The Versatile Master Artist

Anna was still pondering the name in her mind.

The deep voice of the current Chairman of Oil Painting, Sir Brown, interrupted her wild thoughts.

”Ladies and gentlemen.”

Sir Brown clapped his hands.

”The time is almost up. Everyone here is a familiar face, so there’s no need for excessive introductions. Unfortunately, our old friend Mr. Sinek is absent from today’s meeting because he’s tied up with a ministerial meeting between the European Union Culture Bureau and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Education of Spain this week.”

Chairman Brown nodded towards the young lawyer seated at the end of the long table: ”Fortunately, dear Mr. Sinek has also sent a proxy to execute his shareholding rights.”

”The rest of the important shareholders of Oil Painting Magazine are all present. There’s no need for pleasantries. You are the most outstanding and exceptional talents in the entire field, and it’s an honor to work with you. However, before we begin, there is one thing I’d like to particularly emphasize—”

With silver hair, wearing a perfectly tailored suit, and dressed like a hereditary aristocratic member of the Upper House, Chairman Brown stood up and looked around.

He slightly cleared his throat.

”Everyone is aware that we are a magazine undergoing an important transformation.”

”I believe that the vast majority of people sitting next to me have enough courage to take responsibility for their decisions and are willing to demonstrate our collective determination to usher Oil Painting into a more brilliant new era.”

The Sir’s gaze passed over the two girls across from him and swept over the silhouettes of well-known experts and scholars seated beside him.

”Based on this, I hope that regardless of the outcome, all shareholder resolutions from this meeting, the meeting log, and everyone’s signatures on the votes will be made public. Furthermore, as part of the magazine’s development plan, this information will be sent to the email inbox of every Oil Painting magazine subscriber.”

The chairman extended a forefinger: ”This is our first proposal today.”

In the corner of the meeting room.

An already present clerk was typing rapidly on a laptop, documenting every word spoken by the chairman.

The room fell into a brief silence.

The men were silent for a moment, exchanging a meaningful look.

Oil Painting Magazine is not a publicly listed company. These shareholders collectively own 100% of it.

It has no obligation to disclose financial reports or development plans to the public.

Moreover, this proposal did not even appear on the shareholder meeting log.

Strictly speaking, this unexpected ambush, without prior notice, even verges on violating related company law statutes.

Yet not a single person pointed this out.

They are all smart people.

Sir Brown is indeed a cunning old fox with deep strategic foresight.

The proposal he put forward to share today’s shareholder meeting content with every magazine audience is very shrewd.

What could more clearly demonstrate the magazine’s determination to change than a document endorsed by so many top experts’ signatures?

Simultaneously,

This also means that once the shareholder meeting’s resolution is publicly disclosed, they will be seen in the public media as being in the same boat with each other.

Everyone signed their names on the resolution to oust the Ilyena family.

They’ve made a very clear cut now, leaving no room for maneuver in the future.

Not signing?

Ha, if you don’t sign, then figuring out ways to get kicked out of the management may not only happen to that young girl across the long table.

Leaning towards the Lv Clan on the right, leaning towards the Liu Clan on the left.

Either choose the new forces represented by Kruger Brothers Bank or choose to leave along with Miss Elina.

There is no room for fence-sitters to gain benefits from both sides!

If we earn money, we do it together.

And if there’s any issue in the future, don’t think of kicking out Sir Brown alone to take the blame.

However,

With so many pillars of the art world standing shoulder to shoulder, how could there be any real possibility of capsizing?

”I agree with Sir Brown’s proposal. Everyone, since you came here, it seems you all share the same belief. If we wish to stride forward, let’s not be timid or apprehensive; what needs to be let go must be let go. I believe that shortly, today’s shareholder meeting will forge a new myth of wealth.”

Mr. Hlefe from the United States raised his hand, ”It will become a milestone like Philadelphia Declaration in the art world, a milestone liberating the magazine from under Ilyena family’s dominance, and we will all proudly sign it.”

This rotund elder, filled with North American adventurous spirit, has been Sir Brown’s biggest supporter among the magazine’s shareholders.

He was the first to echo the chairman’s proposal.

The rotund elder turned to look at Anna across the table, shrugged, and spread his hands: ”I’m sorry, beautiful Miss Elina. We all understand this is not personal animosity.”

”If you are willing to change your mind and stand with us, I am willing to kneel down and kiss the back of your hand.” Hlefe made a rather comical facial expression.

Under his lead,

Shareholders began to raise their hands.

It was something already decided upon before attending the meeting, leaving nothing to hesitate about now.

Even Professor Yingji and the proxy lawyer representing Sinek’s shares eventually raised their hands.
