Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Everyone was surprised by this, including me.

After all, this wasn’t something that I had planned.

In fact, after seeing the uniforms that they were wearing, I was even more surprised by the ones that had suddenly burst in.

These were royal guards.

Why would royal guards suddenly show up in a place like this and perform a police raid?

It just didn’t make sense at all...

The boss of the establishment was the one that reacted first as he said, ”What are you idiots doing? Do you think that any of us will be able to get out of this place alive if you just stand there in a daze?”

Once his muscle heard this, they went forward to attack the royal guards.

It wasn’t as if they were planning on going all out against the royal guards, they were just using what they could to push them back and find a way to escape.

The problem was that they were completely outclassed.

It wasn’t as if simple thugs would be a match for the royal guards that were the elites of the Merman Kingdom. Royal guards like this would normally be in the royal castle and would rarely come out for things like this, so it couldn’t be blamed on them that they didn’t recognize them.

After all, no one would have thought that royal guards would come all the way here.

Seeing that his thugs were being completely oppressed, the only thing that the boss could do was try to find a hostage to fight his way out of here.

That was why he suddenly turned his attention to me.

The moment that he looked at me, I already knew what he was thinking and gave a secret sigh. It seemed that unless he saw death, he wasn’t the kind of person that would give up.

Of course, it wasn’t as if I was afraid of him.

”What do you think you’re doing to my man?!”

I didn’t even get a chance to do anything as a spear stabbed right into the boss.

This was a spear that had been thrown from a far distance and landed right on the boss’ back. The boss was actually lifted off the ground by the force that the spear had been thrown with and was pinned to the wall behind me.

A bitter smile appeared on my face when I saw this, but I already knew who it was that had thrown the spear.

With a sigh, I asked, ”What are you doing here?”

Since this person was here, it made sense that there would be these royal guards. If she were to come to a place like this, it would have been strange if royal guards didn’t follow her.

”I was worried.”

Though her words were simple, the way that she looked at me showed that she wasn’t happy about the way that I had treated this. The fact that I came to this place alone without even telling her meant that I was in trouble.

To be fair, it wasn’t as if I had expected things to go this far.

I had only thought that I would do a bit of gambling and then leave, I never expected them to bring me all the way here and to participate in this death game.

”Was there a need to be worried? You know how strong I am, it’s not as if they could do anything to me.”

Ariel swam over and put her head in my chest before saying, ”That doesn’t matter, I’d still get worried.”

I couldn’t help shaking my head with a wry smile, but there was nothing that I could refute this with.

At the end of the day, she was right that I was the one that had been reckless.

If I had let things end simpler, then things wouldn’t have gone this far.

Patting her head, I said, ”I’m sorry.”

Ariel didn’t say anything, but the way that she pinched me while grabbing my back made it clear what she was thinking.

It took a while to calm her down, but she did eventually calm down.

During that time, the royal guards had already taken care of everything that was in this place.

It wasn’t just the boss and the thugs that he hired, it was also the ones that were sitting above us. There wasn’t a single VIP that was able to escape the chase of the royal guards.

Even if they wanted to fight, it wasn’t as if they would be able to escape since the royal guards would be able to recognize them.

Many of them even tried to hide their faces with illusions, but that just didn’t work when the other side was the royal guards.

They were nobles and rich people, so they naturally recognized the royal guards when the boss and thugs didn’t. That was why there really wasn’t much struggle that came from them when they were raided by the royal guards.

The only thing that they were thinking about was how to minimize the damage to them.

While this was happening, it seemed like the boss had woken up again even though he was pinned to the wall with a spear.

Seeing everything that happened, he looked at me and asked, ”Just who are you?”

I didn’t answer this question, but there was an awkward smile that appeared on my face.

After all, it would have been strange to tell him that his business collapsed because of a couple’s dispute. If it wasn’t for the fact that Ariel was worried about me, then none of this would have happened.

In the end, the only thing that I could say to him was, ”You deserve this.”

An aggrieved look appeared on the boss’ face, but there wasn’t anything that he could say.

Instead, it was one of the royal guards that cut in by saying, ”Your presence is requested at the castle.”

It wasn’t hard to guess why we were being summoned to the castle.
