A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 346: Chapter 346: Do You Think I Would Be Grateful to You?

After staying in the hospital for two days, Mu Yan was discharged.

She had only a few scenes left, rushing to finish and return to Upper City.

Jiang Jingheng wasn’t at ease, so he simply stayed with her and then returned to Upper City together.

After a few days apart, He Jianzhou was much steadier than before, even his acting had made substantial progress, barely having any NGs.

In the afternoon, the final scene was successfully completed, and Mu Yan’s scenes were wrapped up.

Unable to move easily, she waited for Luo Yao to come over and support her.

From behind, He Jianzhou’s voice suddenly came, ”Why did you save me?”

Mu Yan turned back to glance at him, ”No particular reason.”

He Jianzhou frowned, clearly dissatisfied with this answer.

He sneered, ”You think that because you saved me, I’ll be grateful to you?”

Mu Yan was a bit speechless; he was overthinking it.

”Whether you’re grateful or not is your business, whether I save you or not is mine.”

She paused, ”Maybe harming someone needs a reason, but saving someone doesn’t, even if I really dislike you.”

Just then Luo Yao came over, and Mu Yan withdrew her gaze, holding onto her hand to leave.

He Jianzhou watched her back with a complex expression.

These past few days, the question had been tormenting him, and now that he had the answer, he didn’t feel good.

Because saving someone is an instinct? Ha!

He suddenly said, ”The princess targeted by the witch ultimately has no way out but death.”

Mu Yan paused her steps, turned back to see He Jianzhou walking in another direction.

She tightened her brow slightly, was that said to her?

”Isn’t He Jianzhou out of his mind,” Luo Yao complained.

Mu Yan withdrew her gaze, ”Alright, let’s go.”

That night, Mu Yan returned to the villa in Upper City.

Yu Ma had prepared bone soup early and served it as soon as she got home.

Under Jiang Jingheng’s insistence, she drank three big bowls.

Mu Yan, touching her bloated belly, couldn’t help but complain, ”Drinking so much soup at night, I’ll definitely get fat tomorrow.”

”Whether you’re fat or thin, I like you,”

Mu Yan didn’t believe him, yawning lazily, ”I want to sleep now.”

”Mm.” Jiang Jingheng picked her up around the waist and headed upstairs.

Yu Ma watched their backs; this trip seemed to have strengthened the relationship between the young master and the young madam more than before.

In the hotel, a fierce session just ended, and the man suddenly got off the woman.

He reached for the cigarette and lighter on the bedside table and got up to walk onto the balcony.

The woman on the bed steadied her breathing, suddenly sat up, and looked at the silhouette on the balcony, asking, ”Why aren’t you sleeping?”

He Jianzhou didn’t speak, exhaling smoke, looking at the city in the night, his eyes vacant.

The woman got down from the bed, put on a robe, walked behind him, and wrapped her arms around his waist, softly saying, ”You were so different tonight than usual, it’s been a long time since I felt this way.”

He Jianzhou glanced at the hand on his waist, sneering, ”What? Can’t that man satisfy you?”

He recalled just now how she called out that man’s name in bed, a flash of disgust in his eyes.

”Jianzhou, are you jealous?” the woman chuckled softly, moved to hold his neck, kissing him, ”Don’t worry, I won’t forget you.”

He Jianzhou’s eyes darkened, suddenly lifting her up around the waist, tossed her onto the bed, and pressed down on her.

He had something on his mind, his actions were fierce.

Once it was over, he said in a deep voice, ”I don’t want a next time.”

The woman gasped for air while assuring him, ”Rest assured, this was a mistake, I wouldn’t dare risk you again.”
