Ning An's Wild Wish System

Asking like that is simply insulting.

But Ning An couldn’t help but ask again, watching the Golden Retriever chewing cat food voraciously, even with tears in its eyes: ”What kind of feeding standard did the seller give you at the time?”

”The seller said that one or two ounces of dog food a day would be enough, and to reward a little food when training it.”

Wang Ruozhi had already given up fighting with the Golden Retriever and answered Ning An while panting.

”How much?”

This wasn’t Ning An speaking but Aunt Li exclaiming beside him.

”One or two ounces, what’s wrong?”

Wang Ruozhi looked at Ning An and Aunt Li, whose expressions were gradually turning strange, feeling somewhat puzzled.

He and the rich sister were strictly feeding the dog according to the seller’s method, even weighing the dog food every time with an electronic scale, ensuring exactly one or two ounces.

What’s strange about that?

Aunt Li pulled Ning An away, placed a hand on her forehead, stepped forward, and pointed at the Golden Retriever devouring crazily: ”How big was it when you bought it?”

”About two months old.” Wang Ruozhi had a good memory and answered right away.

”And how old is it now?” Aunt Li asked again with a sarcastic laugh.

”A year and two months.”

Wang Ruozhi still didn’t get it and answered foolishly.

Seeing this kid still confused, Aunt Li decided to change the question: ”Let me ask you, how heavy is an egg?”

”About fifty to sixty grams?” Wang Ruozhi was slightly unsure in his tone.

”Yes, an egg is about that much.”

Aunt Li nodded, then took out her phone and showed a picture of her British Shorthair: ”My cat, compared to your dog, which is bigger?”

”Definitely the Golden Retriever...”

”My cat eats less than other cats, but even so, it has to eat half a pound of cat food plus a can every day. How can you give this big dog only one or two ounces of dog food a day?”

Even before Aunt Li finished her sentence, Wang Ruozhi realized the problem, and by the end, his face had turned pale.

”How did it grow so big only eating that much?”

Looking at the Golden Retriever in front of him, Ning An thought, although it was a bit thin, it wasn’t much smaller than a normal Golden Retriever of the same age.

If it only ate one or two ounces of dog food a day, it shouldn’t have grown so big; even if it didn’t starve to death, its size wouldn’t be this big.

”The seller told us that if we wanted the dog to learn commands, we should reward it after it did the right move...”

Wang Ruozhi lowered his head and answered softly.

”So, it grew this big relying on the rewards?”

Ning An was speechless upon hearing this.

What the hell!

The dog being able to grow this big means the daily rewards weren’t too little, but surely not too much either!

This led to a problem: the dog never got enough to eat, but it also didn’t starve to death, always staying in a state of extreme discomfort in its stomach.

Forget the dog, even a person on a diet couldn’t bear that!

The online audience watching was also speechless.

”The dog keeps getting bigger, but the owner still gives one or two ounces of dog food a day, facepalm.”

”Such a big dog, one or two ounces of dog food per meal, makes one sad upon hearing.”

”Golden Retriever: Brother Sect Leader, don’t send me back, I can’t eat at home. I want to stay with you, I can avoid meat as long as I’m full.”

”Suddenly thought of the boy sent to ’Transformation Plan’, going to the countryside, kind-hearted, polite, grateful. It turned out because he couldn’t eat enough carbohydrates in the city, triggering irritability, dying of laughter.”

...

As the Golden Retriever’s frenzy continued, Wang Ruozhi’s face grew redder, but now the Golden Retriever was so into eating that it couldn’t hear commands.

Seeing Wang Ruozhi somewhat at a loss, Ning An stepped in to help: ”Since it likes to eat, let it eat to its heart’s content, but you should pay for the cat food.”

”I should, I should.” Wang Ruozhi breathed a sigh of relief, took his wallet out of his pocket, and walked over.

”There’s no need, none at all.” Aunt Li waved hands like tai chi, continuously refusing the money Wang Ruozhi handed over, while suggesting:

”Auntie has money, really has money at home, no shortage. Young man, listen to me, keep the money and buy some good food for your dog to replenish.”

Hearing this, the online viewers laughed even more.

”Effortlessly giving millions as Incense Money to the Grandmaster, wearing a watch worth tens of millions, but not feeding own pet well. If told, it could be a laughing stock.”

”Don’t say, this dog’s pedigree is definitely good. It eats just a little bit and still survives, and even like this, the dog only gets angry, no food aggression, emotional stability, admirable.”

”At first, I thought the Golden Retriever was fierce, turned out it was extremely hungry, hahaha.”

”Being so hungry and still not biting the owner, don’t say, when it has puppies, can I adopt one?”

”Start: owner sent a fierce dog;

End: Daoist Master starts to protect food and scolds the owner.”

...

Thanking profusely, Wang Ruozhi turned around to find the Golden Retriever had eaten all the cat food, lying on its side on the ground, belly large and eyes teary.

”My suggestion is to carry it down the mountain immediately to a pet clinic and be careful it doesn’t get bloated.” Ning An advised.

Recalling how he was panting when climbing up, Ning An kindly offered: ”If you need, I can lend a hand.”

”No need!”

Wang Ruozhi answered firmly, confidently displaying his muscles and said: ”My baby is much lighter compared to the weights I deadlift at the gym!”
