Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Thinking of what happened last night, I couldn’t help reflecting on some things.

”It turns out that I’ve never actually interacted with people enough that they have an idea of what I’m like. With all the things that I’ve done, they actually view me as some kind of higher being...”

Though I knew that part of this was because of the things that the Holy Empire had done.

Since this was the territory of the Holy Empire, it was only natural that some of the Holy Empire’s information would spread to these people.

But I knew that it was the holy knight that had spread the extra information that the Holy Empire hadn’t.

Thinking of all those different connections that I felt...

I already knew that the holy knights that followed Chris and Leon were changed out from time to time. It wasn’t a post that one would hold forever, but I had been told it was because of how popular it was that they competed over it.

It turned out that there might be more to this than what I was told.

After all, there was no way that all of those connections that I felt could have just popped up out of nowhere. There had to be someone that had been creating the statues that were responsible for those connections.

The holy knights that were swapped out were the prime targets for this.

Taking a deep breath, I just came to the conclusion, ”If I want to change their minds, I have to do it in the most direct manner.”

...

In the end, it only took a single night for me to get the opportunity to test what I wanted to test.

It turned out that they had already held the secret meeting several times since I had come, it was just that they weren’t certain about bringing me before this. It was only after we had gotten a bit closer that they decided to bring me along.

Though this time, it seemed like they had a different reason.

After the talk last night, it seemed like they were targeting me because of what I had said. It seemed like they wanted to convert me into their religion with the way that they talked to me.

But it certainly would be strange to recruit the one that your religion was based on into your religion.

At the very least, it seemed like they were determined to show me my own good sides.

When they came at me with this kind of aggression, I really didn’t know what to say.

The only thing that I could do was passively listen to all the things that they had to say.

It was just still embarrassing hearing people say all of this about me, especially since some of the things that they said were quite exaggerated. These definitely weren’t things that had a speck of truth in them.

After arriving in the church, I didn’t pay any attention to what was happening around me. I just went along with whatever the others wanted to do and let them say what they wanted to me.

Instead of focusing on the things around me, I was focused on the statue that was there. Or rather, I was focused purely on the connection to the statue that I had.

Even if I had figured something out last time, I found that it was actually harder than I thought to form that two way connection. It was naturally easier to receive than it was to send something to the statue.

But eventually, I was able to form that connection.

The only thing that I was waiting for was the right opportunity.

”Let us come together and pray once more.”

When the holy knight declared this, that was when I made my move.

In the silence, there was a voice that suddenly rang out.

”I am not what you think I am.”

The moment that everyone in this room heard this voice, they all looked at the statue in shock.

After all, anyone with even a little thought would be able to figure out that this voice was coming from the statue.

But there were strange looks on their faces as they processed what was said.

”What does he mean by this?”

It was clear that they were thinking this with the looks on their faces.

”My power comes from the power of creation.”

There were even more strange looks that appeared on everyone’s faces when they heard this.

It wasn’t as if they didn’t know this already since this was something that had been shared with others. Even if it hadn’t been, the Holy Empire had already long seen through this power and knew that the source of it was.

Which was why it wasn’t a surprise when this was said.

The only confusing thing was that no one was able to understand why this statue had suddenly said this.

After a long silence, the holy knight said, ”This is an oracle.”

The others still looked confused when they heard this, but the position that the holy knight had did lend weight to his words.

”This is an oracle of what his future as a god will be. We must prepare for our worship now.”

The side of my eye couldn’t help twitching when I heard this.

After all, this really didn’t seem to have the effect that I thought it would have.

In fact, it almost seemed like it had backfired to a certain extent.

Though they would certainly change the way that they addressed me, it didn’t seem to damper their mood at all. It made them seem even more fanatical since they thought that they were being favoured by receiving this oracle.

At the very least, I had accomplished my goal of changing their title for me.

At the same time, it wasn’t as if it was a problem if they recognized me as the next God of Creation.

It was the truth since that was what I had been told as well.

It was just that this was something that I had never told anyone else before.
