You call this a projection?

The Domain Expansion of the Jujutsu Kaisen world is very similar to the Reality Marble of the Type-Moon universe.

But it is only similar.

In reality, these two skills are fundamentally different types of abilities.

Or rather, the world manifested by a Domain Expansion uses the user’s own technique as a medium to overlay the surrounding space with cursed energy, allowing these spaces tainted by their cursed energy to become a part of the user’s technique.

In contrast, the deployment of a Reality Marble is based on the caster’s inner mental world; it is a subspecies of Marble Phantasm. It is a tangible dream capable of creating the thing the caster most desires to realize in their heart. It is not, like a Domain Expansion, a barrier expanded from one’s ancestral magecraft based on magic circuits (which are analogous to a sorcerer’s technique).

Since a Domain Expansion is merely a highly sophisticated barrier, it means it differs from a Reality Marble: it cannot truly displace the world. No matter how advanced a sorcerer’s barrier technique is, they will leave an object enveloped in cursed energy—similar to a sphere—at the caster’s original position in the real world.

This was the plan Kenjaku gave to Hanami.

Normally, destroying this domain sphere is extremely difficult. After all, it is a Domain, and the massive cursed energy filling it isn’t just for show. But because it is a Domain, the sphere inherits the Domain’s weaknesses.

”In other words, by using a special technique to expand your Domain from outside Jogo’s, you can open a hole that allows you to enter.

However, there is a side effect: this opening is two-way. While you can enter Jogo’s domain, Gojo Satoru and the others can also come out.

Even so, are you going to do it, Hanami? You should know that even with you and Jogo combined, you might not necessarily win against Gojo. I don’t recommend going to your death like this.”

These words from Kenjaku, along with the method he taught her on how to breach a Domain, suddenly flashed through Hanami’s mind.

Undoubtedly, although they were Cursed Spirits, the relationship between Hanami and Jogo was different from those brainless spirits.

They were companions—family.

Hanami could not leave Jogo in danger.

The problem was, she arrived too late. Even though they were both intelligent Special Grade spirits, Jogo was significantly stronger than Hanami. Hanami was simply unable, in that short window of time before Emiya Shirou defeated Jogo, to use her Domain to dismantle Jogo’s [Coffin of the Iron Mountain] and rescue him.

By the time Hanami wanted to act, it was already too late.

”As expected, there’s another one.”

Gojo Satoru still couldn’t figure out how Emiya Shirou had managed to kill Jogo so imperceptibly right under the nose of his [Six Eyes]. Even though he was still curious, he quickly followed Shirou’s gaze and looked toward the forest. ”To think Cursed Spirits of this level would actually start cooperating.

Emiya, I am now absolutely certain that what you said is true.

In my knowledge, there is only one person who could unite these spirits for cooperation—someone who was supposed to be dead, but if he weren’t, he would definitely be capable of such a thing!”

Gojo Satoru smiled. It was a very happy smile, and a very dangerous one.

While the [Six Eyes] ensured Emiya Shirou wasn’t lying, and they had established a Binding Vow, it didn’t rule out the possibility that someone was deceiving Shirou, making the ”spoilers” he provided false information. Gojo had seen many such cases.

But now, it was different.

Whoosh—

Thud...

!!

Hanami’s brain only had time to register a momentary daze. It was useless. By the time she tried to react, her head was seized by Gojo Satoru, who had appeared instantly before her.

Gripping her head so tightly it seemed ready to burst at any moment, Gojo shouted toward the surroundings: ”So, Suguru—or rather, the bastard currently piloting Suguru’s corpse—you’re watching me, aren’t you?

I don’t know what you’re planning, or if this attack on us has another purpose. But I know Suguru’s technique very well! [Maximum: Uzumaki], that’s the name, right?

[Cursed Spirit Manipulation] can not only drive spirits but also merge a massive number of them into a high-density cursed energy attack.

If you bombarded me with that high-density attack at the moment a Domain neutralized my [Limitless], I suppose even I might lose.”

As Gojo spoke, he continued to press inward, the pressure causing Hanami’s skull to let out a series of cracking sounds. ”Your purpose in collecting so many Special Grade spirits is exactly this, isn’t it?

Same with Ryomen Sukuna. You want to collect more spirits to charge the [Maximum: Uzumaki] within the body you’ve stolen!”

No, not even close.

When Gojo Satoru grabbed Hanami and called out Suguru Geto’s name, Kenjaku—occupying Geto’s body—truly thought he had been exposed. Or rather, that the Gojo clan had recorded his existence at some point in the past without him knowing.

After all, recording history is an instinct shared by nations.

Kenjaku, who had been killed several times by [Six Eyes] users in the past, had eventually retaliated. After outliving those users, he had killed the next [Six Eyes] holder while they were still an infant and took the opportunity to purge many of the Gojo clan’s historical records.

However, it was possible the purge wasn’t complete.

But now... although he didn’t know how Gojo Satoru knew of his existence in advance, Gojo’s guesses regarding his plan weren’t just a little bit off—not a single one was right.

Whether it was Jogo or Hanami, it didn’t matter how many of these Special Grade spirits died; it wouldn’t affect Kenjaku’s plan. He had allied with these intelligent spirits not because he ”lusted after their bodies”—to be precise, he only lusted after the body of one specific spirit among them.

The rest were beneath his notice.

’But... this misunderstanding is actually quite good~~’
