You call this a projection?

”Yes, we cannot enter.

Even if your [Future Vision], Shirou, has confirmed that as long as we enter these spaces—which contain multiple dimensions—we can resolve the abnormality in the ley line’s magical energy by defeating beings within them that are similar to Servants...

But facing this kind of situation, which involves the Second Magic and parallel world traversal, it is simply not something we have the capability to solve.”

Or rather, if she truly had the ability to resolve this problem, the Tohsaka family would not still be merely nominal disciples of Zelretch to this day, unable to even complete the assignments left behind by him. If Tohsaka Rin could do something like this, she could fully become a true disciple of Zelretch and the heir to the Second Magic. If that happened, would she still need to worry about not having enough money like she does now?

Rin, who had this thought suddenly flash through her mind, shook her head fiercely to suppress the tempting idea.

She wiped the drool from the corner of her mouth and said, ”Given how much time has passed, the reason the other side still hasn’t been able to come over is probably because of this, too.

Otherwise, based on the images you saw using [Future Vision], Shirou, the other side should be even more anxious than us.

But until now, let alone a second visitor from a parallel world besides Miyu, even those ’pseudo-Servants’ who are causing the ley line magical energy anomalies haven’t come out from those multiple spaces.

Clearly, they are isolated by this multi-dimensional space, just like we are.”

The Servants summoned by Class Cards and the multi-dimensional spaces where these Servants reside—this is the ”Mirror World.”

Just as the name suggests when understood literally, it is a mirror image of the real world. It is like a world located behind a mirror. This was how Rin Tohsaka and the others initially understood the Mirror World in the original Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya.

If not for Emiya Shirou’s spoilers, the Rin of this world would probably have reached that same conclusion.

But now, having learned what this was all about from Emiya Shirou, both Tohsaka Rin and Bazett—who was not particularly skilled in magical theory—knew that the Mirror World was, in the end, just a place similar to a bridge, used to link two parallel worlds.

It was a passage that remained after Miyu traveled to their world—a path that allowed travel between the two parallel worlds during the brief moment when their world and Miyu’s world collided and touched, but had not yet completely separated.

In other words, not only could they enter the Mirror World from their own world, but the Ainsworth family from the world where Miyu Edelfelt originally belonged could also enter the Mirror World and use it as a transit station to reach their world.

Of course, this was something the Ainsworth family could only achieve once they possessed the ability to traverse parallel worlds.

”Although I don’t think the Second Magic is something common.

On the contrary, even with this multi-dimensional space serving as a passage linking our two worlds, making parallel world traversal between our two worlds much simpler...

Even if there is a Zelretch in Miyu’s world, just like how the Zelretch in our world unexpectedly chooses not to intervene...

Those like Zelretch, who possess the Second Magic and can communicate with their parallel-world selves, might have reached some sort of agreement.

Otherwise, with Zelretch’s influence in the Mage’s Association, it would have been impossible for us to hide Miyu’s existence.

The fact that Miyu hasn’t been in trouble until now is, in a sense, a form of tacit approval.”

Just as Shirou had thought a lot when he heard that the Mage’s Association, and especially Zelretch, had uncharacteristically not intervened in this incident, Rin—whose ancestors of the Tohsaka family had been taught a few tricks by Zelretch and who kept many small items related to him in their home, making her more familiar with the Second Magic—naturally thought of something from the fact that Zelretch would not intervene in this event.

Was it because Miyu Edelfelt’s arrival was just an accident?

As long as they ignored these Mirror Worlds, would they eventually be repaired under the world’s correction force?

Or was it because the influence this event could cause was limited only to Fuyuki City? Even if the Ainsworth family in Miyu’s world successfully traveled to their world, would they only take Miyu Edelfelt away and not stay in their world for long?

”...”

Rin, with these various possibilities flashing through her mind, finally chose to voice these speculations and asked Emiya Shirou: ”Shirou, do you think the mages in Miyu’s world would be capable of such a thing?

Even if the process becomes simpler, it is still, after all, parallel world traversal—the Second Magic that countless mages yearn for but cannot obtain.

With Zelretch certainly not participating, can someone really achieve the Second Magic?”

To be honest, if it weren’t for the Assassin of the Fifth Holy Grail War being the ”pseudo” Sasaki Kojiro—a master swordsman who could achieve effects similar to the Second Magic through swordsmanship alone—Rin probably wouldn’t even have this doubt.

”Regrettably, Rin, I’m not entirely sure about this question either,” Emiya Shirou said, shaking his head.

After all, the original work of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya was also very vague about why an eighth card appeared—in other words, why the plot involving the Gilgamesh Class Card held by Angelica occurred.

If this was because the Ainsworths specifically deployed the Class Card in order to track and locate Miyu Edelfelt, then why was Gilgamesh (child form), who accidentally gained a physical body and broke free from the state of being a Class Card, surprised to see the arrival of Angelica and the others? He seemed as if he hadn’t expected Angelica and the others to appear and traverse parallel worlds.

But if this was just an accident—if Miyu Edelfelt, under the wish of the Emiya Shirou in the other world, had accidentally taken away not just seven Class Cards, but also the eighth card held by Angelica, who only arrived at the ceremonial site later—that would be too coincidental.

The Gilgamesh Class Card that successfully traveled to the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya world accidentally pierced the barrier between the Mirror World where the Class Card was located and the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya world. It ran to the Great Hollow of Mount Enzou and, by once again unleashing his Noble Phantasm—[Enuma Elish]—used the power of this world-cleaving Noble Phantasm to break through the final barrier between the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya world and Miyu Edelfelt’s world, allowing Angelica and the others to successfully travel over and take Miyu Edelfelt away.

No matter how you look at it, this is simply too much of a coincidence...
