Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1193: Prepping the Patient ( 1193 )

After Liana and Javier got ready, they headed to the second zone.

When they arrived, Myra and her two team members were already waiting, dressed in sterile surgical scrubs, caps, masks, and clogs, their hair neatly secured and their hands freshly cleansed.

”Your Highness.” Myra and the three of them bowed gracefully while Gracelle’s stretcher stood beside them.

Javier nodded and checked the monitoring devices and other equipment tracking her vitals and condition. ”Mm...” He looked at Myra and the other two. ”Looks like you’re all ready. We’re now in the zone I call the Holding Bay. This is where we prepare the unconscious patient for surgery.”

He gestured toward Gracelle. ”Here, we’ll perform patient induction and preparation. First, we’ll do a mechanical scrub of the area with a sterile brush and antiseptic solution. After that, we’ll apply a final chemical prep, over the entire surgical field. We’ll let it dry completely before proceeding. This ensures the area is as clean and sterile as possible before we make any incisions.”

He glanced at each of them, his tone calm and instructional. ”We’ll do all of this here, ensuring she’s fully prepped before we move her into the operating room.”

Myra and the others nodded. ”We’ll wait for your instruction, Your Highness.”

Javier nodded and turned, glancing at Liana. ”Liana?”

”Yes, Young Master?” Liana, already dressed in full medical attire like Myra and the others, complete with a face mask, looked up at him.

”You’ll assist me in removing her clothes so we can change her into a suitable surgical gown. Since I’ll be instructing all of you step by step, seeing Gracelle naked is necessary for the procedure.”

Liana smiled. ”Don’t worry about it, Young Master. I understand.”

Javier nodded. He snapped his fingers, and several already-sterile items materialized on a nearby table.

”Myra, please help me remove the patient’s dress. If it gets stuck, carefully cut it with the magic scissors prepared on the table.”

”As you command, Your Highness.”

They carefully removed the blanket covering Gracelle, then slowly began to remove her clothing, revealing her pale, delicate skin, her small breasts exposed, her nipples soft and pale. They worked carefully, cutting away the fabric where needed, until she lay completely bare, her slender body exposed from her collarbone down to the gentle curve of her hips and the soft, bare skin of her pussy.

”Make sure the cut fabric is collected and placed in the designated contamination bin.”

Myra and the others began to gather the fabric, placed it into a bag, and moved it to the designated bin.

”Change your gloves to new ones.”

”As you command, Your Highness.”

”Mm.” He moved closer and looked at Gracelle, while Liana, standing beside him, observed her body.

She saw her skinny frame, her ribs faintly visible beneath her pale skin, her collarbones prominent, and her hips delicate.

Liana narrowed her eyes.

Gracelle still has good assets that are likely Young Master’s favorite. Not only that, she still has beautiful skin despite being sick.

And she noticed dark, twisted veins spreading across Gracelle’s stomach, pulsing faintly with a sinister energy.

”Young Master?”

”Mm... this...” Javier pointed with his finger, ”is likely where the curse parasite is living. According to Father, it’s a curse parasite. That’s why these...” He pointed toward the six glowing white cubes floating beside the bed, ”are there to prevent it from trying to escape or risking it spreading to infect others.”

He glanced at Liana before looking at Myra and the other two. ”This is why I insisted on you wearing the magical scrubs and protective gear we have now. Since we don’t know much about the nature of this parasite, it’s better for us to be prepared.”

”Myra?”

”Yes, Your Highness?”

Javier glanced at the monitoring device. ”Ensure you check the vital signs. If they drop rapidly or give a red warning, tell me immediately. Since this area is cold and our patient is now naked while we’re doing the next step, we need to monitor her closely.”

Myra nodded.

Javier glanced at Liana and Myra’s two assistants. ”We’re going to do what I call an Initial Body Clean, a bed bath. But we won’t use water here. Instead, we’ll use these.” He pointed toward the table where sterile antiseptic wipes were laid out. ”These are antiseptic wipes. We’ll use them to properly clean her body.”

He took one of the wipes and opened it. ”You all will clean every area except the infected one. I’ll personally handle the area there. There’s no second-time use for the wipes. Once you use one, you cannot reuse it on the same spot.”

He demonstrated, starting with Gracelle’s face, wiping gently from the center outward, then moving to her neck, shoulders, and arms. He showed them how to clean in smooth, overlapping strokes.

”Start from the cleanest area and move toward the dirtier ones. Use gentle pressure, avoid rubbing harshly, and ensure each wipe covers a single pass. For sensitive areas like her breasts, wipe gently around the nipples without direct contact. For her legs and thighs, wipe downward toward her feet. Always using a fresh wipe for each section and discarding it immediately after use.”

After they all finished the bed bath around the safe areas, Javier reached for new wipes and channeled his Purify skill. A soft, glowing white light enveloped his gloved hands as he carefully wiped the infected area on her stomach, changing wipes after each section until it was clean.

”Mm... now the bed bath is done. Next is the hair prep. All her hair must be tucked completely into this blue paper cap. Stray hairs are a major source of infection.”

Liana, Myra, and the other two watched as Javier gathered all of Gracelle’s hair, tucking it neatly and securely into the cap.

”Now, after all that’s done, before we proceed to the next step in this holding bay, make sure you all wash your hands, change your gloves, and throw the used ones into the designated bin. Then put on new ones.”

Liana, Myra, and the others nodded, moving toward the sink and waiting in line to wash their hands thoroughly with the soap prepared earlier. Meanwhile, Javier began wiping down the stretcher with fresh antiseptic wipes.

After they finished washing their hands, they put on new gloves and returned to Javier.

”Now, the next step is to ensure she’s wearing the patient surgical gown.”

”Yes, Your Highness.”

”Now, you all help me.” Javier demonstrated how to carefully lift Gracelle’s upper body and slide the gown onto her, adjusting it to cover her properly.

”Myra, get the warm blanket and cover her feet.”
