A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1296: Chapter 1296: Expelled from the Family

Zhuang Yi’s lips curled slightly, ”I never said that Jing Heng is an illegitimate child; it was the second young master of the Jiang Family who exposed this matter.”

Qiu Shuyun looked at everyone and quickly explained, ”I was just talking nonsense, it’s not true. How could Yu Tai do such a thing? Jing Heng is his brother.”

Of course, she also knew that this statement had no persuasive power, after all, Jiang Yutai and Jiang Jingheng’s relationship was extremely poor, to the point of being irreparable.

Zhuang Yi said coldly, ”The internal strife of your Jiang Family is none of my business, but bullying my sister and insulting my second aunt, that’s something my Zhuang Family requires an explanation for.”

He looked at Old Sir Jiang, ”Grandpa Jiang, I don’t mean to go against you, I just don’t want one rotten apple to ruin the friendship between our two families. You and my grandfather have shared life-and-death experiences, and now with Jing Heng and Nuannuan’s marriage further binding our families, our Zhuang Family is in Beijing and we can’t look after Nuannuan every day, so I can only ask you to cherish her as if she were your own granddaughter.”

”That scoundrel!” Old Sir Jiang’s face darkened, his gaze sweeping over his second son and daughter-in-law, ”You know very well what kind of behavior he has; if I continue to condone him, I’ll only be harming him. From now on, he is no longer the second young master of the Jiang Family.”

”Dad, you can’t!” Jiang Zhengfeng and Qiu Shuyun said in unison, ”Yu Tai knows he was wrong.”

Jiang Zhengting and Jiang Zhengfang, the two sisters, were also somewhat shocked. Just because of one sentence from Zhuang Yi, Yu Tai was to be kicked out of the house; was the old man being too ruthless? After all, he only had a few grandsons, how could he bear it?

Old Sir Jiang had no intention of discussing it with them. His gaze fell on Jiang Jingheng.

He sat there with an indifferent expression, as if it was none of his business. But to say that he was completely unaware of these matters was impossible.

Using someone to kill with a borrowed knife, this grandson of his was becoming more and more deep-minded.

”I’m feeling a bit tired, let Jingheng accompany you.” The old man suddenly looked at Zhuang Yi and said.

”You go ahead and rest, I’m fine on my own.” Zhuang Yi smiled slightly, having achieved his goal, he naturally allowed himself to smile.

”Dad, Yu Tai knows he was wrong, please give him another chance.” Jiang Zhengfeng and Qiu Shuyun chased after, pleading for their son.

Zhuang Yi let out a light breath, gloatingly said, ”Tsk, tsk, tsk, getting kicked out of the house, that’s a bit pitiful.”

Jiang Zhengfang frowned slightly, ”Young Master Zhuang, haven’t you been showing off too much prestige at the Jiang Family today?”

”I’m just stating the facts.” Zhuang Yi said blandly, ”Our Zhuang Family’s daughter and son-in-law can’t just be bullied, can they?”

Jiang Zhengfang did not respond, giving Jiang Jingheng a glance, thinking that this kid was lucky, marrying a woman and gaining the Zhuang Family as his backing. Thus, she also understood how she should act in the future.

After such a commotion, Jiang Zhengfang and her sister didn’t want to stay at home either, to avoid being begged by their second brother and second sister-in-law to plead with the old man for mercy.

Once they left, Mu Yan and the others also planned to head back to the villa.

Jiang Jingheng went back to his room to get his things, leaving only Mu Yan and Zhuang Yi in the living room.

Mu Yan suddenly asked, ”Aren’t you afraid that revealing Zhuang Chujiao’s identity like this will be too much of a blow for her?”

Zhuang Yi gave her a surprised look, ”What does that have to do with me?”

Mu Yan pressed her lips, saying nothing.

Zhuang Yi understood her thoughts and explained, ”There are some mistakes we’ve made once, we won’t make a second time. You are the true little princess of the Zhuang Family.”

He said with a self-deprecating tone, ”You may not believe it, but I used to really dislike her. But I couldn’t help but protect her, not out of family affection, just felt that this way, it was as if I could make up for that mistake.”
