A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1274: Chapter 1274: Visiting the Set

At the doorway of the hospital room, Mu Yan prepared to enter and saw Luo Yao feeding Mu Chen porridge. The two were silent, one feeding, the other opening his mouth, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Afraid of disturbing this beautiful scene, Mu Yan quietly retreated.

She checked her phone; just moments ago, someone was asking her what she was having for lunch. She immediately had an idea in her heart.

Shengyuan Group, the lobby on the first floor, with summer approaching, the company had received quite a few outstanding recent graduates, with many graduates coming to report in this period.

The receptionist girl was greeting these future elites of the company, contacting the relevant departments to come and collect them.

After sending off one, the next stepped forward, and the receptionist girl routinely asked, ”Do you have an appointment?”

”Uh, I suppose not,” the woman’s voice revealed hesitation.

The receptionist girl found the voice somewhat familiar, but her curiosity couldn’t outweigh her inner irritation — what’s the matter with coming without an appointment?

But as the company receptionist, she couldn’t show displeasure to guests.

She raised her eyes and smiled, saying, ”Then I’m sorry, if you don’t have an appointment...”

Her gaze swept over the person in front of her, and her voice abruptly stopped, her surprise evident without disguise, ”Mu, Mu...”

Suddenly, she realized something and quickly said, ”Hello, Madam President. Are you here to see the President?”

”Yes.” Mu Yan smiled slightly, ”Can you not tell him I’m here? I want to go up directly myself.”

The receptionist girl looked at the woman’s elegant face, her heart was filled with excitement. Although she knew Mu Yan’s identity from the Internet, this was the first time she saw her in person, even more beautiful than on TV.

Judging by her appearance, she only wore light makeup, and although her clothes were branded, they were understatedly matched, which made her seem poised and composed.

She instinctively asked, ”Are you giving the President a surprise?”

Mu Yan pondered briefly and said, ”You could say that.”

As she spoke, she lifted the packaged meal in her hand to show the girl.

The receptionist girl’s heart squealed; she was being fed dog food before having lunch.

Husband earning money at work, wife quietly bringing lunch – tsk tsk, so warm and romantic.

”So can I go up?” Mu Yan asked.

”Of course, the President has already given orders; you don’t need an appointment when you come.”

”Great, thank you.” Mu Yan nodded at her and turned to walk towards the exclusive elevator for the President.

Some employees also noticed Mu Yan, their eyes filled with surprise, only assuming they were mistaken.

Once the elevator door closed, everyone on the first floor awoke as if from a dream, looking at each other silently asking the person next to them, was it her?

The elevator stopped at the thirtieth floor, and Mu Yan exited and headed towards the office.

The secretary stood up as soon as she saw her, ready to stop her, but upon realizing it was Mu Yan, she immediately said, ”Hello, Madam President.”

The other assistants stood up to greet her.

Mu Yan smiled and nodded to them, ”Hello, everyone.”

She walked over to them and handed them a bag of snacks, ”This is for your afternoon tea.”

”Thank you, Madam President.”

”You’re welcome.” Mu Yan nodded, ”Is your President in the office?”

”Yes, the President is in a meeting with some high-level executives. You are...”

Mu Yan laughed and said, ”I’ll just wait for him in the lounge.”

With those words, she headed to the lounge next door.

Seeing her speak so agreeably, the secretary was a bit surprised.

One assistant whispered, ”She speaks so gently.”

”Last time she came in wearing a mask, I thought in private she was quite aloof, but she’s unexpectedly so approachable.”

”And even more beautiful than in the movies, a natural beauty.”

The secretary glanced at the few assistants and said displeased, ”Work hours aren’t for chatting idly.”
