”Feng Shui?”

Lord Yelu slightly furrowed his brows and followed up, ”Zhou Yi is profound and complex, and my understanding of it is limited—do you wish to discuss Feng Shui with me?”

Tang Ziyue said, ”Yes and no, Lord, please look. What do you think of the Feng Shui of this place?”

Looking around, Lord Yelu saw trees in front and a river behind, and he couldn’t help but frown—this place didn’t look very auspicious!

Tang Ziyue said, ”Lord, you must have spotted the problem as well. Correct, this has traditionally been a geomantic treasure spot, often located by mountains. Burial near mountains blesses descendants, but burial near water is a major curse.”

”Especially this place!”

Tang Ziyue pointed around and said, ”Lord, please look, this place is so close to the river. Once the flood season comes, the water will surely wash this place away. By then, the coffins will be submerged in water. A Treasure Cave inundated with water is an extreme curse.”

Hearing this, Lord Yelu looked left and right, at the river, and at the coffins, and asked with a frown, ”What exactly are you trying to say?”

”Lord, don’t you find it odd? Who doesn’t seek to bless their descendants when burying them? Yet, this place forms a cursed grave. Could it be out of fear that Tara’s family might prosper too much? This is illogical!”

Mu Ge interjected, ”Tara’s family has been wiped out. There are no descendants.”

Tang Ziyue was speechless.

”That’s even more bizarre. What Feng Shui Master would choose such a terribly inauspicious burial site? Isn’t this very strange?”

Lord Yelu said, ”Continue.”

”But, Lord, I took a closer look just now. If we don’t consider this place from a Feng Shui perspective, the location they’ve chosen is actually excellent. This place is truly a transportation gem.”

”Just place some ships on this Mianshui River, and once the coffins arrive, they can directly dump the weapons on the ships and pull away with the current. In less than two hours, they could join the main flow of the Mianshui River and thus travel northward, providing the Northern Zoroastrian Sect with weapons.”

”Additionally, Lord, you must have seen this arrowhead earlier. They claimed it belonged to Tara when he was alive, but upon closer inspection, you will notice the arrowhead is recently tempered, made no more than five days ago. This new arrowhead, combined with the fact that the notch shows no wear, suggests that it hasn’t been fitted on an arrow shaft. Don’t the Mulan people require their bows to have personalized shafts?”

”So I have reasons to suspect that this arrowhead likely dropped at the scene accidentally during their activities.”

Lord Yelu fell silent for a moment and then said, ”All these are your unilateral assertions. How can you expect me to believe you? How can I be sure that you aren’t colluding with the Zoroastrian Sect?”

Tang Ziyue replied, ”Lord, your suspicion is valid. At this time, no one can claim absolute innocence. But Lord, we’ve already been caught red-handed by you, and we’ve accepted our punishment. We have no reason to stir up the past and draw your attention again.”

”If I were with the Zoroastrian Sect, I would stay hidden and silent, not expose myself as I am doing in front of you, Lord. With your wisdom, the more we show, the more flaws appear, the more easily you can spot inconsistencies, hence why I boldly speak out!”

Lord Yelu looked at Tang Ziyue; he was indeed persuaded, for Tang Ziyue’s proposal was indeed novel and highly feasible. If he were a demon from the Zoroastrian Sect, he too might use such a tactic.

Using Mulan coffins to transport weapons to the riverbank and then load the weapons onto ships to flow downstream, joining from this Mianshui River tributary into the mainstream, and then proceeding up the Mianshui River to the North.

Once in the North, these weapons would become tools for the Zoroastrian demons to kill Mulan warriors—all due to his own sins.

Thinking this, Lord Yelu’s brows knitted tightly and he said, ”Tang Ziyue, are you suggesting that the batch of weapons has already left the city, or even possibly traveled beyond Mianshui by the river?”

Tang Ziyue replied, ”Lord, it’s highly likely that the weapons have left the city, but as for departing beyond Mianshui, I believe not yet.”

”Oh, elaborate.”

Lord Yelu looked towards Tang Ziyue, who explained, ”To transport to the North, ordinary boats won’t suffice; it needs slightly larger merchant ships, and currently in Mianshui County, only three powers possess such ships.”

Lord Yelu narrowed his eyes and said, ”Guild Cao, Fishing Guild, White Tiger Hall?”

Tang Ziyue affirmed, ”Exactly. These three almost monopolize the entire Mianshui shipping business. Among them, Guild Cao has the most ships, followed by our Fishing Guild and White Tiger Hall.”

”Oh, you mean that to get the weapons out of the city, they must use these three groups’ ships. Hence, if we stop these ships, they will have a hard time moving them out of Mianshui, making them like turtles trapped in a jar?”

Tang Ziyue laughed and said, ”Exactly right.”

Lord Yelu nodded slightly and remarked, ”Hmm, you are quite clever!”

Tang Ziyue said, ”Thank you for the praise, Lord Yelu. This is simply what I should do.”

Lord Yelu stated, ”If things are as you say, I will award you the primary merit.”

”Lord, I do not care about merit; I only hope you can give our Gang Leader a chance. This time, our Gang Leader was indeed framed. Please discern the situation, Lord.”

Tang Ziyue bowed; Lord Yelu frowned and looked at Tang Ziyue, asking, ”Are you trying to trade your suggestion for your Gang Leader’s future?”

Tang Ziyue replied, ”No, I merely hope to give our Gang Leader a chance. After all, whether it’s inspecting the cargo ships or searching for suspicious vessels on water, these tasks are our Gang Leader’s specialty. Please allow him a method to undo his wrongdoing!”
