Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

The prayer didn’t last long since it wasn’t as if there was much that they could say about me.

In the first place, this kind of prayer ceremony was already very strange since it wasn’t as if the person being worshipped was special enough to be worshipped.

Not to mention that they didn’t know enough about me other than what was known by everyone. So the only things that they could say were things that were things that were already considered common knowledge.

At the same time, it didn’t seem like they knew much about these things that were considered common knowledge either.

There was one thing that was strange about what the person in charge was saying.

It wasn’t anything that they knew about me, rather it was the way that they described me.

”There’s too much detail...”

I really didn’t know what to say when they gave all of these details. In fact, they were describing me better than I could have described myself.

It really was hard to imagine just how they had been able to come up with all of this, but my guess was that they had seen me before somewhere. Or else they certainly wouldn’t have been able to describe me with such detail.

Looking closely at the one that was in front of everyone, I couldn’t help feeling that they looked familiar.

It took a while before I finally realized who they were.

But the fact that I recognized them made me even more surprised since this person had quite the special identity.

It was one of the holy knights that had followed Chris.

Those holy knights that were deployed were switched out from time to time, so this one was most likely one that had chosen to come back. Yet to come back and open a secret church in this place...

I really didn’t understand why they did something like this.

After all, I had never done anything that would be worthy of having someone follow me this devotedly.

Once the prayer ceremony was over, it didn’t seem like this was all that they were planning to do.

The holy knight at the front of the room suddenly took out something that he held up for everyone to see.

With my eyesight, it was easy for me to see what it was.

But seeing it made my lips twitch.

It certainly wasn’t something that I had been expecting to see.

”Ah, he really is handsome!”

This certainly wasn’t something that others would have said about another object of worship. At the same time, it really didn’t sound like something that someone worshiping would say.

Instead, it felt like something that a fan would say about their idol.

Seeing them all act this way, it really gave a different meaning to this secret meeting.

It felt like a gathering of fans instead of the faithful.

I really didn’t know what to say when they all acted like this, but it really made me feel strange.

It reminded me of the way that fans in my past life acted.

The one thing that I knew was that it was impossible for me to stop them from doing this, but I did at least want to correct them. I wasn’t against having followers since I had already made up my mind, I at least wanted to change how they acted while praying to me.

”God of Handsomeness.”

At the very least, I wanted them to stop calling me this.

After all, it would have been very strange if this was how I was remembered in the future.

”If I try too hard to convince them to give this up, it would blow up in my face. The only thing I can do is gently convince them of giving this up.”

But the real question was how to do this.

”Perhaps I can try something that I’ve never tried before.”

As this thought passed through my mind, I looked at the statue that was at the front of this room.

I wasn’t just looking at the statue to admire it, but rather I was focusing on the connection that I had with it.

This was a connection that wasn’t just one sided, I could tell that if I wanted I could connect myself to the statue. So if I wanted, I could actually send something to that statue.

It was similar to how the other gods sent things to the mortal world.

”It’s already too late for me to do something tonight, I’ll test it another night.”

While I had no idea how often they gathered in this place, it didn’t seem like it was a gathering that they waited that long to hold. It wouldn’t be long before I had a chance to test this power.

”So how was it?”

When the ones that brought me here asked me this, I really didn’t know what to say.

But after taking a few seconds to calm myself, I asked, ”Why are you worshipping someone unknown like this?”

When they heard this, they all looked at me with strange looks before suddenly looking at me as if they were trying to figure out if I was being serious or not.

Once they were certain that I wasn’t joking, they looked at me with even stranger looks.

Almost as if they thought that I was someone that didn’t know anything.

”How is he unknown? He’s the saviour that was sent by the gods to save us from the forces of Destruction.”

I was surprised to hear them describe me as this.

After all, I had never heard anyone describing me as this.

But once the box had been opened, it wasn’t as if we could go back. Once they started talking, it didn’t seem like they were planning to stop.

Which was why I had no choice but to listen to everything that they had to say about me.

It certainly was embarrassing to learn that they felt this way, but it also gave me a good idea of how I was seen by the common people.
