Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1153: The Glowing Elven Dish ( 1153 )

Liana finished arranging the food on the serving trolley.

Mimi, who had just finished her second steak, licked her lips while eyeing the remaining steaks on the plate.

Liana gave Mimi a sidelong glare as she reached for the stainless steel cloche to cover the food.

”No... that’s for Young Master. Now that you’ve finished eating, go back to Young Master’s room and wait there.”

”Eh?” Mimi pursed her lips, about to protest, but Liana placed the cloche over the trolley with a firm look.

”Go now, or I won’t cook another meal for you after this.”

Mimi gave her hopeful eyes, her tail swaying gently.

”No.” Liana raised one finger, her other hand on her hip, then pointed toward the door. ”Go to Young Master’s room. Now!”

”Nya! Fine...” Mimi pouted, slid down from the stool, and stomped softly as she dragged herself out of the kitchen.

”M. i. M. i.”

”Eeeppp!!! Okay, okay!” Mimi yelped and scurried out of the kitchen in a rush after Liana’s aura flared slightly.

Liana exhaled softly after seeing Mimi rush out of the kitchen. She noticed the Armand household maids were already gathered around the other trolleys, ready to serve.

I guess it’s time to serve Young Master again.

She checked the food: the special Elven dish, the Elven fruit drink, and the utensils, a polished silver fork and knife, placed neatly beside the plate. Everything was arranged with care.

Mm... perfect. She glanced at the trolley again, smiled, and reached for a clean linen napkin, folding it neatly and placing it beside the plate.

She began pushing the trolley, while the other household maids followed behind her with their own trolleys.

Meanwhile, Mimi, who had just rushed out of the kitchen, stopped and exhaled.

Nya... Liana can be scary sometimes.

She glanced around the hallway.

I want to go where Husband is, but scary Father-in-law is also there, nya~

Nope... no way. He’s too scary.

Mimi began to walk down the hallway, her steps light and carefree, her tail swaying gently behind her as she hummed a soft, cheerful tune, occasionally peeked into open rooms or paused to admire a decorative vase.

I wonder what I should do today?

Hmm~ Since Husband isn’t busy like before, maybe we can play or laze around together...

I want to go out and visit the market, but Father-in-law mentioned not to leave the estate until the celebration month ends.

Which is five more days~

With the upcoming Aelius and Athine wedding, and after that, the beauty maid contest~

Ehehe... After that, we can go somewhere, maybe visit Gaze City Market, or go fishing in the lake~

So many things to do~

Or maybe... more journeys, Nya! Tehehehe~

”Nya~ Nya ~ Nya~” She sang softly while skipping lightly down the hallway, her tail swishing happily.

She paused, placing a finger on her lips thoughtfully.

Nyaaaa~ Yesterday, Delya was with Husband. Liana mentioned she was going to become a woman~

Mimi grinned, tail flicking with playful energy, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Guess it’s time to visit that demon girl~

While the discussion in the private office continued, a soft knock sounded at the door.

Javier glanced toward the entrance, while Alf and Erinette moved smoothly to the door, their hands resting lightly behind their backs.

Garius, who was holding one of the reports, spoke in his usual calm, authoritative tone. ”Come in.”

Alf and Erinette opened the door, stepping aside with practiced grace.

Liana stepped forward, gracefully pushing the trolley, followed by the other household maids who stopped respectfully behind her. She moved to the side of her trolley, clasped her hands in front of her, and bowed deeply.

”Your Majesty,” she said, her voice respectful and clear. ”The meal for the family has been prepared and is ready to be served.”

Garius clasped his hands together, resting his elbows on the table and leaning forward slightly, his lips just behind his intertwined fingers.

”Liana?”

”Yes, Your Majesty.” Liana bowed again, her posture poised and respectful.

”You shouldn’t be doing this anymore. Soon, you will be my daughter-in-law,” Garius said, though his expression remained stern, a faint trace of amusement in his eyes.

Liana bowed once more, her tone humble yet firm. ”I am still Prince Javier’s personal maid until the time comes, Your Majesty. Serving the family has always been my honor and duty.”

Garius just shook his head slightly and glanced at Javier. ”You better appreciate and cherish her, Javier. A woman like her doesn’t come by easily.”

Javier just looked at Liana from where he sat.

Fransesca, who was beside Garius, chuckled softly. ”That’s true, honey bun~” she teased, her eyes sparkling with affection. ”You make sure you treat her right.”

Her expression turned serious, though her smile remained, carrying a faint, terrifying edge. ”You make sure she becomes your bride when the time comes.”

”Y... yes, esteemed Mother. I know...” Javier shook his head, exhaled, and smiled faintly.

Mylezra just smiled warmly. Eridith grinned, while Garcinia and Penelope glanced at each other, sharing a knowing look of amusement and fondness.

Garius glanced at Liana again. ”Very well. You may serve the food now.”

”Thank you, Your Majesty.” Liana bowed gracefully, then stepped back to the trolley’s handle, guiding it smoothly toward Javier’s seat.

The household maids began serving the rest of the family, moving with practiced efficiency as they placed plates before them.

Liana smiled softly as she began her graceful routine. She first placed a crisp, white linen napkin beside Javier’s plate, then set down polished silver utensils with a gentle clink. With a fluid motion, she lifted the stainless steel cloche, revealing the meal beneath in a small, elegant flourish.

She leaned in slightly and whispered once the food was fully unveiled, ”Young Master. Eat. I cooked this specially for you.”

Javier looked at the plate: three perfectly seared steaks, a carefully arranged Elven fruit dish sprinkled with edible stardust that made it shimmer softly, a glowing fruit drink in a crystal glass, glowing side dishes, and a small, intricate dessert in a delicate porcelain cup.

Everyone glanced at Javier’s meal from their seats, their eyes widening slightly.

”Ara~ Liana? Isn’t that...” Francesca smiled knowingly before glancing at Mylezra. ”Mylezra~”

”Mm... yes...” Mylezra smiled softly. ”The Elven Special Dish, prepared for one’s true love and destined soulmate.”

Garius and the others stared at the glowing meal, its soft light casting a gentle glow over Javier’s place before Garius turned his gaze to Mylezra. ”Why didn’t I get one?”

Mylezra lowered her eyes slightly, a graceful, elegant blush touching her cheeks. ”We... umm... were busy before... so... umm...”

Fransesca chuckled softly. ”Make sure you cook one for our husband later.”

”Yes... Big Sister. I will,” Mylezra replied, her voice soft but sincere.
