Ning An's Wild Wish System

The leader was a man in his thirties. Judging by his enthusiastic explanations to tourists, he was likely a native of the area.

According to group tour customs, guides will invariably arrange for tourists to buy something, or at least encourage them to spend more at the attractions.

Consumption projects at attractions are divided into two types: one involves fixed partner vendors, whether shops or stalls, and they all issue invoices and submit a portion of taxes;

The other type involves projects developed by local villagers, such as DIY ceramics, paid photography, and snacks, which the local government usually tacitly approves in scenic spots.

Enjiang Town is no exception. Villagers casually set up a table and some chairs from home to create a small stall, speaking with a thick local accent that adds a certain flavor to the attractions.

The leader brother gave a few instructions, and the tour group became bustling and lively.

Some rested where they were, some took photos, and two or three tourists brought picnic mats, sitting directly on the ground to replenish energy.

Among them were two little sisters dressed in early Tang dynasty Hanfu, who were uninterested in this and instead ran over to a nearby stall after saying goodbye to their parents.

This small stall was simple, with two rows of lovely white ceramics, a freshly opened paint palette neatly arranged on a square table.

Beside the table was a small easel, not far away were several completed sketches drawn in pencil, depicting the current scenery of Enjiang Town.

The owner of the stall was also a young lady in plain Hanfu, sitting seriously drawing the landscape on a folding stool.

The two little sisters exchanged glances, their eyes sparkling, as if dopamine was igniting.

They intended to join the fun, casually asking the stall owner to draw two pictures, ready to post on social media later.

They didn’t expect a scenic artist to be highly skilled, just hoped the artist was a normal art student who wouldn’t mess up too badly.

But after just one look, they couldn’t take their eyes off. The drawing was too good!

Each stroke outlined the landscape of Enjiang Town, almost as if it was photographed with a camera!

”Would the two sisters like to have a picture drawn?”

”Yes, let’s have one!”

The two little sisters sat down and posed as the stall owner instructed.

The shadows of the trees swayed, the greenery was lush, the water rippled, the fishing boats rocked, as light and shadow intermingled, creating a dreamy, enchanting scene.

”The sister on the left, your head is a bit high, lower it slightly, good, you’re great.”

”The sister on the right can place her hand under her chin, tilt your head slightly, yes, just like that.”

”That’s right, very good...”

Soon, two sketches were finished.

When the two little sisters picked up the drawing, they were instantly astonished. This was no ordinary sketch; it was as if it had been directly printed from a camera photo!

”Sister, how much is this...”

Excited, they turned to ask for the price, but discovered the smiling young lady was no longer there.

”Maybe she went to the bathroom?”

One little sister wondered, but was quickly enveloped in excitement again: ”Hui Yu, this art is amazing! My previous classical culture teacher’s drawings weren’t even this good!”

The little sister addressed as Hui Yu was also very pleased: ”Yes! Let’s show it to our parents first. We can pay the sister later when she returns.”

With that, they took their sketches into the crowd.

Hui Yu approached her parents, proudly saying, ”Dad, Mom, look how beautiful this art is.”

”Hui Yu, what art?” Her mom asked with a bit of confusion, looking at her empty hands.

”The drawing, Mom, look, it’s so good...”

”Slap!”

The sketch fell to the ground, her hand drooped weakly.

”Hui Yu, what’s wrong, are you feeling unwell?” Her mom’s voice instantly turned anxious.

”Feeling a bit dizzy, probably from sitting on the bus for too long, a bit sleepy.” The little sister yawned, feeling drowsy and as if two worlds were alternating in front of her eyes.

”Then rest for a while, Dad will block the sun for you.”

Her dad moved quickly, supporting her even before her mom finished speaking.

Then her mom laid out a picnic mat, and her dad gently lowered her onto it. As she lay down, two cries of surprise came from nearby:

”Angela?”

”Mom, I’m so tired...”

”Angela, what’s wrong, don’t scare mom.”

He turned around to see his daughter’s good friend, who was now collapsed on the ground, somewhat unclear-headed.

Such commotion naturally drew everyone’s attention.

The leader nearby hurried over but couldn’t ascertain the cause, and could only instruct the surrounding tourists:

”I’m very sorry, but everyone, please don’t wander off, wait for me to return.”

Then he turned, speaking quickly and suggesting to both sets of parents, his expression flustered: ”Please, don’t panic; let’s carry the kids back to the town. We have retired senior doctors here recruited at high cost, at the very least, they’re deputy directors from tertiary hospitals.”

Everyone quickly responded, and the two little sisters were urgently sent to the town hospital. Seeing such a situation, the seasoned doctor quickly came to see them.

But no matter how he examined them, he couldn’t determine the cause of the illness and could only say helplessly, ”We lack the equipment of a tertiary hospital here, and regretfully, my old eyes can’t determine the cause.”
