greeting her lovingly.

”Last night… was amazing…” she muttered. ”Thank you for showing me so much love… Iʼm so happy.”

”Ah, itʼs nothing… letʼs do lots of love every night from now on then, alright~?” I giggled, kissing her lips again.

”I would like to rest sometimes…” she muttered nervously. ”A-Ah? Eh?”

However, as she said that, I noticed her belly…

It was big?!

”Oh… looks like my eggs got fertilized quickly, fufu.”

”Eggs? Wait a second… how many…? Oh right, youʼre part fish.”

”Two… I think itʼs two, Iʼm pregnant again! Iʼm so happy… Amphitrite is finally getting the little sibling she always wished for!”

”Iʼm glad… Letʼs raise them well in this paradise then.”

”Hm! Yes! I love you so much!”

”I love you too…”

I kissed her lovingly as we cuddled… but at the end, we ended doing it again in the passion of the moment.

…

After a couple hours of sleeping some more, the bright sun woke me up, as I looked around the window from the bed, realizing the sun was all up in the sky, it was quite late.

”Hydros, time to wake up already…”

”Hmm… five more minutes…”

”Come on sleepyhead.”

I kissed her forehead and then her shoulders, before kissing her neck, but she didnʼt budge…

And then…

Ding!

FLASH!

”Eh?”

I suddenly noticed my body overflowing with more power, as I felt my Cosmic Power and Divine Power increase by a bit right away.

I guess thatʼs what happened after such a wild night, huh? But I suppose itʼs also an accumulation of various experiences, not just this.

But that wasnʼt everything, I noticed Cosmic Power flowing through Hydros body, mixing with her Great Goddess Divinity and improving it even further, without actually… making her a Supreme Goddess yet.

Huh? That was weird, it was as if she gained cosmic power without being affected negatively, which Iʼm really thankful for yeah, but also confused…

I mean, I suppose this is the best way to imbue it into others… well, those I love, of course. Maybe this way my unwilling Hydros, who doesnʼt want to grow strong or fight, can grow strong anyway.

Though the cosmic power she gained from me didnʼt seem to have elevated her immediately, instead it was simply absorbed by her body, turning her stronger without increasing her Great Goddess Divinity that much, although it did make it stronger, not as much as it should have.

Which brings the question, what does this power truly do?

Probably something completely new, enhancing her power and magical abilities without elevating her further… like a ”false” cosmic god?

Like Noah…

”Huh… Oh well.”

I stretched, walking out of our little love nest, as I went to the nearby spring, finding Amphitrite and Triton taking a bath there.

”Ah, sorry, I didnʼt know it was already…”

”Itʼs fine.”

My daughter looked at me with a nonchalant expression.

”If you want to use it, use it…”

”Grandma! Hi!”

Triton greeted me while his mother was washing his little body.

”Hi! Letʼs take a family bath then!”

SPLASH!

I jumped into the cold waters of the spring, feeling refreshed. I wanted to get a quick wash, but little Triton swam towards me and started splashing me with water.

Naturally I couldnʼt resist my cute grandson, so I also splashed him with water and we both played for a little while.

”Youʼre really good with kids I guess…”

My daughter glanced back at me while I played with her son.

”A-Ah, yes, I do have… a lot.”

”Hm…”

”…”

Our relationship was improving, we could talk now, but it was still awkward.

I guess it wonʼt be improving any time, thereʼs still a lot yet to talk about, address, and more.

But…

”Thank you, Amphitrite, for trusting me so far… For letting me enjoy time with my cute grandson.” I said with a gentle smile. ”And thank you for letting me talk with you now.”

”…You donʼt have to thank me for something like that,” she sighed. ”Triton letʼs get going. We have to go make breakfast…. Or I guess we should have lunch, itʼs pretty late now.”

”But I wawt to pway with grandma some mowe!” Triton complained.

”Dear, youʼve played enough…” she sighed, grabbing him and carrying him around. ”…Howʼs mom? Is she still sleeping?”

”Y-Yeah,” I nodded nervously. ”Sheʼs… um, tired.”

”…?” she thankfully didnʼt guess why her mother was tired. ”Once she wakes up bring her along for lunch…”
