Ning An's Wild Wish System

What the hell!

Looking at the information on the panel, Ning An couldn’t help but shout, ”What the hell!”

It’s not that this way of granting wishes is bad, but it’s just too extreme, absolutely over the top!

This isn’t just a flash of inspiration, this is like a Buddha’s light suddenly appearing and enlightening the mind!

With this group, let alone crazy neighbors, even idiotic ones would have to obediently wear red scarves and get out of the way!

After the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, Zhao Yamei came out of the main hall.

Although she knew that the incense at Changchun Temple was effective, when it came to herself, she couldn’t help but feel anxious.

”Little Daoist, do you think my wish will come true?”

This kind of question, not to mention Ning An, even the viewers in the live stream have heard it countless times.

”Oh please, if you’re going to believe, then believe, if not, then don’t come. After burning incense, you ask if the incense is effective—it’s kind of silly, isn’t it?”

”Buddy, what you said, let me ask, who wouldn’t be a bit desperate when they come here, hoping for the protection of the patriarchs to fulfill their wishes?”

”Exactly, it’s easy for you to sit here and make snide remarks, but if it were you going up there to burn incense, who knows how nervous you’d be.”

”...”

The viewers in the live stream were buzzing, while Zhao Yamei started to detail her experiences.

Even though Ning An was mentally prepared, he couldn’t help but frown upon hearing about such a terrible neighbor.

This kind of rascal can’t be managed by property management, and the police don’t have the right responsibility. Even if they lock him up today, he’ll be the same menace once released tomorrow.

Throughout history, unless there’s a strict crackdown, rascals like these are not exactly lawless, but they do act wantonly.

As Ning An pondered, Zhao Yamei sighed again and said.

”Honestly, I’m at my wit’s end dealing with this kind of rascal.”

”You see, property management won’t take care of it, the police won’t deal with it, and I’m just an ordinary woman, what else can I do?”

Before Ning An could respond, a middle-aged woman among the incense burners offered a suggestion:

”Dear lady, call the fire department!”

”Based on what you’ve said, your neighbor must have occupied the fire escape, which is not compliant! Call the fire department; they will handle it!”

The live stream viewers, initially unsure, felt enlightened by the woman’s suggestion.

”Auntie makes a good point! If the fire escape is blocked, the firefighters definitely have jurisdiction.”

”Don’t even mention it, in today’s society, property management is like garbage, the police, we all know, but the fire department is different. If they face a violation in their domain, they will take action!”

”Yeah, well, who knows if this society is good or bad, but we just muddle through life as it is. Jumping off isn’t an option, right?”

”...”

The other incense burners appeared relieved; this seemed like a good approach.

But Zhao Yamei’s subsequent sigh shattered their thoughts.

”I’ve tried calling 119, but still nothing worked.”

”When I called, three or four firemen came straight away. These young men were still full of a sense of justice, and they frowned immediately at the messy hallway.”

”But when they knocked on his door and told him that his stuff was blocking the fire escape, he didn’t care; he just jokingly said it was his doorstep and he could put whatever he wanted, who were they to interfere.”

The woman who had just given suggestions also frowned:

”According to Article 28 of the Dragon Country Republic’s Fire Law, no unit or individual is allowed to occupy, block, or close evacuation passages, safety exits, or fire truck passages.”

”Let alone a mere little rascal, even if it escalated to the top, it’s still under the jurisdiction of the fire, unless the ones who went were young lads and couldn’t assert their authority?”

Zhao Yamei shook her head and continued, ”That’s exactly what the firemen said, so he had nothing to say, but he still wouldn’t tidy up.”

”The firemen pressed him to clear it all up, or else he’d have to pay a fine.”

”But being a rascal, he wasn’t willing when he heard about the fine, and started playing dumb, saying it wasn’t his stuff, someone else put it there, and he couldn’t get a single thing to respond.”

Even Ning An couldn’t help but ask:

”If he doesn’t claim the stuff, wouldn’t the fire just take it away and result in greater loss for him?”

Zhao Yamei looked somewhat helpless, nodding and then shaking her head, ”He probably thought of that too, so he cursed and reluctantly tidied up.”

”But just like with the police, once the firemen left, he started harassing with disgusting language at my door.”

”I reported to the police, but since he didn’t physically assault or damage property, even when the police came, they could only give him a verbal warning.”

”Once the police left, he just continued standing at my security door, hurling vulgar insults.”

”I really couldn’t take it anymore; I’ve tried every possible measure but to no avail, which is why I came to Changchun Temple to make a wish.”

After hearing Zhao Yamei’s words, the live stream viewers fell silent.

No matter who you are, going through such an ordeal is unbearable.

These brazen rascals, they neither physically harm you nor damage your property, yet they make it feel like your soul is being drenched in filth.

”Damn! I can’t believe this kind of shameless rascal still exists after so many years into the 21st century.”
