A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 322: Chapter 322: Boycott Performance!

Not long after, the production crew called for someone.

”Mu Yan, it’s your turn.”

”Okay!” Mu Yan responded, said into the phone, ”I’m off to film now.”

She hung up the phone, handed it to Luo Yao, and went over.

The show ”Immortal Fate” mainly tells the story of the male lead Yun Tianheng meeting the female lead Han Jia Ning, being coaxed into pursuing immortality, going on a series of adventures, and ultimately not becoming immortal, but gaining friendship and love.

This scene is where Song Liuli meets Yun Tianheng and Han Jia Ning for the first time.

The mysterious girl uses an illusion technique to test Yun Tianheng and Han Jia Ning, but they break through it.

The illusion shatters, Han Jia Ning accuses the mysterious girl, ”So it was you playing tricks.”

Song Liuli looks indifferent, ”I was just testing your depth.”

”You...” Han Jia Ning is choked with anger, glancing at Yun Tianheng beside, ”You stupid savage, what are you looking at.”

Yun Tianheng snaps back to reality, looking at her innocently, ”Looking at her.”

”You...”

”Cut!” the director called to stop.

The three of them breathed a slight sigh of relief and looked at him.

Director Zeng looked at Xu Youxi and said, ”Youxi, you were too forceful, ease up on the expression.”

”Okay.” Xu Youxi nodded.

After shooting a few more times, they finally passed.

He Jianzhou looked at Mu Yan and smiled, ”Mu Yan indeed deserves Director Chen’s praise; your acting is much better than ours.”

Mu Yan instinctively felt this was a trap, calmly said, ”Everyone’s acting is very good.”

He Jianzhou smiled and said, ”Don’t be modest. Just now both Youxi and I made mistakes, only you didn’t.”

Xu Youxi’s face immediately turned unpleasant, she gave Mu Yan a cold look, snorted, and stormed off.

Mu Yan looked at He Jianzhou, her voice slightly cold, ”What are you trying to do?”

He Jianzhou smirked, ”I’m just worried you’d be bored in the crew, trying to find you some fun. No need to thank me.”

Mu Yan looked at his back, wanting to go up and kick him, lunatic!

Xu Youxi went to the rest area and asked the assistant, ”Is my acting not as good as that Mu Yan?”

The assistant quickly said, ”No way, your acting leaves her far behind.”

Xu Youxi let out a light snort, of course, she just didn’t perform well earlier, that’s all.

In the following days, Mu Yan felt something was off with Xu Youxi.

If it wasn’t forgetting lines, it was mishandling expressions.

She even felt Xu Youxi was trying to overpower her scenes, but unfortunately for her, her acting was poor, always ending up embarrassing herself.

After NG take after take, Director Zeng seemed a bit disappointed with her, ”Take a fifteen-minute break and continue.”

Xu Youxi pushed aside the clothes handed by the assistant, walked off the set with a sullen face.

Mu Yan also returned to the rest area, and Luo Yao immediately handed her a down jacket.

It’s really unpleasant shooting in this winter weather, too cold.

”What’s with this Xu Youxi?” Luo Yao said softly.

”Enough, don’t talk about this,” Mu Yan said softly.

Whether Xu Youxi’s acting is good or not isn’t something they should discuss.

Luo Yao understood, and didn’t continue.

Fifteen minutes later, Xu Youxi continued to NG three more times.

Director Zeng wasn’t giving her any slack, ”This scene won’t be finished filming, no clocking out, continue!”

He originally didn’t think well of those who got into the crew with backing, let alone those with poor acting skills.

Xu Youxi’s face was extremely ugly, she clearly felt it was fine, why was this director always targeting her.

She looked at Director Zeng and said with a sneer, ”If you think my performance is bad, fine, I won’t act. Get whoever you like to act!”
