A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 400: Chapter 400 When did you start liking him!

Mu Yan had read the script of ”Deep Palace Secret History” a long time ago. The female lead is a character completely different from Liang Wanyu. She had thought through it in advance, so acting it out wasn’t difficult.

Once the performance was over, although the director didn’t say much, his expression was relaxed, seemingly satisfied with her performance.

After thanking him, Mu Yan followed Song Cheng’an back to Upper City.

Jiang Jingheng wasn’t in Upper City, so she didn’t return to the villa and went straight to the hospital.

As soon as she entered the ward, she heard the laughter of Luo Yao and Mu Chen.

”The weather is dry. Eat more fruit; it’s good for your health.” Luo Yao’s voice was gentle.

”Why are you nagging like an old lady?” Mu Chen’s tone was somewhat impatient.

”I’m doing this for your own good. If you don’t eat, then forget it!”

”Hey, I didn’t say I wouldn’t eat.” Mu Chen quickly called out.

Mu Yan stood at the doorway, watching Luo Yao feed Mu Chen fruit. As she fed him, she helped him wipe his mouth. The two looked very close.

Mu Chen caught a glimpse of someone standing at the door, turned his head, and saw Mu Yan.

He immediately shouted, ”Sis!”

Luo Yao, hearing Mu Yan had arrived, was quite startled, stood up immediately, and looked at her somewhat nervously.

Mu Yan glanced at her, and as their eyes met, Luo Yao instinctively looked away.

Retracting her gaze, Mu Yan walked in and said to Mu Chen, ”Chenchen, how have you been lately?”

”I’m doing great!” Mu Chen replied, ”Sis, what about you? You look a bit haggard. Haven’t you been resting well?”

”Not really. The wind is strong in the mountains, and the climate is dry, so my skin inevitably doesn’t look as good as outside.” Mu Yan sat down, looked at Luo Yao standing, and said, ”Luo Yao, you can sit down too.”

”Ah, oh.” Luo Yao sat down and casually placed the fruit plate on the table.

Mu Yan asked Mu Chen a few more questions before going out to find the doctor for more information.

Seeing her leave, Luo Yao truly breathed a sigh of relief.

Mu Chen looked at her with a face full of surprise, ”Are you afraid of my sister?”

Luo Yao glared at him, ”What nonsense are you talking about? How could I possibly be afraid of her?”

”Oh.” Mu Chen didn’t think much of it, glanced at the fruit plate on the table, and said, ”I want some fruit.”

”Get it yourself if you want to eat.” Luo Yao was a bit irritable, and her tone wasn’t very good either.

If Mu Yan knew what she had in mind, she wondered what she would think of her.

Mu Chen felt puzzled. Everything was fine just now. Are all women so changeable?

When Mu Yan returned from the doctor, she saw Luo Yao standing in the corridor waiting for her.

She asked, ”What’s up?”

”Mu Yan, can I talk to you?”

Mu Yan looked at her for a second, then nodded, ”Okay.”

The two of them walked to the lawn at the back.

After hesitating for a while, Luo Yao said, ”I like Mu Chen.”

Mu Yan wasn’t surprised at all and asked, ”Does he know?”

”No.” Luo Yao shook her head.

Mu Yan looked at her with surprise, ”When did you start liking him?”

Luo Yao replied frankly, ”Probably when he smashed Zhou Lifen for defending you. At that moment, I found him really manly.”

She looked at Mu Yan and said sincerely, ”We’ve known each other for a while. You should know me. I’m not the type to play around casually. I’m serious about him.”

Mu Yan came back to her senses and smiled slightly, ”You shouldn’t tell me this. You should tell him.”

”So, you... agree?” Luo Yao looked at her with surprise and joy.

Mu Yan smiled slightly, ”I won’t interfere in his matters of the heart.”

Luo Yao didn’t mind Chenchen’s condition, so what else could she say?

Besides, Chenchen’s at an age where he should experience the taste of romance.

Luo Yao, upon hearing this, felt relieved, as long as Mu Yan wouldn’t grow distant because of this.

The future is long, and she was confident she could win over Mu Chen.
